Generations have passed since the Hero of Time rescued Princess Zelda and sealed Ganondorf within the Sacred Realm. The Hero of Time then departed from Hyrule and become a legend that every person and creature knew, in one form or another. One fateful day, however, the seal of the Seven Sages began to weaken for some reason. This, of course, then allowed Ganondorf to break free and make good on his old and forgotten promise to one day get his revenge on the descendants of those responsible for his imprisonment.. As darkness creeps across the land, the people pray for the Hero of Time to save them once again, but-- surprise, surprise... he doesn't appear.
And thus the citizens of Hyrule, unprepared and afraid, are forced to defend themselves against Ganondorf as he begins his siege. Without a hero, things appear bleak, but should a select few rise to the occasion-- perhaps Hyrule may be destined for a happier ending....
In the dark of the night, a woman's voice, heavenly and full of light, speaks to our unlikely heroes.... Could this be the voice of one of the goddesses answering the prayers of her people? It's unlikely very many people will believe you... and also possible that this voice is merely a figment of your imagination... but recent rumors of Ganondorf's return have got you thinking.
After nearly a month of vivid dreams and being told to attend the Hero of Time Festival in Kakariko Village-- and with the date fast approaching-- you're beginning to think that maybe it's worth a shot. A shot in the dark, perhaps, but still a shot. What's the worst that could happen, anyway? You pick up some free food samples at the festival? You become as legendary as the Hero of Time? For whatever reason, you decide to go.
Hey there, guys! So I've got this RP. Nearing its half-a-year mark. Itty bitty little thing. Simple, too. Only 92 posts so far and none of them are excessively long. It's a pretty simple shtick with a laid back posting speed. And I've got two empty spots that I'm trying to fill! Life's too short not to join a chill apocalyptic Zelda RP with a dark undertone that'll let you be almost any race you want.
Now, I know most people tend to be turned off by an RP that's already going, but hopefully you're not too scared if you're still reading by now. I would LIKE for people to skim through what's happened so far, but since we're nearing the end of our current little arc, we'll be coming out with a nice summary soon to help with that.

@Baklava Ah! I am very sorry about that! I got more than a tad excited on seeing you advertising for a couple more spots in your Zelda Roleplay. Second chances don't come along every day, eh?
I'll hang tight, though, to see what happens. Gonna have some hope i have some chance at that spot, but if it ends up being taken that's cool too. Just keep me in mind for the future if the spot ends up being taken, though if it isn't taken isn't taken i will definitely keep an eye open for notifications. ;)
Heyo! Not gonna say that I wanna take the last spot, but the prospect of a Zelda RP is definitely piques my interest. For now, I'm fine with lurking the main thread and reading the story you've guys have come up with.
@Baklava I meant it in the best possible way! I assumed that the last spot had already been filled and currently trying to see if I can pull of this whole being a GM thing before joining other RPs. ^^
@Baklava I can understand that. Just switched to my summer schedule for work, got through finals last week, so that is about how i am feeling about right now! XD
But for the time being i think i will take a look at the RP and think of a premise for a character. Not making anything i mean, like i rushed to do last time in a silly manner, but just for fun and just in case that spot does manage to fall in my direction somehow.
How's the Wisheater crew doing as well though?
@Jabber Hey, that's an understandable motive. Sometimes you just want to read a good story, and other RP'ers happen to create a good story to read, eh?
