Sorry, I've been out inexcusably long. This is a formal drop. MrDidact, use Desert Vampire however you wish.
Forgive me all, but Im afraid I'll have to pull out. I don't wanna keep holding people up with spontaneous absences. Best of luck to you all amd I may read this and keep up with the story when I have time.
Todd, Jerry Thompson, and Riley Rhode

Naturally, not caring about skill or all the little things teachers strongly encouraged that got in the way of enjoying life, Todd went over to the entrance to the Pit, opting to look for a good fight in the arena. He swaggered over that way, with a false confidence he was used to putting up. Todd had been uncharacteristically quiet most of the day. He was actually just getting over a hangover he'd had after spending the last night downing cup after cup of beer from Jerry's wrist. At least he's good for somethin', Todd thought.

His suit was pretty standard, bare of any decorations, though it was sleeveless. The most notable difference between his suit and the example was that his was made of a material that was both elastic and durable, to facilitate his transformation into rock without tearing or hampering his agility, which was nothing special.

Jerry Thompson

Chit chatting with Riley was Jerry, sporting his signature green glasses. He'd left his labcoat in the locker room. He hadn't made any alterations yet, though he was sure he would later. The only notable deviation in his uniform was a miniscule spout over his wrist, a little boost to help him concentrate his aerosols into liquids until he could do it on his own. Then there was Riley, whose outfit was completely standard. Without any technology in the area, she was just nigh completely useless. She'd only come to chat with Jerry, who'd been drug along by Todd. She really had no interest in sparring, and doubted anyone would pick to fight her, seeing as she literally only knew Nikki and the people from breakfast, none of whom had been negative to her.

The pair were heading to play capture the flag. Group activities seemed to be something that the two would enjoy, without too much moderation or adult supervision. Jerry figured he had plenty to learn about his ability, but he simultaneously decided that the effort would be just as valuable any other day. Riley had no interest in sharpening her abilities, it just wasn't very interesting compared to the more athletic options.

Felix Karrde

Walking all alone was Felix. Today hadn't gone great. He would've done things differently for sure. He probably would've waited on Ethan before breakfast. He would've branched out during classes, and maybe he would've killed himself with a boomerang. He'd been part of the crowd that went to play capture the flag. After all, he wasn't particularly suited for sparring unless he was allowed to use a weapon. But, being in a more open environment would let him cut loose a little. Maybe even let him show off a bit.
The Desert Vampire - The Maximum Security Wing

"Desert Vamp, keep the blob busy!"

That, coincidentally, was the most difficult task he could've been assigned. Azar fired off several pistol shots that rang loudly through the entire wing, echoing against the strong concrete walls. The bullets were aimed at the bottom of the Growth's amorphous form, not to really damage him, but testing to see how much slime, if any, would burst off.

Not wasting any time after taking his shot, the Desert Vampire went running. A blast of wind pulled him into the air and threw him upwards, against the ceiling His abilities were pathetically mismatched against the thing from a combat standpoint. So he went off, flying through the hole that Polaris had created minutes before, seemingly retreating. Seemingly.

But then a massive amount of sand came back in through the ceiling, spilling in like an hourglass. Being blown in from the prison yard, several truckloads of sand came. In just a moment, an immensely powerful gust heaped the sand onto the Growth, smothering him. Not letting up, Azar kept pouring the sand onto the Growth, then commanding another wind to hammer against Sarco and the Behemoth, momentarily aiding Abaddon and the others. It was quite a strain, and in order to stay awake he had to let up on the two titanic fighters. Hidden within the pile of sand, he devoted all his strength to smothering The Growth.
Sorry I been out. But I'm back.
Feck. I dropped the ball on this act. Sorry, guys

Well, hope it gets along better there fox. I don't like 'love' at such a young age myself, but hey, thats my opinion. Also, welp, I guess Light's knocked out for awhile. Thats quite a bit of punishment to take all at once. Til she recovers and surprises everyone, anyway :P.

Let's be honest, it's a good idea. We're both unstable and I knew it was a bad idea from the start, but I have to hold my ground now.

And, yeah. RPing is great practice for writing short stories

Goodness, Fox! I hope the situation won't get any worse. I hope she's been able to find professional help, too. Friends are always good, but I've found that nothing helps these types of situations more than a good psychologist. If you'd be able to draw the logo that'd be great, though. None of the ones I've drawn are worth showing. No pressure though, I'd say that you have much more important things to do, right now.English, failing me. Can't... write... good English.

I know, man. Thanks, guys, but I'm good. We actually share about half a dozen serious mental disorders, which is one reason why we're so compatible, simply cuz we can relate a lot better than most people. For us in particular, shrinks don't really help because of frequent misdiagnosis and stuff, but when she leans on me, we get by pretty well. Like I said, it's pretty complicated, but that's why I've been MIA. Looks like I didn't hold anyone up, though, so that's a plus.

I actually moved back. I'm fifteen and she's sixteen. I promised that there'd never be anyone in her place, back when we were officially together, and I intend to keep that promise, even if she doesn't. Her life means more to me than my own actually. I should just write all this in one place sometime so I can link it or something.

The Desert Vampire - The Maximum Security Wing

Several other 'heroes' had arrived, and Azar was sure that the League would be sending in enough firepower to neutralize all the remaining threats. The majority of the wing's prisoners had escaped. Slouching his shoulders as he stood tall, Azar began to transform into a mass of sand. The trio of Sarco, The Behemoth, and The Growth were certainly anxious about the possibility of being recaptured, so he began to feed on them, gorging on their fear and anger and adding it to his own power.

With a powerful gust of wind blowing into the room from the doorway, Azar was nigh instantly taking flight through thw air, pushing as hard as he could and aiming his mass at the side of Sarco's face, striking with the force of a sledgehammer. After impact, his particles dispersed and blasted around, ricocheting off his face before Azar summoned another wind, using it to cycle around Sarco's face, attempting to make him choke after hopefully knocking the wind out of him.
