So there's this app that's big on my campus..It's like the anonymous confessions we do on here, but for like everyone on campus. It's starting to become a habit for me, though the confessions can get repetitive.

Anyone else have this going on where they are? If so, anything notable?

Also I know this thread is super late so hopefully it doesn't get bumped down too far by morning (lol).

YikYak was great when I was at University of Texas-Austin.

Since I moved/transferred, it's lost it's luster. But that's the story on YikYak: great in big college towns, not so much outside of them.

Yeah I imagine that must be the case. How big is the pop at the uni you came from? It's lije 17-18k over here.

University of Texas at Austin student population is around 50k.

In fact, I think YikYak put in an option where you can READ any areas Yaks, even if you can't submit them. So if you WANTED to go check out UT-Austin's Yaks, I think you could. I doubt you'd be bored. Although it is summer.

When ive been on the train ive checked out csusj and csufresno but it's somehow less entertaining when it's not my school. But maybe I'll give it a look.

We also have an anon confession page on fb, but that seems superfluous.

It's huge in Edinburgh. Virtually nonexistent at my uni, but presumably pretty big in London as a whole. My uni had an anon confessions page for a while but it died because it just turned into people confessing that they were depressed and suicidal. >___> yay4imperial

And a part of me is still stuck in the 90's so I don't got any of these new smurt phurnes. Or these "apps".
