"…the prize pool is already reaching dozens of millions of cash units, and that is in addition to the "special reward" organizers have promised. The battle for the grand prize is going to be extremely heated, since the amount of teams joining in the competition is increasing with great speed…"

Important Short Notes:
-Virtual Reality combat is the focus of the RP; It's like real combat, except with more accepted breaks from the reality for the purpose of fun, like ability to shoot lasers from your eyes if that catches your fancy, rocket jumps, super speed and no actual dying. Well, until the drama starts...
-Uses a slightly modified Mutants and Masterminds system; Still, it'd be RP-heavy, with dice rolls not being a 100% focus of the RP.
-Tournament itself is inspired by competitive cybersports (Counter-Strike, Quake 3 Arena, MOBAs, etc), so a certain degree of cybersport influence can be expected in the RP.
-Would prefer to keep the RP itself on a collaborative edit software for fast replies, quick typo correcting and hopefully certain degree of posting speed increase during the character interaction. The site that I'd use for that would be titanpad.com.
-Can allow and would encourage epicness. Not in the players, but in their virtual avatars (which would take most of the spotlight anyway).
-More information later if the RP gets enough interest.

Background:
Uploaded Consciousness games are on a rise. The concept is new enough to provide entertainment to watchers and players yet mature enough to have solid competitive foundation and entire internet sites designed to work with building competitive and non-competitive UC avatars for the players by request. Some players even design the avatars themselves and exploit their abilities on the field as one of the best in class.

UCT (Uploaded Consciousness Tournament), an official tournament held by the developers of UCPL (UC programming language) and UC tech, sponsored by dozens of big companies and loud names from across the globe, a very prestige event, with high stakes and incredible skill and wit requirements is a popular attraction among millions of people all around the world. A clan of players is forged to take on the high stakes of the UCT, a team that would fight till the victory is achieved against the tournament favorites, the black horses and the wildcards.

-Uses a slightly modified Mutants and Masterminds dice based system and while I'd be using it a lot during RP, the character interaction would be main focus there (hence the post in General Interest Checks instead of tabletop). Character sheets would need to be made, system to be learned and dice to be rolled. On the upside, I have an entire chatroom of people ready to explain the system to whoever may be interested, so don't worry about that part much.
