In the new story there are specific enchantments or weapons that are classed on how much damage they can deal to demons
Unique items, weapons or enchantments have a few that are strong against demons
S-rank : Exorcism - Rare and extremely powerful enchantment similar to purge, its powers are so extreme that it can end up killing humans as well, this is a last resort and is only given to extremely strong or powerful elites ranking within the top hundred strongest in the world... although powerful like purge its effectiveness is all in how it is used
A-Rank : Purge - A unique enchantment and sometimes also made into the form of a material or poison. This is said to completely wipe out a demon's powers. It will defeat even the strongest of demons if it hits them enough times, while it kills weak demons against demons with unique abilities it is not a guaranteed kill so its effectiveness is up to the user
B-Rank : Demonbane - A special material that hinders demon regeneration and in general will kill most C-Rank and lower demons, but not the best idea for use against ArchDemons and Overlords
C-Rank : Enchanted Weapons or items have the strength to defeat most normal demons and is rather useful in general
D-Rank : Any normal weapon or item can be useful against normal demons but in general takes specific attacks or a lot of attacks to be effective
Currently the hero just has a sword, and you must not forget they also have the power to use magic as well so it not like these items are the only methods

In my ranking system the C ranks can fight 1,000s of normal humans so they are not that weak, even if S rank can fight 1,000s of them. A rank can only fight 100s of them. F rank is a normal human although there can be lower ranks for cripples and weaker species. And babies. They don't bother to get ranks though unless part of some funny gag. S ranks aren't even found on a lot of worlds so there might be one per every 10 or so planets at most. If they are on a planet they could probably conquer it if they felt like it, given that all the inhabitants are only F rank. The main heroes of one of my stories are S rank but there's higher ranks such as the one right above them called Legendary that one of their main opponent is.
That's some academy allowing studies to get ribs broken.
in the battle for rankings they allow anything but killing your opponent...
and the academy works in teams and each team must have at least five people
1. A captain which happens to be our hero, the academy chooses captains from anyone with leader potential though some of them get to decline this offer in order to just be a second
2. They have to have at least one mage in their group and so the academy also has different classes for different roles and by classes I mean classes not as in job classes...
3. The team must have at least two other members with at least one of them being a guide since it no use being a team if you have no one with a sense of direction which was taught in the first day so everyone would understand why they needed a guide
4. This team of four must have at least one veteran who is either retired, a former graduate who became strong but no longer has a team, or they elite teams who are so strong when graduating that they do not need a veteran which is a special exception
Currently as things are the hero is currently C-Rank, the girl who beat him is also C-Rank, the girl who happens to be his mage is D-Rank and still learning, the guide is a half-beast(mistaken for a demon) who got given special permission to attend the academy but is the hero's responsibility which lead him to have to pay the last of his ten silver coins due to the kid being hungry and eating ten lunches during the break period. One silver coin gets one good lunch, copper and bronze coins are used on the streets, gold coins are for the really expensive food and stuff or weapons etc...
Currently the hero is at five coppers... and they currently don't have a veteran yet his still going to join them, right now his just watching them from the background like some weird stalker
Yeah, it's definitely best he doesn't use full power to kill the first wave. The rest wouldn't like that very much.
he can already beat the other three on his own right now already...
1. With gravity and time his too fast for the Demon Beast Riktor and he is also stronger when he uses the gravity with his techniques
2. He can stop nearly all of the magic of Shi-anne with just using his time, though she does have some magic that can break through that but his got gravity as well
3. The Hero has the best chance of beating him, but he already knows all of the heroes abilities as well as how to stop them
4. the main reason I did not app his full power is because you had the must not be able to destroy more than a mountain for starters or something like that... but at full power the best example might be if you think of Uchiha Madara from Naruto in his prime...
Basically his range he has now is low, his normal range when we were nearing the end was more than a kilometre not counting his teleportation went from a few times to nearly infinite... also his abilities began to effect living things as well if their will was not strong enough.
Then again he had to fight seven demon lords at the same time so he had to be OP, though he lost everyone in his team in the end...

I have a half angel character planned out who I've yet to post to character-a-day that would be a good rival for them. She doesn't really fight demons as her main thing but of course she'd be good at it if she wanted to. funny thing is my new story introduced ranks lol... the team is currently weak though they all C rank and lower except for the retired paladin his B-Rank but was formerly a top class elite A-Rank. The S-Ranks are basically the top ten strongest in the world not counting that the number of S-Rank demons rates at close to a hundred, with most of them being lazy or sleeping since they bored.
either way the characters are getting further in the story I am expecting them all to reach A-Rank after they finished the first two years of their adventure... still have a lot of drama though due to the mage girl getting into fights with the little demon boy cause he killed her family while his still upset cause his keeping something from her. Also some of the demons in the new story belong to clans, so you get armies of demons with the same power as well as other things.
right now they still trying to get approved at the academy, but Alexander who has no relation to the Hero Alexandier is a genuine hero who wants to protect people. though he did get beaten in the first academy ranking tournament, I sort of thought he would win then as I played it out I felt I could not let him get too lucky since his opponent was one of the top in the class. So she beat him hard and she broke his elbow and like five of his ribs and busted his knee as well so currently his going to school half crippled for a while...
It depends if this battle is dead or not and if the others don't mind you doing your trump card on the first battle. A lot of people seemed to have disappeared, at least the ones who haven't posted this round yet. We could do our own battle outside of this if you want, me using a different group of characters or some of them the same if you'd like.
I'm trying to get to manga quality drawing so will draw all of my characters over time to build up my technique. My faces would be passable for "meh, I guess it's fine" for a manga but the rest isn't up to par yet.
yeah I tried drawing before, best I could do was after lots of errors get a decent face going then after a really long time get the body done if it has clothes on, without clothes you need to deal with a lot of anatomy issues which means you mess up one proportion and it can make a hot girl look butt ugly or a cute boy look like something out of a horror movie.
if we did another rp I would use my characters from my new story I am writing, the new story a lot more balanced though and in most cases they have more variety.
But the new characters each have a basic element of Fire,Water,Earth,Air,Light,Dark and then have an advanced element. Examples are Phoenix Fire which will keep respawning even if you put it out as long as the user still has will though he gets damaged if he does not have some mana left as well. Another advanced element you already seen in my current one is Gravity.
Oh yeah the Demon Lord in this battle is OP cause all three his main abilities can be put together at the same time...
Essentially he can make him self super fast and super light making him insanely fast not counting his short range teleport.
However the Demon Lord can also make himself super heavy while accelerating downwards to drop like a meteor and make everything go BOOM!!!
Though this is not his full power, his full power might end up killing all the first wave characters

It's wobbly and uber-simple, but I finally drew out the diagram of the ship. Now that I've actually put it down on paper, things turned out a bit different than they might have been described, but essentially it's just as depicted.
