In life, there are many obstacles and hardships, this is a fact that cannot be changed, regardless of what world or time period you are from. It's true that situations often help people grow and develop, but what happens when you find yourself stuck? What happens when there is nowhere to go and all you want to do is give up? Run away?

Suppose you find yourself lost, confused and then a crossroad appears to you one day; mysteriously. Maybe this has been happening to you for years or maybe this has only happened to you recently. The crossroad leads to a small, enigmatic cafe filled with bumbling energy and a certain sense of mysticism that you can only describe as "wisdom". This cafe is known as "Star Crossed" and is available to you and only you. True, family and friends may be able to see it, should they be stuck in the same mess as you, but otherwise, you've been selectively chosen.

So, now, you're given the opportunity to visit this cafe and explore it. You might find other species that you never knew existed or maybe you'll speak to someone who lived on the Earth over a hundred years ago. Maybe you'll find something new about yourself or the world around you. Maybe you'll find out the truth behind the cafe. Or maybe, just maybe, as outrageous as it sounds, you might find. . true love?

It's a nice surprise and maybe you have a guardian angel watching after for you after all.

Rules

• All RPG rules apply and override my word.
• You can have two characters. All characters must be original, however, they can be from any time period or world of your choice.
• This is a Roleplay focused on self-discovery and true love, so I expect there to be character development.
• Romance is totally allowed and recommended, but anything 18+ must be taken to PMs or "fade to black".
• No OOC drama is permitted. First one to start, first one to get kicked out. Warnings may or may not be issued, it depends.
• Forcing romance on another player's character is strictly forbidden.
• No meta-gaming, power-playing or god-modding is permitted. You cannot control another player's character unless permitted.
• I love enthusiasm! If it's tame. I don't want two pages between three players, so please don't speed post.
• Third person, past tense, A+ grammar and spelling, a few sentences at least.
• Roleplaying is a hobby, not a job. Have fun and if it is stressing you out, take a break or don't be ashamed to drop out.

I'll likely make two males, but I'll easily balance out the other CSes if need be. I wouldn't worry too much about it right now due to the fact that others have yet to post their CSes and it can be balanced out in the future due to having a two character limit. I'm not too worried about an equal amount either.

Reason: Evelyn left home looking for a better life for her and her family, but being so small meant big problems. One thing led to another, and Evelyn found herself lost... That is until the crossroads appeared.

Personality: Gutsy and true, this inquisitive Lilliputian has the most elegant imagination; spending hours creating magnificent castles in air and populating them with an endless variety of whimsically quirky characters. These adventuresome dreams dramatically influence her behavior, and often lead her into dangerous situations. But Evelyn is a girl with moxie, and a team player who's always ready to lend a hand. Surprisingly, she is also very good at giving herself advice, but seldom does she follow it.

Biography: Nestled in an alcove on Knotting Street, you’ll find an old looking building wedged between two equally antiquated establishments. It was within this tiny, seemingly ordinary abode that you’d find the most hair-brained collection of aberrant knickknacks, secondhand treasures and overall junk that most would ever hope to come across. Novelties from decades past and an accumulation of other such trinkets, brooches and heirlooms are scattered in loosely generalized piles over every empty surface open to house them. Everything from rusty bird cages, to gramophones, to ancient books with missing covers and torn pages, seemed to have a place, even little Evelyn. The shop was a haven for Lilliputians, that is until the owner, Ms. Beatrice Kendrick passed away due to unknown circumstances and the ever enclosing risk of loosing their much loved home came all to real for Evelyn and her family.

Selpion's are Half Water Nymphs and Half Humans. These species can take the form of anything. They gravitate towards more appealing appearances though.

Origin: Modern Earth

Reason: Thillie is trying to find her inner self. She is struggling on getting to know herself and how exactly she can come to terms or come to do so. That way she can finally come to peace with herself and be able to socialize and meet people.

Personality: Thillie is usually kept to herself but always open to meet new people I suppose you can say. She prefers to gravitate towards people with more positive vibes towards her than the people with negative vibes. Of course with her socializing issues it's rare to have people direct positive issue to her. Regardless of this she is always there to lend a hand. She can always give good advice but cannot give her inner self good advice.

Biography: The first few years of her life are a tad of a blur to her. Because her mother was a full Water Nymph she spent most of her time with her father. She could remember going to the pond on the families land and sitting for hours talking to her mother. This happened for years this also is why she tends to be less social. She spent endless days trying to spend time with her mother that it was to much for her to actually spend time with the friends she had. This happened all the way up until her 18th birthday. She decided to spend time with her friends that night. During the process and constant discussion on where to go to get something to snack on they finally decided on a cafe. One that only two of them were familiar with.

• She is really into Fleetwood Mac.
• Sometimes when she is bored she likes to take the shape of the person she is most fascinated with.
