Bio

I am the most nonsensical and weird person ever. I update like a maniac, read romantic fanfiction about video game characters, have an fanatical obsession with checking my email, create random characters that I never use for anything and sometimes wish that I had an alternate universe wand/portal thing so that I could meet my favorite characters from stories. I also discovered that the post by post forum thing works really well for my favorite kind of stories, medieval fantasy (i swear, one day, when I am rich and famous, I am going to get a scientist to invent edible medieval fantasy and fill an entire swimming pool with it so i can literally drown in it)

An ancient evil called Ecopis has slowly been spreading from the furthest corners of the land, possessing and corrupting the hearts and minds of the people and turning once peaceful places into a demon's playground. We need loyal questers to journey forth and open the light gates to vanquish the Escopis. There is currently a notice being sent across the land telling potential heroes to meet in the town of Verinn at the fountain square at noon on a certain day.

There are nine of these mystical light gates scattered across the land:

Serpent's Gate of Adelios Valley: A junglelike valley with eerie purplish red/green hues of darkness and home of the snake seer tribe, a group of gypsies and healers who can communicate with serpents.

Floria Gate of the Forest of Time: A forest where time fluctuates and is as unpredictable as the wind itself. The trees are millennia old and impossibly tall while the ground's wild grasses are almost waist length.

Aquarian Gate of the Deep Ruins: The deep ruins are only accessible through a magic rock tunnel that leads deep underneath the ocean floor and into these crumbling white marble and tile buildings. Inside, there is a powerful enchantment that keeps certains sections from being flooded with black seawater. There are merfolk who guard the place with green/blue/purple, scaly skin and gills on their necks; they can breathe and walk in water or on land.

Blood Gate of Zephyr's Pass: This gate lies beyond Zephyr's pass and within a canyon, a desertlike place where the ground and water are permanently stained dark blood red. No creatures live there and it is completely void of life.

Dragon's Gate of Mystyl Caves: Located underground, this is a maze of seemingly neverending tunnels, all filled with a strange greenish hued mist. The mist causes minor short term memory loss after long exposure and people that are more sensitive to it will become disoriented and dizzy or ill. The deepest and darkest caverns are said to be the homes of the dragons themselves.

Faerie Gate of Aeoli mountains: In these snow capped peaks, live the faeries, in a hidden grotto where it is made green and summerlike due to their magic. They guard the gate and are surprisingly ferocious fighters.

Heart Gate of the Rift Plains: Similar to the canyon beyond Zephyr's Pass, this land is devoid of life. It is nothing but an unending rocky, gray plain that is said to lead to the end of the world.

Luna Gate of Serenity Falls: These waterfalls are in the center of a small wood that is always a cloudless nights and the sound of the water is said to produce melodies so pure that the wicked will be lulled into an endless sleep should they hear it.

Luck Gate of the Fate Sorceress's Castle: This ominous, dark indigo stone castle is at a cliff overlooking the black ocean. The Fate Sorceress lives there and if you can produce three items of magical power, she will show you glimpses of your future fate.
depends on my schedule but I might be in as well
There IS one I know of but it's full.
Ronin wrinkled her nose, confused. She was sure she hadn't left a trail for them to follow. Unless they had other methods of tracking. Intriguing. She would have to look into that bit later. For now, the questions had come.

Ronin listened to the Qun, Vinali, as she spoke of spilt blood, a hard edge to her voice that contained both raw strength and something suspiciously similar to sadness. This was also intriguing but not the problem at hand. When Vinali asked Ronin why she had interrupted the execution, Ronin's eyebrows rose and she smirked ever so slightly.

"Apart from wanting to give Lord Jade a hell of a time, i'm afraid the prisoner was not in fact guilty of any of crimes he was accused." Ronin started counting off on her fingers. "Lets, see... two counts of treason, one count of conspiring against the 'king,' three counts of harboring stolen goods and so on. It's a bit of a long story but the short version is this. His name is Sebastian Carrow. His brother, Nathan was one of us. He was the one who was hiding stolen goods for us. He died a few months ago from an illness and Sebastian took possession of all his things. Of course, a few days ago those goods were discovered in his house. He was immediately convicted and sentenced to death on the spot without even getting a trial. Sebastian was unaware of his brother's underground work beforehand though. Can I assume i'm not the only one who finds this unfair?" Ronin paused, the anger was beginning to show in her voice. She took a deep breath.

"As for what we're doing with Sebastian, he's in another place right now, both recuperating and being told about his brother's work. I'm going to speak with him personally later. You should know that this isn't the first time something like this has happened."
I have an editor that might allow me to make a map, but the problem is it'd take a while to finish.

If you like, I could create a recruiting interest check. It'll be up to you though, Aries. I have a few ideas of what I can do with my editor, people seem to like banners, right? So - maybe we can work with that for the title and throw in some basic information.

Thank you, Monster! For the map and the interest check! It's okay if it takes a while. Patience is a virtue after all.
Well, if you can't get a map, just describe your plans or better yet, leave them a mystery and keep us guessing what your character's going to do next.

Is that ine good to work with? Or too much water?

I agree with ultikana about the mountains but what program is that? Is that a map editor?
I lack access to a reliable paint tool.

WHY CRUEL FATE!? WHY!?
Alright, I will try to beef it really quick. My apologies.

Just improvise a map if mine doesn't work. All you need to know is that the city is in a mountainy area and has walls around it. The rest you can make up.
That is an actual URL?

I tested it myself and yes it is.
