(The RP starts with our characters boarding the S.E.U Lightyear for the first time to receive a mission briefing from the Ostara Republic in the Briefing Room.)

The doors to the decontamination area opened along with the side door inside the ship and Cadence Summers, known as Echo stepped inside. She was greeted with an immediate salute from both a human and a Dreshykk who guarded the entrance.

“Good morning, commander.” Said the Dreshykk as Echo walked past them without saying a word. The human nodded along with the Dreshykk’s words.

Walking down the walk-way that led to several doors, she was greeted by many other S.E.U ship workers from all races. This was a moment she never thought was possible. She was appointed the commander and squad leader of the S.E.U after demonstrating her talents at the Ostara Republic recruitment centers, giving pointers to all the new volunteers who decided to join the war for a peaceful galaxy. She remembered the words of a human representative who approached her during her training.

“Ms. Summers it is a pleasure to meet you. I am Jordin and I am here to congratulate you on your new position as the commander of the S.E.U. The Seer will be pleased to have you on board.” He finished.

Echo lowered her assault rifle after aiming and firing a shot at a practice dummy, lifting her goggles and turning to face the man before her.

“Jordin, huh?” she said as sweat left her forehead. “I appreciate it but try not to flatter me. I haven’t necessarily been a commander in over ten years. It’ll take time for me to re-adjustment!” she said, immediately turning around and firing a shot at the practice dummy again before laying her rifle on the table in front of her. She reached into one of her pouches that were hooked on a leather strap that lay across her chest and pulled out a pack of smokes she bought before joining the expedition. She took one out and put it between her lips lighting it and blowing out smoke.

“Besides, it’s not as easy as it sounds.” She finished then walked away, Jordin followed her.

“But you are the very first female human to lead this new special unit. Surely, somewhere deep down you prepared yourself for this.”

“The only thing I’m prepared for is seeing my family again. This is merely community service as far as I can see it. I’m still a prisoner, Jordin, remember?” Cadence replied.

“Well to me you are free” Jordin sighed then continued, “Look; allow me to be the first to say that I am happy to have a human onboard with us. I do not trust the Seer as much as the others. Hell, I don’t even trust every other species that fled their planets to take refuge here. Some of them even joined the S.E.U but can they truly be trusted?” he asked.

That was a question that Echo did not have an answer to. She just looked at him briefly and took another puff of her cigarette. When she really thought about it, she herself knew that it was hard to trust the other species as well…but being in this new position made her feel as if she should be more humble.

“Look, I know this is home to humanity now. Earth is becoming dry and I know we need to get along with the others but…I’m just afraid they are not who they say they are. Stay safe out there, Cadence, alright? That is all I am saying.”

Jordin walked away but Cadence didn’t look at him go. She simply continued to puff on her cigarette looking down on the marble floor that made up the hallways of the Ostara Republic’s main building.

Back on the ship, Cadence approached a female Santerian.

“What do we have?” She asked in a bold and confident tone.

“The Republic will be transmitting through the comms room shortly, ma’am. They wish to discuss the mission with the team.” The Santerian said.

Cadence nodded and entered the briefing room. She noticed that the rest of the main team hasn’t arrived yet. She took a deep sigh and leaned over a rail that surrounded a large panel in the center of the room where the republic can arrive as holograms of themselves. For a short moment, a flash of her family popped into her mind. This is it…This is what being a convict after serving in the military gets you…an entire new burden. She wasn’t entirely sure she was up for it, but this was the day she trained so hard for when she first arrived.

Now, she has to meet the team that she would give orders to…she wondered who they were, what their skills were…how would she lead them? What exactly was this important mission about? Were all the things that troubled her mind. She waited patiently for the others to arrive.

That ship was beautiful. And huge. And Impressive with capital I. Maxwel could not believe it even though he was just about to board the vessel. "Oh yes.." He mumbles to himself and grins, adjusting his headphones and then looking along the ship again. He would be going places. He would not mind digging around the ship persnally, taking it apart and putting back together afterwards. But he lacked the equipment to do so as well as the time, so it would be better not to do that. Besides, some impatient nitpicker would probably get upset if he did such a thing to their cutting edge ship. He would sneak to see the engineroom though. Someday.

After wandering around needlessly long time and being completely amazed by the insides of the ship, he finally remembered why he came here the first place and soon found his way into the briefing room, after stepping into every little sidepath he could find first. If there was someone waiting for them, he would have completely lost them within the first five minutes of his exploration, granted that they would have had a chance to catch up with him in the first place. Unfortunately for his greatest disappointment yet, he could not get into the shuttle bay yet no matter how hard he tried. Thus he finally got into the briefing room and glanced around real fast, only spotting one other person there. She was standing in the command deck, atleast that is what he thought it seemed like, thus she was either quite a curious chick or then...well, better play it safe. He salutes her.

"Maxwel Saturn, at your service." He stated his name politely yet firmly. Just as father had taught him. What his father had nowhere nearly taught to him would be messy hair and headphones on his ears, or well, one of them as he knocked the other one down while saluting. Normally he would have cursed slightly and tried to catch it, but as he, assumingly, was in the presence of a commanding officer he just allowed the headphones yank down and fall around his neck instead.

As Yamesh approached the S.E.U. Lightyear, his brain was already working on pointing out the possible weaknesses. Thus far he had discovered three. There would probably be more on the inside. Though for Ostara standard it was still a marvelous ship. He wondered what computer systems it would run and if it had any defenses against cyber attacks. He would have to ask.

As he approached the main entrance of the ship, he was halted by a guard. "You can't take that thing on board", pointing at a floating drone behind Yamesh. The Santerian raises an eyebrow and speaks with a elegant yet obvious irritated voice. "K-1LL is my personal assistance and combat droid. He goes where I go. If you do not like that, you can take it up with the commanding officer. I'm sure she'll love it when she hears that you denied me, a crucial member of this unit, entrance." The guard hesitates for a second before letting Yamesh pass with a nod. He smiles and K-1LL let's out a beep. As Yamesh passes the guard he can hear him mutter under his breath: "Bloody stuck up Santerians." He'd heard that a lot the last couple of days.

Although there were direction signs, Yamesh urged himself to quickly make a mental map as well. You couldn't always rely on signs after all. He quickly makes his way to the briefing room, only stopping once when passing the bridge. He makes a quick mental note of the computers.
Need to ask about software systems, OS, defensive capabilities, offensive capabilities. Potential upgrades if allowed. More? No, no more is needed. That is all. He shakes his head and continues his journey towards the briefing room.

After a short walk he finally arrives. Two humans. Male? Female? Hard to tell with humans. One, clearly the commanding officer. Other? Possible squad mate. Too colorful. Will be first to die in natural environment. Suggest other colors when alone. He walks up next to the colorful human and salutes. "Yamesh Dyar, reporting for duty commander."

[Click, Click, Click, Click. Boop, Dweep. Boop.]

"What do you mean they don't allow drones on board?" asked Cayne Zarubin while reading Pathfinder's actual dialogue from the holographic HUD generated his earpiece.

[Click, Beep, Beep. Dwoop]

Cayne looked past his recon drone and noted two guards posted at the S.E.U. Lightyear's main entryway, including what appeared to be Santerian and his own hovering companion beside him. The two parties began to converse as Pathfinder eavesdropped on the trading of words, displaying conversation through text on Cayne's HUD to dissect. After catching a glimpse of an eye roll from one of the sentries, the two guards eventually gave way to the Santerian and the bulkier drone.

Cayne shook his head, "Some people just simply have no respect..."

[Dweep.]

"Just to avoid angry stares, go ahead and enter stealth mode for a minute. Lie low."

[Beep. Beep, Dwoop.]

"Because I don't have your docking kit smart ass, its on the ship being sorted out with the rest of the cargo." retorted Cayne.

Pathfinder acknowledged and vanished into a field of transparent hexagons before completely phasing out of reality. Giving a quick nod, Cayne approached the ship's entrance casually, maintaining a cool demeanor as if he wasn't 'smuggling' some sort of advanced military hardware on board. It appeared that the guards had not taken any notice of anything unusually; probably because they were still rather fumed about their meeting with the alien crew member moments ago as Pathfinder continued to feed their hidden grumblings to Cayne. "Gentleman." Cayne greeted as he past them to which they lightly nodded in reply as an acknowledgement and continued their conversation between each other.

After turning the corner, Cayne looked in bother directions and saw no one nearby. "You can de-cloak now."

The reconnaissance drone replied and shifted back into sight, revealing itself once more. "If security is that oblivious, I honestly have little faith in our ability to defend ourselves against a ninja attack."

[Beep. Dweep.]

"You know what I meant."

For awhile, Cayne had traveled down the hallways of the S.E.U. Lightyear, making himself with the vessel's floor plans while having Pathfinder map out the ship for his own reference in case he got lost; the ship was honestly much larger than he had anticipated. After exploring all he could without hitting a restricted area, Cayne head eventually found the briefing room. Just before even trying to step foot into the room, Pathfinder had suddenly floated in between him and the doorway.

[Dwoop. Click, Click. Beep.]

"The Commander is in there? Oh boy, I didn't know that..." commented the sniper as he fixed his posture and cracked the stiffness out from his neck. "First impressions, you know what I'm sayin'?"

[Dweep.]

"Hush."

Cayne walked in with Pathfinder in close tow. catching glimpse of several of his eventual squadmates as they waited for the rest to arrive. His eyes had then landed on a particular female officer whom appeared extraordinarily intimidating. Pathfinder silently identified to Cayne who she was. Upon realizing this fact, Cayne snapped to attention once he had presented himself to the Commander.

"Cayne Zarubin, reporting for duty! Ma'am!"

Stellan considered the ship in front of him for a few moments, taking it all in, before he laughed. The booming sound caused several people, scattered about the dock, to look around startled. He grinned and gave them all a casual wave, they waved back uncertainly, clearly unsure how to respond to the big man with the loud voice. With a parting grin he stepped up to the sentries guarding the entrance to the ship. He was, not surprisingly, taller than both of them and they both looked up to see his face.

"Whoah." One muttered and his colleague elbowed him sharply, he stiffened realising he had spoken out loud and quickly painted a serious expression on his face.

"Hi fellas." Stellan said. "I'm Stellan Johanson, I've been assigned to your beauty here." He indicated the ship with a gesture of one large hand. His other hand held onto his pack with his few personal possessions. Dressed in his military uniform, that clearly displayed his rather large build, he was somewhat intimidating though he did not realise it. The sentries looked him up and down for a long moment and Stellan waited patiently. He was used to this kind of response from people. After a few minutes more they nodded him through and Stellan thanked them by tipping his cap at them. He strode onto the ship proper several people scattering to get out of his path as he did so, behind him one of the sentries muttered to the other. "Damn did you see that guy? Damn I wouldn't want to piss him off."

Stellan merely shrugged as he continued through the ship, maybe he could find the sentries another time and take them out for a drink. They sure seemed to need one. After wandering the ship for a while and getting thoroughly lost he finally stopped someone and asked for directions. The young woman offered to show him where the briefing room was and he gladly accepted. He decided, after she had left him at the briefing room doors, that there was definitely some fun to be had on this ship. But for now duty called, he straightened his uniform and ensured his braided hair and beard were neat before stepping into the room.

Several had arrived before him, all human other than one Santerian, and it wasn't hard to see that the human woman was the one in charge. It was in the way she carried herself and the air of authority around her. Stellan stood to attention and saluted crisply his pack at his feet.

Akame

Akame slowly walked over to the ship with her sports bag carried over one of her shoulders. She wouldn't want anyone to simply go look into her bag while they were loading it into the ship so she was extra carefull by carrying it herself. All her other stuff was loaded into the ship by company though so she was only carrying a little amount of her own stuff, mainly the delicate clothes of the beaty. Akame walked past the two guards with a wide grin on her face while displaying her entrée pass. No problems from that, she could easily enter without much of a hazel. Akame walked along the long hallways of the ship exploring it a little on her first entree and dropped her bag off at the dorms area. She casually strode around the ship with a whistle and explored the bridge and command center. She sat on one of the chairs and looked over the controls. Didn't seem to hard.

Akame soon made her way to the debriefing room where her other colleagues were at the moment. She widely grinned while entering the room and went with a loud welcome "Morning!" She snickered a little and continued "Name's Akame! Nice to meet ya'll!" She had a big smile on her face and hoped they had just as a friendly greeting towards her. She quickly glanced over the crew members that were already on board and noticed who could possibly be the commander of this group. Well she should be able to tell fast enough.

Cadence was lost in thought, scrambling through the many memories of both good and bad that plagued her mind. By now, the fact that she was one of the pioneers to discover this new galaxy, finding the Seer, and becoming the commander of the S.E.U, was beginning to sink in even further; which she was starting to accept, but it was not easy. She was still considered a prisoner of earth was given a heavy burden. She was not as free as many thought that she was. Even though she was innocent based off of her crimes of killing several unarmed U.S. soldiers ten years ago, she would be shot on sight if she even made a single mistake; that was enough to make her feel as though she hadn’t earned her title the way she wanted. The door opened and her thoughts were interrupted when a male appeared. When she caught his line of sight, he saluted.

“Maxwel Saturn” at your service, she heard him say.

“At ease, soldier. Don’t salute me just yet; I haven’t done anything to deserve your honor. A pleasure to meet you, however, you can call me Echo. I haven’t adjusted to the title commander just yet.” She replied.

Motioning around the center of room she continued to visualize her surroundings when yet another entered. A Santerian by the name of Yamesh introduced himself.

“At ease, soldier. As I was telling Maxwel here” she said revealing his name to Yamesh, “I haven’t done anything to deserve that type of respect. I hear a lot about Santerians and I know of your people’s history and this makes me sorry to hear such a thing.” She said and finished.

After pausing briefly, Cayne, Stellan, and Akame all entered as well. Cayne and Stellan saluted but Echo shook her head, giving them the impression that she didn’t care about being saluted. The only one who appeared to be a bit oblivious compared to the others was Akame but before she could introduce herself to her, the comms channel located in the center of the room opened and the voice of a VI played over the ship’s intercom.

“The Ostara Council is reporting in, Commander.” The voice said.

The lights in the room went dim and holograms of the three council members appeared to be standing on top of the panel that surrounded by rails. On the council were a male Seer, male Human, and a female Santerian. The Seer was Counselor Cavis, the male human was Counselor Thomas McNeil (former member of the S.E.U Intelligence) and the female Santerian was Counselor Obora.

Echo turned around and saluted them.

“Counselors.” She said.

“We hope you enjoy your ship, commander. You will need it for your first mission with your team.” said Cavis.

“You were given a special opportunity to work some of the best elite soldiers the Republic has ever seen. Allow me to introduce Maxwel Saturn.” Obora said as Echo turned to face Maxwel. Obora continued, “The pilot of the S.E.U Lightyear and other vehicles. He has demonstrated remarkable skills in flight training and has been appointed, as of now by the council, the official pilot who is the lead in charge of guiding your ship through much hazardous zones.” She finished.

Echo gave a slight nod to Maxwel and could tell that she given a great pilot.

“Next is Yamesh Dyar, a personal friend of mine. I appointed him in the position to provide any mechanical assistance that you may have, which includes upgrading or reparing your weapons, armor, your ship and other equipment. He is a good man and one of the most intelligent men I have ever met.” Oboro finished, who is also a Santerian.

Echo looked at Yamesh and nodded her head at him.

“Well it seems he will certainly come in handy. Things go wrong all the time.” Echo replied.

“Next is recon specialist Cayne Zarubin. I have witnessed his training sessions and believed he is well suited for the team of the S.E.U. His sniping, recon, and stealth capabilities outmatched those who were also training for his position. This mission that you are faced against will require his extraordinary talents, use them well commander and congratulations on your new position, Zarubin.” Said Cavis.

Echo nodded at Cayne and turned to see who the council would introduce next.

Thomas McNeil, with his hands folded behind his back, introduced Stellan Johanson.  “Next is Stellan Johanson, commander. A one tough son of a b**** he will be your brute. I have witnessed this man’s strength for myself. Nothing nearly stands in his way and if you are caught in a dangerous predicament, he can quickly save a bunch of lives. Those guns of his can be mounted to just about any and every vehicle you have. They can also be carried by hand. Trust him to get you out of sticky situations while putting fear into his enemies. Congratulations, Johnason.” McNeil said and nodded.

Echo looked over at Stellan and nodded her head as well. Indeed he was a brute, handsome too.

“Next is Akame and like Stellan, she can also deal high amounts of damage at a faster firing rate than any squad member. She is also extremely fast, which allows her to target multiple enemies inside a group of enemies. Her keen sense of agility and firepower makes her a very dangerous but very adored ally, commander. Her talents, will also be made use of during this mission.”

Echo smiled at Akame and nodded her head but she wondered exactly what this mission was.

“Team of the S.E.U, you are standing in the presence of earth’s most gifted and talented commanders. Cadence “Echo” Summers. She has led many groups in her past and has triumphed plenty of battles. She will guide you and you are to listen to her orders. Failure to do so and you will be in violation of the Republic’s military code of law. And we would like to welcome you all to the S.E.U. Your first mission is to travel to the homeworld of the Dreshykk and see what you can find out about their forces. Our intel revealed they have a secret underground hideout where they keep all of their information. There is a sewage tunnel that leads straight into the hideout a few clicks from the waypoint and is the safest entrance. Once you downloaded their intel, return to the Lightyear and report any findings that you found. May the blessings of Seral be with you all.” Finished Oboro as the transmission ended and the lights grew back into the room.

Echo turned to Maxwel, “Alright Saturn, you’re up. Get us there quick and quiet, got it?” she said as she looked at everyone else.

“Yamesh, get down to the shuttle bay and make sure our equipment is up to par. Stellan, Akame make sure your gear is ready. Cayne, follow me to the command deck and keep watch on any incoming transmissions, alright?” Echo demanded and continued, “Let’s go.”

Maxwel felt quite proud of himself already. Most likely the credit given to him had already filled his head more than enough, and if that was not enough yet, they had palced him in charge of flying the Lightyear. A small smirk on his face slowly evolved into a grin and from there, a wide grin. He made sure to catch all the right names and right faces for the rest of his new team to make sure he'd avoid al lpossibly awkward mistakes when adressing someone. He patiently waits until the end of the briefing and was immediately adressed. He salutes the commander with dumb grin on his face before turning away and swiftly moving to the pilotseat."Well then people, you do you and I do me, me and my new girlfriend had an assigment right from the start." He sits down and feels the seat and glances across the controls, switches and buttons, quickly memorizing and identifying them then."Am I ever glad that vehicles are genderless. Usually it's difficult to keep a girl quiet under my care. BAM!" He starts up the engines and waits for the clearance while the others did whatever it was they were doings, and soon they were off towards their destination. Maxwel leans back against his seat and snaps on the speakers casually while moving his headphones from his neck and out of the way."Welcome to the S.E.U Lightyear Airlines, we are on our way Xan, ETA, let's say few hours for now before I am fully aware of her true capability." He turns off the speakers and pulls out sunglasses from his pocket, flips them open and places them on his eyes. He was so going to places.

Mirrah wandered about in the halls of the ship, inspecting everything without reason. Although she had seen vessels that could travel across the stars, she was still fairly new to such a concept. She was still curious on how a large, metal construct could lift itself into the sky and beyond. Of course, she didn't quite care much for it. The ship fulfills its purpose. Wondering how and why it works does not take precedence...Still didn't stop her, though.

The Seer named Mirrah is a volunteer member of the S.E.U., and by the light of Seral, she will help to end the conflict between the warring worlds, and bring about a time of peace. She had high hopes that this force will be able to achieve this goal...however, there was something that bothered her. A potential problem that packed a particularly powerful punch. That problem was the leader of the force itself. Commander Cadence "Echo" Summers. A human with enough experience in leading warriors and soldiers that she was trusted to this group of mixed cultures and personalities.

It wasn't that she had little faith in Echo's ability to lead. It was just that there were some things about her Past that concerned Mirrah. The commander has been accused of murdering people of her own unit in the Past. What these reason were, and whether or not they were true were unknown to Mirrah, but if they were true, then she would have to be careful.

In any case, Mirrah would have two objectives to fulfill in this group. The first is the goal that her people wanted. The second was to keep watch over Echo and her actions. Should the commander become a danger to those appointed by the Council or otherwise, then Mirrah would have to detain her.

As these thoughts finished and faded into their places within her memory, Mirrah found herself on the command deck, where she would see Echo in the flesh. She was accompanied by another human. Their faces seemed to focused and serious, as if the mission was the only thing they were thinking of. Her companion gave less of that impression, but the Commander had a grave expression on her face.

Mirrah walked over to a wall, and simply stood where she stopped.

The Santerian doesn't seem to be moved by the praising words of the Council member. He also doesn't look impressed with the description of his other teammates. It seems Yamesh was hard to please...

Yamesh accepted his task with a quick nod. "I want everyone who does the field-work down in the shuttle bay in half an hour. The Council asked me personally to implement some new tech, and since most of you are..." He swallows an insult and decides to say something else. "... Let's just say that this new tech might need some explaining." And with that said he left the Briefing Room, making his way towards the Shuttle Bay. "K-1LL. Note: Psychological profiles matches those of all crew members. Council did a stellar job."

Once he arrives in the Shuttle Bay, he approaches a man who are part of the crew. They seem busy unloading the equipment for the team. "Be careful with that. Some of this tech is more worth then your lives." ,Yamesh says with a serious look on his face. The men look at each other and quickly finish their work, leaving Yamesh to his work. Yamesh takes a look at the assorted items on the table. It seemed all was here. Chips, their modified guns, new visors. "At least there is something humans can do correctly, I suppose."

Being late was something Janos did not have a habit of doing - though this time he indeed was late. The man arrived to the ship and exchanged a few words with the soldiers standing guard before making his way inside. He adjusted his messy hair a bit and took a better hold of the large metal case he was lugging around.

Janos managed to get to the agreed upon meeting place just when the actual meeting had came to an end. With a little mumbled "Damn it..." the explosives expert forced a little smirk to his lips and approached the person he assumed to be in charge. He did not bother with a salute, or even standing in attention as he stepped in front of Echo. "You must be the boss 'round here - Summers, right? The name be Kalpa - Janos Kalpa - though if that's too difficult to pronounce you can just call me Tsar like the guys back home used to." His tone was polite, but the rather odd accent and drawling way of speaking gave it a bit of a strange edge. "M guessin' I'm late - sorry about that."

Janos paused for a moment to place the large case on the floor and the smirk of his widened a bit in to something that could be considered either a smile or a manic grin. "Guess you already read all them reports, but guess I'll still inform you that I'm the best damn explosives expert humanity has to offer." He spread his hands slightly - serously, if he'd let out a maniacal giggle you could think he's a super villain or something.

When Cadence left the room along with the team she was stopped in the hall by a guy named Janos. Also, she was unaware of Mirrah's presence but there was something off and she felt as if she was being watched.

"Explosive expert, huh? Seems like you and Yamesh will make a great team. Get down to the shuttle bay immediately soldier we have a mission to attend to."

Suddenly she turned her eye slightly to the right subtly catching the presence of a female Seer but pretended as if she didnt see her.

"We have to go to Xan, the home world of the Dreshykk and see what we can dig up on their forces."

She started walking away to the command deck where the pilot and other members are working on the navigation systems. She said a few more words before leaving Janos go team up with Yamesh. Move out, soldier."

When she got to the command deck she sat down in the chair that looks over the entire room. She pressed a button that was built into the arm rest. It was the intercom she spoke to the crew who located in different parts of the ship.

"Dyar there is someone coming down there with you. Take a look at his equipment and make sure everything is good."

"Stellan, Akame you two have your heavy weapons in check? They will come in handy."

Stellan took a minute to look over their commanding officer and decided he liked what he saw. She was clearly experienced and knew what she was doing. Plus she wasn't bad looking either which was always a bonus.

Most of his teammates,he, saw were Human with the exception of one. Not that it mattered to him, aliens or humans they still had a sense of humour, usually and he generally got along with either fine.

As people began to disperse to prep for their mission. Xan,of all places, he took a moment to check out Akaka. They would most likely be spending a good amount of time together and so he wanted to get an idea of who he would be working with.

Though smaller than him, who wasn't?, she still looked like she could handle herself. Plus she was clearly a happy person which Stellan thought would go well with his demeanour.

"Looks like you and me." He said with a grin. "Shall we go see what toys they have for us?"

He walked out of the room heading for the Shuttle Bay. He hoped she's follow him but he didn't wait to check as he had work to do.

Akame

As soon as Akame entered the room the holoboard in the middle of the room switched on, displaying three people that were assuming to be the councel. Akame smiled brightly as she saw the holoboard. She was happy to see that this modern technology was being used on this ship. It was truly an experience itself to work on this ship for the coming time. The council started speaking to the woman with short dark colored hair. Akame too turned her sight towards the woman looking her over from top to bottom. She didn't look like someone who enjoys reading book inside all the time but explore and hurt her enemies. She might be great in wrestling matches too if she tried. Akame grinned a little, thinking of the woman at a pro match beating up some 400lbs giant. Akame showed confidence with her smile and made a peace sign with her right hand "You got that one right!" She dropped her hand alongsides her body again and placed the other hand on her hip.

The council explained the mission to the crew and left the room by turning off the holograms. The commander immediatly took action and send everyone to their own posts to prepare for the mission ahead. Akame turned around and saw her colleague Stellan already looking over at her. Akame happily smiled at him dropping her hand from her hip again and poking it out at Stellan to give him a personal introduction "Heya! Akame, nice to meet you Stellan! Hopefully we get along as colleagues!... Let's!" She laughed a little and followed behind him towards the shuttle bay. It was awfully quiet while they walked so she had to start something to give him a good first impression. Akame joined her hands together behind her back and started to walk alongsides him with her upper body angled to the front with her eyes and head pointed towards him "Sooooo, how long have you been in service... and what have you been doing before this?" Her voice a cheerful and curious tone to it.

Akame and Stellan soon entered the shuttle bay. As Akame set her first step into the room she immediatly dashed off. Her sight was focussed on only one thing, a man in uniform that was helping out with unpacking the supplies, he was carrying a purple case on his back and had a stack of boxes in his hands. She ran with full speed towards him and yelled out "CHARLOTTE!" Akame loudly laughed as she jumped onto the man with her arms widespread. They both ended up on the ground with Akame hugging the man and the case while the supplies were scattered over the ground. The man ran off, leaving Akame and the mess solely on the ground. Akame continued talking with a hyperactive and excited tone "I missed you so much! It must have been terrible so long without me. But I'm back now honey." She continued hugging the case and gave it a lot of kisses while snuggeling it against her face. She had not yet noted the presence of Yamesh.

"You're lucky our CO doesn't understand you..." Cayne hissed in response to Pathfinder's unspoken conjecture, keeping his voice down and private with the drone. With no prying eyes laid on him as he and Pathfinder could detect, he replied with a quick PM to his flying partner.

Yes, she does look scary.

After the meeting, Cadence addressed the rest of the team and set them off to their individual stations. For Cayne, Cadence had requested his accompaniment with her to the command deck. His role of course as ordered by their commanding officer was overseeing communications; a logical and efficient job for Cayne since his side knowledge was within that field. More or less to do with eavesdropping granted, but task Cadence had set out for him was straight forward and thus doable without question.

"Understood." Cayne restrained the reflex to salute or refer to rank when he acknowledged Cadence's command; he caught on quick such duty bound traditions were easily ignored while aboard the S.E.U. Lightyear

While following Cadence's lead, they stopped in greeting to another team member by the name to Janos or "Tsar" as the man recommended he'd be known as. The man was certainly friendly for sure and Cayne himself had to admit if Janos was in fact here, then his earlier statement about being an expert demolition man was not to be underestimated. However Pathfinder seemed to lack some confidence in Janos after catching his manic behavioral tones. Cayne remained silent as the two conversed.

Upon reaching the command deck, Cayne separated himself from Cadence and made his way to his station. Finding a seat, he gently collapsed into it and was already making himself familiar with the console controls. Pathfinder had already positioned itself onto an open space at the stations and like Cayne, begun to implement itself with the system and coordinating with it's human counterpart whom seemed to have trouble interacting with such an advanced setup. Cayne was technically old school when he was last operating in the field, utilizing radios with knobs and keyboards in order to plug in coordinating commands and quickly switch through the known channels. What he had instead was a touch screen of intricate controls and graphical gestures. He became quickly stumped with such an alien concept.

Wait...It is part alien.

Feeling dumbfounded, he eyed Cadence to ensure she wasn't eyeing and judging his moment of ineptness. Luckily, Pathfinder proved to be more adaptive and thankfully supportive as the drone keyed the main functions. After getting used to the controls, he was almost feeling happier now that he was understanding how much more simple and varied the interface was as he was already jumping across several channels and queuing in on multiple outbound and inbound lines.

The Santerian had noticed the presence of the woman and he approached her with an angry look on his face. "Look what you did you fool! Now all this equipment is scattered all over! Some of it even damaged considering the force it landed with! Ugh..." He rubs his left temple with his three fingers and let's out a sigh. "I hope you perform better under mission circumstances." He beckons a nearby man in a uniform and points at the scattered items. "Get it all back in the boxes, and get that woman off this floor!" The man is taken aback by the sudden orders, but the look on Yamesh's face tells him not to argue, and he starts picking up the bits and bops.

Yamesh notices the woman's companion, a big bulky man. He beckons him over to a desk littered with all sorts of electronica. "Stellan Johansen, 30 years old, I'm guessing... Norwegian? I haven't fully explored the different people of Earth yet, or anything from Earth. Too boring of a species I'd say. Pretty useful for manual labor though. Maybe I'll read up on your history later, if I have an hour to spare." He looks over his shoulder at the woman on the floor. The man in the uniform is trying to talk her out of hugging her gun and getting up. "I do hope you show some more professionalism. Do you have any idea what these things cost!?" And he motions at all the small gadgets, chips and visors on the desk in front of him.

Janos gave Cadence a polite little nod before picking up the metal case again and briskly making his way to the shuttle bay. The sight that greeted the man was rather... out of the ordinary. A woman was more or less hugging what he could only assume to be a weapons case. Again he brushed his hair back with his fingers and shook his head while examining his surroundings. He deduced that the Santerian was the... Yamesh fellow he was looking for.

Though Janos had arrived in time to hear the comment about humans being useful for manual labor, still he chose to keep quiet for now and concentrate on making sure his gear had arrived. After a brief examination the explosives expert had procured the rest of his combat gear - a rather heavy looking suit that by first glance resembled an old bomb defusal suit, but only much heavier and better armored. It looked like something he'd be needing help getting in to.

Mirrah thought it strange. It seemed as if Commander Echo had looked in her direction, and she could've sworn that the commander had noticed her. Yet she had just continued with ordering those closer to her position, and informing another person of the arrival of another soldier, who was heading their way. Did she know of Mirrah's intent and decided to ignore her for the moment? Or was she simply that focused on the mission. Likely the latter, given how close it is to its start.

Still, since she was not addressed or given any order to go somewhere else on the ship, Mirrah followed Echo and her companion over to the command deck. They parted so that they could reach their appropriate stations. Once again, Mirrah walked over to a wall and stood there. She wasn't trying to hide, she was just finding to a spot to observe and/or ponder to herself.

She took some time to think to herself on what she had heard the mission was. It was a rather risky infiltration of the Dreshykk home world of Xan. One most likely to involve the team getting spotted by the enemy forces, and put into...into...ah! Yes. Put into a precarious pickle against powerful people that would possibly produce prolonged pain...Mirrah had gotten into the habit of thinking of alliteration at the strangest of times. In any case, such a risky mission just to get intelligence on the opposing forces...Mirrah was uncomfortable with that, but she supposed that Xan would house the kind of information that would help them greatly.

Mirrah continued to stand in place.

Echo sat there quietly awaiting their arrival at Xan when the ship's voice spoke over the intercom.

"You might want to get down to the shuttle bay , commander. It seems some of the team are not getting along."

Echo rubbed her temples realizing the chemistry and relationships between the team will need to be gradually built over time; but going to the lower decks was something she needed to do. When she got up she motioned toward the door then stopped when she noticed Mirrah leaning against the wall.

"Is there a reason why you are following me? I don't remember the council mentioning a Seer on this mission." She said, crossing her arms.

Meanwhile in the shuttle bay, a male human ship worker overheard Yamesh's comment about humans and approached him.

"Excuse me! Why are you criticizing her so harshly? You think we humans have it easy working with the likes of you? I'll just mention that comment to the commander. Maybe she'll shoot you down, alien!"

The man frowned at Yamesh.

On the command deck a female dreshykk approached Maxwel.

"Saturn...sorry to interrupt you but there is something I've found on my log report...It's...strange. There is an anomaly here at this point." She said pointing her index finger down on a clipboard. Can you determine what it might be? I know its going off course and I dont want you to get in trouble with the commander but it could be important." She said and smiled.

Maxwell glances over at dreshykk and flashes a smile at her."Listen, sweety. As much as I'd like to turn the ship around and head to that location, I have my orders, therefore I am unable to do as you request." He turns his head back to the controles and crosses his arms behind his head before glancing at the disappointed female before sighing and lifting a brow at her behind the shades."HOWEVER." He continues then."Should you bring this matter up with the commander herself and get a permission for it out of her, then I'd gladly move off the course." He states in a determined manner and lifts the shades from his eyes."I'm sure that if it really could hold some importance, you'll have no problem persuading Commander to check it out." He winks at her and lets his shades fall back down on his eyes. Cool as ice, at least in his own opinion.
