Sovi3t, I'm currently accepting a few new partners for some roleplaying cravings I have!

A few admin points

- Platform wise, I'm interested in writing either on here or on discord!
- I'm eastern timezone, my schedule is open but I will update you when anything changes.
- Length wise, my style can be described as dynamic. I usually average 3-6 paragraphs however can do more or less depending on the scene and circumstances around the story.
- I'm looking for a 18+ partner due to NSFW elements in my roleplay!

Without further ado, the current cravings I have!

i) Craving a cop story, two detectives solving cases together. Probably a detective couple. We take turns making cases.
ii) Something that has politics and spycraft in it.
iii) Always open to anything in the slice of life genre.
iv) Sci-fi; Mainly a grand adventure
v) Adventuring fantasy medieval duo - or perhaps something involving kingdoms and politics plus war.
vi) Post-Apoc, interested in coming up with a world>
vii) GMing most worlds

Only genre limits I have are:

- Superhero (Hard No): Can't really write nor vibe with this genre tbh
- Supernatural (Preferably no): If the right idea/plot comes, I may be interested but other than that, I usually prefer not to write supernatural ones.
- Fandoms - A few fandoms I may be interested in, but usually I prefer to write my own original worlds and characters.

First time posting a 1x1 ad on here but I'm looking for additional projects to pick up on. A few quick facts about me

- I do prefer to add smut into my roleplays, ratios and other smut details can be talked about in our DMs
- With that being said, I am open to the roleplay being overly story focused or overly ERP focused depending on my partner
- Timezone EST, Schedule is usually free
- I do prefer writers who are casual to advanced in terms of writing style, and can crank out paragraphs easily.

Accentuate The Positive: A Fallout Roleplay

Dr. Rico Valdez

Adventure.

The Mojave wasteland changed in many ways over the past year. Gone are the days where bear and bull would dictate what was wrong and what was right. Gone were the days people questioned who to support and who to run away from. Now? The question is rebuilding. The Courier has a character is interesting and mysterious as rumours fly, as he sits on-top of his throne - The Lucky 38. Watching over life and his new people. People who look to rebuild, look to finally expand and finally breath. They can breath knowing that the future, for now is at-least certain, is guaranteed

Yet this time of change and rebuilding brings questions. Questions that sometimes can’t be answered with a simple response or reply. Books won’t help and talking won’t help either. The only way to quench these questions? Through adventure.

Rico Valdez, a thirty something doctor hailed from one of the most prestigious “doctor” families in the wasteland, the Valdez’s. Their compound was known to be one of the best places to get treated, and they were often preferred by the rich/elite since the Follower’s were flooded with everyone else in-between. The compound was a ways off and provided privacy to people who needed it. You had rich families who often wanted their kids off chems. To perform abortions and have no trace of that procedure being done. Some just wanted facial work done and to be reborn again.

Yet unlike his counterparts, Rico didn’t desire to stay in the compound. You see he’s always had that desire for adventure, desire to see the world and shape the world beyond the walls of the compound and beyond the surgeon bed. For many years he grappled with his inner desires and thought about them in-depth. He at first though it would be a phase where he could just grow out of, shake off. But as time went on he yearned for that thirst in adventure, he read books, saw the courier - a unknown figure rise to nobility and power. He heard about the tales of his feats and his conquests and his thirst for adventure only grew bigger.

This all came to a head one day where he talked with the family’s patriarch, and Rico’s uncle - Sammy. Sammy was a stout man who wanted to keep the Valdez name alive and engrained in the annuals of history. Now, some of the Valdez clan has expanded out before but they eventually come back to the compound. Or they pay tribute to the compound once and awhile. Sammy ruled the family and the compound like a dictator. He did have people’s interest in minds and understood feelings, plus made sure no one did anything that they didn’t want to do. But on the topic of “leaving the compound” his stance was clear, unless you have a good reason to? You ain’t going.

At first Rico understood that stance, he even supported it. The wasteland is a cruel place right? Who would want to explore it? What is there to gain? But as time went on his desire and passion to see the world outside the metal walls of the compound grew. It reached a breaking point one night. Rico packed his bag and grabbed his trusty tri-beamed laser rifle. He looked up to his uncle and simply asked him “May I leave to explore, get it out of my system uncle?”

The conversation went..rather civil then Rico would of thought. Sammy had noticed Rico’s increasing uneasy behaviour and desire to explore. Like Rico, he thought it would be a phase and Rico would come around but.. it wasn’t. He debated with other older heads of the family internally for weeks and weeks before deciding, there and then he’d let Rico leave. His reasoning? He wouldn’t want Rico to runaway and disgrace the Valdez name, nor to incite unease in the compound. So he decided to let him leave, but Sammy told Rico that if he had done anything to disgrace the family legacy, to disgrace the Valdez name? He’d personality fund a hit squad to eliminate Rico.

With that statement, Rico grabbed some key items. His gun, a back with various survival tools and gear, and a medical doctors bag as well as some chem and stimpacks if needed. From that day forward, he’d fulfill his desire to see the world, to learn more about the world but most of all, attempt to quench various questions brewing in his brain.

He went by Dr. Valdez to many, and to the people he knows? He went by Rico. It didn’t take long until he got himself in with a promising group, that planned to head east. To build and fulfill the courier’s wishes of another free-state, of another city. Finally, Rico could taste the life of an adventurer

To understand where I am from, one must assume a place where the law and the order was given by a one man, a tyrant per say. A tyrant who heeded no religion or organized group's doctrine. Instead, he heeded his own will and his own power.

I was born into a fort, of a well-known bandit known as Grozak "The Fearless". My mother another fellow bandit who my father fell in love with, I don't remember much about her, however she was there with me during my early days and brought me up. Regardless as a kid I wandered around a fort, with other bandits. A few kids were seen in the fort, but I really didn't play or do anything of fun nature that much. Most of my childhood was me learning how to read and write, and something my father insisted on.
However, my first taste of actual bandit action came when I was merely fifteen years of age. I was to assist my father with an ambush that was to take place on the main road, leading to one of towns that was a few days away from the capital. We had roughly twenty-five bandits in various ages, gear, and combat stature, I, was youngest in the raiding group. You see, at the time my view of the world was shaped upon books and whatnot, so I in the back of my head knew that well... what we were doing was immoral and illegal. But my dad Grozak thought, like many more bandits would fall in love with the gold and the raw intensity the fight would bring. But the opposite happened. The raid occurred roughly at one in the morning. Our group got the jump on the traders and their hired guards. They were a tough fight, but we overwhelmed them in power and strength. After that? It got brutal in nature. Women and Children were separated and escorted to the fort, they mainly became slaves and whores from what I saw. While the men? They were executed one by one, mainly through a firing squad of archers in our company. My father at the time thought it would be an experience that would harden me, but also provided reinforcement by the goods we obtained through this raid. Pieces of armor, food, jewelry, and other valuable goods were obtained from this raid. But for me and my limited understanding of the world through reading books and the news, I knew the lifestyle at hand wasn’t the one for me.

Planning to escape was somewhat of a daunting task to say at least. They were no books that told you how to escape from a bandit fort. Plus, the nearest city was a day’s trek by foot. They’re was a village nearby, but the locals would easily have identified me and probably killed me, since they were aware of me being Grozak’s offspring. Yet fate however was on my side. One eventful night, we were planning a raid on an armed caravan, mainly transporting wine and food for a lord’s feast that was occurring in the city. We arrived too the caravan, at first facing little resistance at all. An armed merchant and a retired veteran. Little as we knew however, as we began to pick apart the shipment we had entered a trap. A group of riders and a few foot soldiers sprung out of no where and assaulted our raiding party. To put it in the most reasonable way possible, it was pure chaos. I managed to get on a horse and bolted the other direction that I came from, I could in the distance hear the hollering of the raiding party’s remaining fighters trying to call me back, but it was to no avail. I rode towards the city, aided by the horse, and arrived, hungry and tired. The city guard promptly threw me in jail as I awaited trail.

The case against me was a interesting one, one that set my life up one can say. You see I was sixteen, a few months away from turning seventeen at the time. The justiciar was presented with evidence from both sides, one was a noble fighting my case and another, a noble who was apart of the crown for the city. The case went back and forth, with my age but also my loyalty and my relationship to my father being asked. However, frankly due to my age, my statement given to the justiciar and my desire to reinvent myself I was, given a second chance at life. Once I was given the status of a freeman, I pursued the art of blacksmithing and spent my time honing the craft. I have traveled outside of the city walls, and a fear of being ambushed does linger with me at times. However, I haven’t had any encounters.

Once obtaining my proficiency in smiting, I decided to float around city by city. I became an experienced tradesperson/a wanderer. Keeping my self in shape. I do at times wonder what has become of my father’s once great and feared bandit gang and desire one day, with a group of soldiers or likeminded individuals to back me and to help me figure out what has become.

◼ Knowledge of the art of battle| Growing up in a bandit fort, he knows his way around a bow, a two handed or one handed weapon or a shield, and can easily handle himself in battle

◼ Web of Connections | His time as a smith has resulted in Jartod knowing a lot of noblemen, loyalty and a few big name merchants, he also knows people who can get thing's done.. if needed

//SKILLS:

◼ Master Smith | Jartod is regarded as one of the best Smith's in realm, he can deal with almost any material and honing it into a nice piece of craftsmanship

◼ Potions, Poisons and Ointment - The rare thing Jartod picked up from his mother's line of work was here alchemy know how. He can brew various varying degrees of ointments and has a understanding of most fauna in the region
//LIMITATIONS:

◼ No Magical Ability | Jartod doesn’t at all have any sort of magical ability or skill needed to be inclined in the arcane.

◼ Disliked in the country | Being apart of Grozak’s clan, many villages in the countryside view Jartod as scum and someone keen to exploit them, thus he prefers to stay in the city or at least in area’s his clan hasn’t operated or raided.

//WEAKNESSES:

◼ Mead and Ale | Jartod somewhat enjoys mead and ale…in other words he regular keeps a bottle on him and sips it like any person would sip water

◼ Light Sleeper| Jartod at most gets six to eighthours of sleep, but the slightest of noise can wake him up
