After talking with a few people and clearing it with Mahz, I am pleased to announce that, as soon as the Inspired By A Song contest is over, I will be starting a new Writing Contest called The Twelve Labours. This is just a formal notice of such, so I will only touch upon the nature of the contest for the moment.
The Twelve Labours is an idea I've had since before the Oldguild crashed, and I actually ran it through a pilot session in a private member's group. I had been planning on starting it up just after the New Year, but things happened and the Newguild was not in the right shape for it until a while ago. I would have started it at the beginning of March, but I did not want to draw focus away from the Inspired By A Song contest.
As a sendoff: The Twelve Labours will be entirely unlike the current Writing Contests as envisioned by RPGC. The contests will be structured and executed rather differently, and there will be little if any thematic overlap between TWL and RPGC.
