Universal Rules of RPGC: • Plagiarism, as well as cheating of any kind, will not be tolerated. • The entry that receives the most votes will win the popular vote award of Best Entry for this month. • Read all entries before voting. • Cast your vote by stated in the thread which entry you're voting for. • Vote for whichever entry you like the best, using whatever criteria you want, and please state why you've chosen that entry above the rest. • Watch for special guidelines in each contest thread. principles • Although it's not mandatory, please consider giving reviews or critiques for some or all of the entries. Most people who submit a piece are looking for feedback, and even just a few words helps. • The RPGC staff exists to keep things running smoothly. We will help resolve issues when we can. Anyone can join our staff, BUT ONLY IF you feel like it. • We don't want to limit things like word-counts, grammar, or how you interpret the contest theme. In principle at least, we'll leave it up to you and to the voters. • Your entry should be something you wrote specifically for the contest at hand. • Critiques should not be harmful, spiteful, or mean. Negative criticism is inevitable, and probably much more helpful than positive reviews -- but be a human being about it, please. We're all on the same team here. • Votes can be cast along any criteria you choose. Along with style, quality, and technical accuracy, we suggest that you consider how well it conforms to (or creatively twists) the contest's themes. • The most important thing is to be cool to one another. General Notes All standard Guild rules apply. Click here for information about working on RPGC For more information about RPGC, try the Introduction to RPGC thread Previous contests, winners, creators, and other relevant info can be found in the RPGC archives Do you have questions about RPGC? You shouldn't! That's my mistake! Visit the feedback thread and ask away -- it's probably something I need to clarify in these assorted threads. Contacts In addition to our rotating staff of contributors that make the contests, RPGC's various logistical nightmares are overseen by a small permanent cabal of administrative volunteers. If you run into problems that can't be solved by other channels -- for example, problems with any member of the RPGC staff, foul play, or any complaints not suited for the feedback thread -- you can contact one of us. Currently (in the very short term) that means just mdk. If we (ahem, I) can't handle it ourselves, we'll make sure that it gets handled appropriately. Of course, if you have a problem with one of US (ahem, me), you can contact the forum staff as appropriate.
