When no one responded, the Councilor put away his data tablet. "Well, you all have your teams. The training simulations should be in the systems, just load them up." With that, the Councilor went and sat down near the entrance to the training room.
My internet lately has been working as well as if I've been using a cow to plug in my router. I'll put up another IC real quick to get you guys started. I'm honestly not sure when I'll be able to be on for an extended period of time, though I will still attempt to get on regularly every night. I apologize.
I didn't want to jump up since I haven't really been accepted as part of the plan or crew. I made an ass of myself and stormed off, so...
I haven't been posting because I don't really have anything to do at this point except wait.
The Councilor nodded towards Colorado after the argument between him and Virginia ended. "This mission will involve two infiltration teams. Team One will consist of Colorado, Alabama, Nevada, and Maine. Team Two will be Virginia, Georgia, and California. The objective is to take down a weapons manufacturing facility. Team One will infiltrate the facility, but will need Team Two's help in get in." He tapped a button on his data tablet and a hologram of the facility appeared in front of them, created by a projector in the ceiling of the room.

"Team Two will be dropped off a few klicks off from this outpost." A small tower to the south of the main facility highlighted with a red glow. "You three on Team Two will disable the security sensors monitoring air traffic over the southern fence. Once the sensors are disabled, Team One will fly a Pelican in, following stealth protocols, and land within the perimeter of the facility." A red Pelican flew in low over the fence and treetops and landed in a clearing roughly two klicks from the complex. "Nevada will be flying the Pelican, so those of you on Team One better hope he likes you guys. Joking aside, once inside the facility, you need to figure out how to cause the machines inside to malfunction beyond repair. If you are unable to remain undetected and need to go loud, make sure the complex is leveled. I know, big change of tone, but it is crucial. We still aren't sure how you are going to get into the main building, but I'm sure something will present itself. Of course, you wouldn't be you if we held your hand every step of the way, would you? Now, we have training simulations set up for both teams. Are there any last minute questions?"
I would like to again apologize for my being busy lately. Things should smooth out soon. Generally, every other weekend I will be busy however, such as this coming weekend. I will more than likely not be on but I will try my best to stay on. I apologize for all inconveniences.
As the grenade blew up the Warthog and the simulation ended, Nevada decided to make sure the others weren't busy killing each other with the training equipment. Once he got back in the main room, he poked his head out the door and looked down the hallway. Once he saw the Councilor walking towards the room, he quickly got back inside and told the others. "Hey guys, our favorite person is almost here, so let's ge- attention on deck!"

The Councilor walked into the room. "Good evening you all, I'm glad you're all here. I've got someone else coming in in a minute, but we'll get to that when we do." He started to begin the briefing, then realized he hadn't responded to the Freelancers' attention. "As you were." As everyone relaxed, the Councilor retrieved his data tablet. "As you all have more than likely guessed by now, we have a mission for you. I will not give too many details now, but I can tell you this will be a stealth mission consisting of two teams. There will be a team taking down a high value target that will be essential for the other team to take their objective. If anyone has questions, please ask them now. If not, I will divide you into your teams and begin your training routines."
I swear, everyone piles their damn work on me. Posting now, I'm sorry all
I've got a few things to do so I'll post again in a bit. There will be another post tonight though
Nevada recorrected enough to keep from losing control and to stay on the 'road', which was nothing more than a dirt track in the simulated countryside town. He gripped the steering wheel and leaned back into the seat as far as he could. Most of the others called this the "Drive Zone", when Nevada would block out everything except his vehicle, the objective, and whatever was between him and the target. "You're on." Virginia shot ahead and Nevada pushed the vehicle to the same speed. He was slowly managing to catch up and, once close enough, switched his SMG to semi-auto and began shooting at Virginia's tires. Nevada grinned, thinking he had won this round. He also wondered when the Councilor would show up, he had called them all to the training room almost fifteen minutes ago, and it wasn't like the Councilor to keep them waiting.
