Her fury was so wild and exotic, it was unjustified.

Gwyndolin Astris walked, no, stalked past the city end lines, right arm tense and coiled like a trigger. She bore around her palm band-like gadget with rings of fluorescent green in it's center; the beta version of her newest invention.

The Lovehand Conversion Band (LCB) played a heavy roll in the striking sight of the quick and slender scientist. Her onyx, silver-peppered hair floated around and high above armored shoulders as a result of the high amounts of energy being pulled into the device. It almost, almost could pull matter as well. Little bits of gravel inched towards her as she walked by but dropped movement after a few steps. It was still a beta, after all.

Her Spellglint Glasses accented hungry, violet eyes in a dramatic fashion with a glinting white like flashing across the frames. A miniature globe of light tinkered off the edge of the spectacles, waving with every movement like some majestic, delicate keychain; the only source of gentleness in the ferociously agitated Gwyn.

Hmmmnnnrg.... Gwyndolin? Salvatore called out from his sheathe groggily. How is anyone supposed to get any shut eye with you bouncing around?

She only gave a shrill growl in response.

...Gwyndolin?

The target was soon visible and in great detail with the help of her frames. There, at about 40 paces on a serene quit of grassy moorland. It was then that her the green lights around her hand pulsated and neon light came spewing from from LCB's rings, and a javelin formed in her hand. It spewed electric tendrils, powerful and blinding like the weapon of Zeus, spanning seven feet in length.

Gwyndolin put a stiletto forward and bent her knees, then threw the spear with the strength and precision of an amazon deity. It arched up in the air and was positioned for the top of her enemy's head at the center of her skull coming down.

And then, deeper into the stance she went preparing to explode the 40 feet distance and destroy.

The exogeologist did not know the exact capabilities of the humanoid creature, but she would draw them out and calculate them, as she did with all things.
Damn, I had the post written last night but didn't post it. Its alright :)

btw, the time limit doesn't start until the fight actually starts. ^^

@Starfall
Well then. I guess I just contact a mod?
Ohhh... I must have done it on accident >.< I'll go delete it if I can @Mardox
Alriiiiighty! Lets get this show on the road!
@Starfall May I do the honors? Or would you rather take first post? :3
@Mardox Two of what o.o?

"So, we are exactly 250 miles from the surface, and this stone establishment spans 150 feet both in length and width...."

The salt and pepper haired Guardian mumbled absent-mindedly, typing and tapping along a hovering blue keyboard. Digging her way out would probably ruin the architecture, and that was out of the question. This place would be documented; another lost, ancient, and prized civilization under Gwyndolin's belt.

The emptiness reminded her of Paleoth, but the advanced darkness made it more than uncomfortable. Nonetheless, she was eager to chart the uncharted in the name of Science.

She was just about to venture off and find the source of water when she felt as though something was off.

Her Spellglint glasses only reinforced this feeling as they picked up on a presence other than Salvatore's and her own. About 30 feet away, there stalked a humanoid creature that hovered over the ground, behind a gaudy slumping stalagmite.

The MGIS keyboard dispersed into blue four-dimensional cubes of data and disappeared into the blackness.

:I sense its' intent as malicious.:

Ah, but Salvatore, you are quick to jump the gun, she thought as she put one foot forward in the direction of the creature, bending her back knee slightly.

"You, there! Make your presence known!"

Despite her hesitation to immediately strike in this enclosed, wet, and dark space like an agitated viper, a hand raised to the hilt of her blade in a seemingly casual resting position.

Never had Gwyndolin Astris seen a sight so beautiful and maddening.

Just hours before, she and a squad of hired astrogeologist were traveling back to the Damascus S. Universe in search of a notorious planet that was its' own sun. As the Guardian looked about the jeweled stalactites and ancient cavernous castles, she tried to piece together how she wound up underground and alone.

She found no trace of her ship, and though she called out her comrades' names there was no answer. Her footfalls echoed off the monstrous walls and high celling. Every structure seemed to be carved from angry stone, moss and fungi choking their edges. There was no natural or artificial light in the vast area; and Astris' only saving grace from the eternal darkness was her Spellglint glasses. They had adjusted to the darkness automatically upon entering, allowing her to see more of the place than just shades and shapes. She speculated that the creatures of this civilization, wherever they were, may have used something similar, if not infrared vision entirely.

"What do you make of this, Salvatore?" she asked aloud, smoothing her hand along the slender hilt of her blade.

:It seems as though we were pulled into a different dimension entirely, my dear. We are very far from Damascus S.:

"Well... That makes even less sense."

:Does it?:

"Yes!" she snapped, suddenly annoyed. "I had a very set mission and my course was true. I have traveled to and from that universe for time and time again." her irritation was quelled by deep thought momentarily. "....This had to be intentional on some scale."

:Indeed, Gwyndolin. Why else would the other scientists and your vessel not be here as well?:

Her thoughts exactly. Gwyndolin continued to study, documenting information inside her electric blue frames and on the MGIS (Multi-Geographical Information System) along the way.

Deciding to at least take advantage of the fact she was in a new place, the exogeologist immediately became enveloped in her life's work.

"Sal, I need exact coordinates."
@ArenaSnow Why thank you! I will read that and hopefully, learn well ^^

@SgtEasy That makes a lot of sense lol, thank you! And I've been reading MAW and I think I will try to get in on that. Also, I'd be extremely interested in a semi-casual role play with you, sign me up!

[@MiddleEarthRose]SOMEONE GETS IT! Lol, say, I like your username. That wouldn't happen to be Lord of The Rings related, would it?

Awwww man, I'm so excited! :D
