[OOC] Arena Chat Thread

Hope Santa gave you the true meaning of Christmas or whatever! Anyways, I'm always keeping an eye out for events.

We should have a "Santa versus our characters" special event that's like "defeat the godmodder" or whatever it is. Each year someone else gets to be Santa who won the winter tournament. Santa's abilities can be interpretted by however is controlling him, from having ice powers to duel wielding giant candy canes to time controlling powers (which he obviously must have to deliver all the presents). He will likely be very OP but has to have some exploitable weaknesses.

I'm planning on another "main" character who can control points, which are basically small points in space that can destroy less powerful things coming in contact with it. He can make the points bigger and move them around as he grows in skill. They will of course be visible, but could be hidden within other objects. Think very slow moving bullets that you don't want touching you. He may be able to repel or attract things to it, which makes it seem similar to gravity magic but it's not truly (in before, "but it is gravity magic, you liar!!!"). He'll have good synergy with others, like attracting Evvie's fire around it to send out fireballs. Every main hero always needs a good scene where they can combine powers with their friends to dramatically defeat the boss, preferably while they're all shouting.

My character a day will be rebooted starting next year. They will get new numbering and such and I won't actually post one a day, but I'll get them done in a much more timely manner. It will be more like a regular database filled with characters I can actually care about.

How about I come up with a character sheet for my new guy you liked the idea of and he could be your opponent? I imagine him as mid power but his skills at max could be high tier, if not op unless I'm very careful. You can fight him at any tier besides god tier, who can simply ignore his abilities as it can't effect things that overpower him very well.

That hapless bystander would be much more suited for watching one of Evvie's fights, and of course her fire breath ends up melting it. He somehow manages to kill her with the ice cream cone despite being a normal bystander with, well, an ice cream cone as a weapon. He was just that irritated.

And somehow forgets she could simply fire breath the cone stuck in her throat. Yeah, perhaps something about this death scene doesn't add up.

Okay, I really, really outdid myself this time, staying up all hours of the night to create a map using photoshop. All so I could practice for when I want to create a map for the fantasy setting I'm developing. I think I have a problem. Well anyways...

I should have my character posted today or tomorrow, but when I post characters I tend to get stuck on some aspect that delays me unexpectedly.
