In some ways, the guildfall was a blessing. It makes it harder for my original 2009 RPing to be found...

I've finally returned to the Guild. Many months of much RPing ahead.

A thousand things to be done; plenty motivation.

Been here on the guild since April '08, seen a lot of change but still love it. I've been on and off, I've GM'd fantastic projects and train-wrecks, it all comes with the territory. I once tried to make a YouTube ad for the guild because I'm slightly insane. In a weird place with the Guild right now, seems like so many names I knew are gone, but more than happy and ready to meet new people. Been writing casually for over a decade, a lot of that practice has been here. I have some small short sci-fi stories printed in anthologies but those are so heavily edited they don't even feel like mine any more.

When not on the Guild I'm most likely working, playing FFXIV or the Souls series or (insert recent must play video game).
Anyone with a passing interest in sci fi needs to read Saga by Brian K Vaughan.

@Darkmatter Hello old friend, its been a while. I don't think we've spoken properly since guildfall?

Hey what's up!

Its certainly been a few years.

I'm looking forward to getting back unit this! :)
Hey all!

I first joined RPG in 08 which feels like a lifetime ago!

I've been absent for a long time now, years, but my life is finally in a place where setting aside time to right and create in a community like this is on the cards!

I mostly used to work with NRPs especially sci fi, but I'm always open to new horizons.

Hopeing to make some new friends and maybe reconnect with old ones.

Feel free to ask me anything, and I'm glad to be back!

I'll have the post up tonight and it'll aim to move the story along quite a bit if I can.
I know I haven't been keeping this moving as quickly as we'd all have liked but I will keep plugging away at it guys! I don't wanna give up on this at all.

@Lutalica
That's completely fair, to be honest the last post was stale due to being forced to use a phone to write . Computer back in action, I'll try make some far more important exposition in the coming post.
I'll have my post up tomorrow. If Oliver leaves, Hector is calling dibs on his share.

Awesome, I may move things along again soon, if people are still willing to post as quickly!

Other than the classic 'we don't need you anyway' which is a fundamental of reverse psychology and I'd argue one of the most effective baiting tactics of all time.

This.

Not to mention I am playing Eolas as a character. He is a teacher, not a forceful boss, he is trying to persuade with coin. If oliver so wishes to leave then Eolas isn't going to force him otherwise merely try to convince him.

If you want oliver to leave then by all means!
I will post, just finding time to do so without a computer is tough.
Winchester you can take part for sure! I'm always happy to have players add world pieces! I just meant I wanted to read it again to finalise! Feel free to start posting.
The squabbling had gone on very well long enough now at thus stage, thought Eolas. Rocking back and forth in the small boat, he began to grow a little impatient. A man of great patience, something which went with his job as a teacher, even Eolas was physically unsettled and wanted to just get going.
"Enough Oliver. If you want out then leave us at the docks, but I do not have time to dilly-dally. I asked for you with reason, with an informed suggestion from a previous employer of yours."
Satisfied that he had tried to quiet the situation, Eolas saw Bakk remove the firm grip he had had on the wirey knight's shoulder.
"Let's row back." declared the scholar solemnly.

As they rowed back to dry land Eolas noticed Hector was visibly unnerved by the movements of the boat. Of course, he thought to himself. Hector is from the desert. How strange it must be for him.
Minutes later they rocked back onto the pier and moored the boat. Tipping the vessel's owner again, Eolas peeked around the corner of the dock wall alongside them, just as two Ulla strode into view.

Laughing to himself slightly he looked at oliver again.
"Leave sir knight if you will. Something tells me that you won't."
"And you," he said to Hector "our sunkissed companion, I hope you do better with spiders than you do with water!" chuckled Eolas.
With that, he gestured for the party to climb aboard the Ulla, thier hired and willing mounts.
Making posts from phones takes forever. 300 words in and it felt like it was 2000 . It'll be up today sometime though!
