Vessel name: The Crucible

Vessel identification number: 17778-223

Vessel history: This vessel was created for one reason and one reason only; to "Purify" the galaxy of non-believers. There was once a large amount of these religious ships that roamed the galaxy, but The Crucible was, and still is, the most well armed of all the ships that were created for "Religious purposes." The crew members of every one of these ships were crusaders of a currently dead religion (besides the crew of The Crucible) Followers of this religion are called "Solarians." These Solarians were a powerful force until they were noticed by the Knights of Xanthous and promptly wiped out save for the Crucible which has obliterated all encountered Xanthous ships to date. This purge of the Solarians is called "The Supernova" by the remaining followers. Despite the wear and tear, The Crucible is still a formidable frigate class ship and though the Solarians are nearly wiped out, The Crucible continues to convert small groups of non-believers at a time.

Vessel occupation: Religious Frigate

Crew members:

Features: The Crucible packs a punch with powerful, solar-powered weaponry that manipulates the solar energy collected to launch concentrated light at enemy vessels that is equivalent to laser weaponry, if not better. The frigate has 20 lesser solar beam weapons that use stored solar energy from a large reservoir within the back of the ship. The Crucible's hardest hitting weapon cannot draw the needed energy from the reservoir to attack, it is the Solar Eclipse Cannon or SEC. This weapon cannot be used unless The Crucible is just relatively close to any star. As for armor, The Crucible is extremely reflective and the armor and hull are made of very heat resistant Iridium as well as other metals that allow the frigate to get closer to stars than most other ships. The frigate is not too sturdy otherwise but is extremely fast for a frigate. The Crucible has a very reliable boarding system for when the frigate is not close enough to a star to use the SEC, the Zealots and Enforcers can use their close combat expertise and powerful armor to overpower most other vessel's security. The Crucible has a kinetic shield powered by solar energy.

Solarian Religion:
The Solarians believe that stars are more powerful than any force in the universe. The Longest Day is said to be the home of their Gods, who reside within each sun. The Solarians believe that stars are simply the will of the Gods contained in a spherical shape, suspended in the galaxy. The reason the Solarians continue to crusade is because they believe that if not enough people pray and sacrifice to the Gods, then they will unleash their full power and engulf the galaxy in flame, killing all life. These Gods are called Catalysts.
Isaac helped unload some of the Lacrima from the boat's deck.
Isaac finished his portion of the hauling and sat for a rest.
Immediately he went to pull his mask up and realized it was not there, a grimace soon following this discovery
His mask had sentimental value, he didn't want to lose it.
But to get it back would be hard.
His face is known in Magnolia after the incident with the third guard getting away alive.
There would be a bounty for sure, but he could get in, get it and get out, right?
He quickly rushed to his room and grabbed his weapons.

Soon Isaac found himself sneaking through the back-alleys of Magnolia, trying to make it to the last place he saw his mask quickly and without being recognized.
His weapons were a dead giveaway with their unique curved tips, but they were so large he could not conceal them.
He was halfway there when he decided to take a break.
The mute man sat in a very short alley and took a rest.
Guards did not worry him too much, it was magic users in the city that did.
Phoenix Wing was the Brotherhood's main threat and by the looks of the ship and his Guildmates, they must've ran into someone powerful enough to contest.
He had to assume it was Phoenix Wing, them being the closest guild to object to the Ragged Brotherhood's raid on the island.
He sat for a while longer, he heard people chatting in the bar to his left and glass broke in a restaurant to his right, followed by angry shouts.
Isaac laughed, which was rare. It was rare to hear Isaac at all.
When his laughing subsided, he sat back against the far wall of the alley and watched the entrance of the alleyway intently as he rested.

Isaac nearly rolled his eyes when he was asked to join Selk at the shore.
Of course he cared about the mission, but he hated to be around Selk Sarvog.
It was Selk's intimate relationship with nature.
It was disgusting to say the least.
Isaac chose a spot far from any trees and Selk as well as Sylla.
He waited and waited for the shipment.

Isaac was starting to worry.
The Ragged Brotherhood was always swift with missions, even the more difficult ones.
His guild had ways of making things go their way, he knew that much.
Deciding to get up from his bed and leave his room, he wandered from the guild once again.
After his fiasco in Magnolia, he couldn't go back for a long while which made him frustrated.
So Isaac walked through the forest that surrounded the Brotherhood's territory.
No matter what, Isaac looked at the ground, straight ahead or up when in the forest.
The visions he'd received on the day he'd lost his mind made trees terrifying.
"Nature will regain it's former glory!
He shook his head to get the visions and the sentence from his head.
Isaac soon found himself at the shore, south of the Brotherhood's base.
He stepped through a bush that blocked his path, causing the bush to produce a loud rustling noise.
"Sarvog..." Isaac had always feared the sort of Druid.
Halfway through the bush, he stopped and simply waited, hoping he could wander away from this place without notice.
Just to clarify, the Ragged Brotherhood was there to unite the members of the island under the Ragged Brotherhood and take the lacrima. Also there were only 8 Ragged Brotherhood members on the island including Aeidus and Cordellia so it's not like an all out war.

Isaac was halfway through Magnolia when he was finally intercepted by the authorities in an alley that lead to another part of town. Adrenaline and fear fueled him. Isaac made swift motions with his hands, confusing the guards. The motions roughly translated to, from sign language to spoken word, "Caste Iron Pan."

If Isaac wanted to make his hand or a portion of his one of his limbs harder, he could do it on a whim, but if it was large scale like this, he had to use sign language. From stone to tempered steel of the highest grade, he had to say how tough he wanted the selected areas to be. At one point after he joined the Ragged Brotherhood, Isaac had tried diamond. This was a mistake and Isaac had found it out the hard way, falling unconscious for a few hours.

One of the guards advanced and demanded his name. Isaac stood a minute and stared at the man's stature. He was tall and beefy. But his head was small. After analyzing the man, Isaac jumped forward, his arms out wide. The guard barely had time to scream before Isaac brought his hands forward and clapped them against opposite sides of the guard's head. Gore splattered the walls of the alley he was in and the lifeless body of the headless guard collapsed like a tall tree after taking an axe to the base. Isaac didn't stop there, he leaped at the other guard who was to shell shocked to respond and suffered a worse fate. Isaac sent a punch straight into guard #2's chest and broke through his rib cage. Guard #3 was long gone and soon Isaac was as well, nearly to the other side of town, heading for the Ragged Brotherhood Guild Hall. It was at that moment that Isaac realized he had forgotten his mask outside the bar. Guard #3 had seen his face and there would surely be a bounty going on his head. Isaac sighed and continued to the outskirts of Magnolia, his torso and arms dripping with blood. He took the most secretive route he could and finally made it to the path that lead to Ragged Brotherhood Territory. He ran the path and didn't stop while making sure he was not followed. Now Isaac contemplated telling the Twin Enforcers of this incident. What would the consequences be? He'd never been in this situation, but he didn't like it. The guild didn't seem to be as busy as it usually was when he arrived, though it never was very busy having so few members compared to guilds like Phoenix Wing. Isaac found his way to his room in the Ragged Brotherhood's base and sat on his bed.
"I can't go back to Magnolia for a while then." He though and proceeded to sigh.

Isaac sat outside the bar near the outskirts of Magnolia still. He stroked the blade of his swords. Dull. He never used them, he never had to really. So they dulled and dulled. He pulled them from his belt and pulled his mask off. Bringing Avarice up to his neck he slid it across his throat, a man near him ran up to grab his arm and stop him. Isaac wrenched his arm from the man's grip and continued. The blade slid across his Adam's Apple, making an extremely loud metallic screech as the man watched, half terrified half confused. The fear of killing himself fueled Isaac's power, making his neck harder than steel. He used this method often to sharpen Avarice and Malice. Isaac stared at the man, a slight amount of anger in his eyes, the rest was pure horror. The combined screech of metal on metal and the mortifying stare Isaac gave the man forced him to back up and walk away at a quick pace.

The sound he produced could most likely be heard from a long way away, but Isaac didn't care, he was bored. As he sharpened Avarice he checked the edge of the blade by running his finger across it gently. As soon as he ran his hand across the blade and it cut him, he moved on to Malice, once again creating that annoying sound repetitively.

Soon people began to leave the bar to see what was creating the ruckus, including the bartender who promptly asked Isaac to leave. Isaac shook his head and continued without looking at the bartender. The bartender began to shout, "You'd better leave or I'll get someone who can make you!" To which Isaac responded in a way that the bartender did not expect. He stood and approached the bartender who was nearly as tall as Isaac. Pulling a small knife from his belt, he held it up to his own chest, right over his heart and pressed, immediately hardening the area over his heart. This fueled Isaac's power. Quickly after stabbing himself he grabbed the bartender by the jaw and hardened his hand. The Bartender grabbed Isaac by his elbow and tried to break his arm. Isaac hardened his whole arm and then began to crush the man's jaw slowly, mouthing to the man slowly, "Hurt?" The Bartender began to claw at Isaacs hand. Though Isaac was normally passive, the group of annoyed Bar rats, the threat from the bartender, and the knife he held over his own chest influenced his choices. Thus Isaac over did it. Yanking down quickly, Isaac broke the man's jaw. A gurgled screech escaped from the Bartender's gaping mouth and blood leaked from the top left and right sides of his mouth. The drunkards backed off and Isaac let go, but as the people began to back away Isaac stopped them with a gesture. Producing a paper and pencil from his bag, he wrote, "Tell anybody and I'll kill you all." It was a hollow threat, Isaac couldn't do that unless he really had to. Luckily the bar was near the outskirts and there were no witnesses other than the few people in the bar. The Bartender ran off after seeing the paper. This was Isaac's cue to leave the city.

Isaac grabbed his things and began to make a beeline for the other side of the city.
