Hey sorry I still haven't been able to get a post up! I've been busy with summer assignments and registering for school. I should be able to write something up today though.
Haha man, there's always so much drama here. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've been caught up with summer assignments and registering for school. I think I'm the baby of the group o.o. Anyway, I'll probably get a post up today.

I thought this was supposed to be a relatively community run RP, so having everybody shout out their suggestions should be a good thing, whether or not people agree with them. No one is trying to be the GM, but people have opinions and whatnot. Personally, I like reading both long and short posts.
I know! I was wondering if Stephanie was going to respond since my character spoke last. But I guess that's not happening haha
I'm here too, I've just been waiting for...hm. Actually I have no idea what I was waiting for anymore. But I know I was waiting for something haha
Posted from phone at 3am, hopefully it's not too horrible.

@Roman You come up with the strangest, most entertaining things to say XP

Stepping into the tunnel, Nessa followed the others and quietly listened to their exchanges, not adding much to the conversation herself. She was able to pick up a few more names, which was nice, but names never did much good without use. Figuring that she'd eventually get to know them better, she committed their names to her memory anyway.

At some point she glanced back over her shoulder, wondering about the strange elf that had finished off the World Breaker, the one who seemed to desire trouble. He seemed interesting, if anything. Definitely odd. As for the others, Nessa didn't quite know what to make of them. The Prince seemed arrogant, but that was expected and definitely not worth someone's assassination attempt. What was it that earned him a spot on someone's hit list? The rogue elf seemed nice enough. Nice was deceiving though. So were thieves. The lizard was beyond comprehension, and for some reason he just seemed unsettling to her—it might have been the teeth. The nymph and the giant insect were awe inspiring, especially together. The minotaur was bold, confident, and strong, like green eyed elf. Nessa couldn't resist the temptation to profile her companions. They had saved her life multiple times now, and she had decided to stick with them. Maybe it was just a whimsical decision though. As they walked, she continued to ponder these thoughts.

The tunnel was cramped, the larger beasts clearly had a difficult time squeezing in. It was poorly lit as well, the way she liked it. Her comfort was short lived of course. Soon the bull of a man charged forward and warned of hundreds of guards awaiting their arrival. From inside the tunnel, it was impossible to tell if it was day or night outside, and when they finally exited, Nessa was blinded by the sun. Oh how she hated the sun. It felt searing hot on her skin, but it would not start to do any damage for a while. Her pupils pinned in order to adjust to the immediate change in lighting, revealing her stormy gray irises for the first time since she'd been imprisoned. For a few moments she was blinded by the burning brightness of the outside, but she ignored it for the time being; there were supposedly hundreds of men trying to kill them, and it was hardly a time to be stumbling around like a fool.

Hearing the commotion to her left, Nessa sprinted forward diagonally to the right before stopping a decent distance away. Seconds later, the colored spots disappeared from her vision and it was clear that there were definitely not 300 men attacking them. Either way, she drew her crossbow, and took aim. She had managed to outrun the few guards that decided to pick off the smaller ones, but they were still pursuing her, trying to catch up to her now that she'd stopped. Nessa killed the first and closest one with ease, her bolt piercing through his armor and faint hints of poison slowly permeating throughout his body. She counted her shots in her head: five total, one arrow per person. Her precision did not fail her even in her weakened state. Shorus, Rin, and the beast-bug had done a decent job keeping most of the horde away from the exit so the others could still slip out into freedom. As the rest of the group started to make it past the guardsmen and take off, Nessa joined them, deciding to keep their pace instead of running ahead and making herself an outlying target.

"Two days of travel? A horse would have been nice," she said, mostly to herself.
To be fair, I don't think Steel was even keeping track of the OOC stuff since he is already busy and wasn't planning on posting in the first place. He just needed a reason to keep his character occupied for a long time until he was free again. Or at least I think so. It wasn't intentional.
I'll get a post up later tonight! I think Shorus' wrecking ball qualities are lovely haha, always exciting.
Posted, but I don't know... Medical knowledge was not in her bio, so I can totally take that part out if it seems wrong or something o.o. I think Nessa will probably stick with the group too

Nessa turned her head away as the drunkard agitated the warrior, not wanting to see him get slaughtered “Oh god, everyone here must be suicidal. Or have an unquenchable thirst for blood”

She expected it to be over quickly, but she didn’t hear the expected screams of agony from the blonde pirate. An elf had attacked the World Breaker, that much had been evident, but did it do any damage? As the green vapor dispersed, her hope was lost; it barely made a scratch. The elf must have put everything he had into that attack, and fell onto the ground, clearly spent.

Her arrows would do nothing but bounce off, even if she aimed for a weak point. Nessa saw no other options, she’d just have to slip past him. Slinging her weapon on her back, she crouched into a running stance. Glancing over her shoulder, she saw the beastly arthropod relieve himself of his burden, and knew he would attack next.

Her burst forward was perfectly in sync with 9’s attack, and she was able to sprint past both of them without notice. Nessa briefly considered helping, but what could she do? She wasn’t trained for combat. Everything she ever did was one sided. She killed people who couldn’t fight back even if they tried. And in the even that she was caught, Nessa would run away. Call it cowardice if you want to, but it earned her a living. Even if she did want to help out her provisional companions, she couldn’t.

Now ahead of the group, she waited for the fight to end, wincing every time the man landed a hit on the beast. Without a clear line of vision, Nessa couldn’t make sense of what had happened, but it seemed like another elf had taken over to deal the final blow.

A surprising sense of guilt came over Nessa, as she saw how badly damaged the others were. She wasn’t responsible. But she also wasn’t helping. Still spinelessly hiding under her own magic, she watched as the half elf tried to establish order and assist the heavily wounded.

As they started moving again, she lessened the intensity of her veil, so she could at least make eye contact. No point in completely removing it though, if trouble still lay ahead. The minotaur, Shorus as it seemed, found a medicine cabinet, and she finally had her chance to contribute. ”I might know a thing or two. No promises though,” She opened the cabinet and sighed. She could only recognize a few simple pain killers and gauze. Nothing that would dramatically alleviate the pain of serious injuries. She had no idea what ailed the nymph, much less what would ease her suffering.

Picking out a blue bottle, she opened the lid and sniffed it. Most apothecaries sold a common pain remedy using a certain type of blue lily that was particularly invasive in the Plains. Reassured by it’s flowery scent, she downed a bit of the liquid before holding the bottle up toward the group, “This should help a bit with the pain, if anybody wants it. It’s not very strong, but it might help. There’s also some gauze in here if you want to wrap up anything,” Picking up a few more bottles and jars, she tried identifying any other useful substances. As she rejected several unidentifiable substances, Nessa mentally cursed herself for spending more time on poisons than health potions. She knew antidotes too, but a standard medicine cabinet like this would not contain the more potent concoctions, specifically those she knew some of them desperately needed.

“This salve has a cooling and numbing agent, I think, not very strong though,” Nessa lifted a small spherical container filled with a minty cream, then another corked bottle, “And this is just a cleansing oil…”

After the others had taken what they needed, she found a small bag in the cabinet and filled it with the mentioned substances.

Suddenly the prince spoke up, fully clothed now. He offered his input, and a sense of direction for them. Nessa was skeptical of his words, but she could not refuse him as he revealed a secret passageway out of the putrid dungeon. Whether they liked it or not, they all needed each other if they wanted to survive.
