The update may or may not be up tomorrow. There's been a death in the family. Please continue to IC, the update will hopefully be up on Monday at the latest. The Northern European War will be incorporated into the main update. Rare is Portugal, don't fuck it up.

I rolled twice for the effects of Lincolns Call to Arms. The first roll was an 8, so like OTL it was quite successful in getting troops. The second roll was 1, so unlike OTL it caused much more widespread fury and led to the secession of all border states -- noting OTL that both Kentucky and Missouri had rival Confederate governments in exile in the South and Maryland didn't secede solely because Lincoln surrounded the state legislature with troops to ensure they didn't do anything rash.

Spots are opened in four cases:
-When a government is overthrown
-When a nation is annexed
-When a player resigns
-When a player is banned
If any of those things happen to the US or the person who plays it, you will be informed.

Anything. Treaties must be accompanied by an order to sign aforesaid treaty, unless in specific circumstances. Signing the Geneva Convention, for example, would not require a treaty order. When such a situation arises, I will inform you all.
