Thus is the reason I preferred to ask first. Though the idea of the magic can be horrifically broken I have put some limitations on it other than the touch spell range. The user cannot use the magic on themselves, the endless cycle of magic would kill them, the user is a corruption of a pure magic and is repulsed by nature, wounds becoming easily infected and exposure to elements will cause the contacted flesh to ulcerate that and a constant aura of "corruption" surrounds them much like the sickly sweet scent of plague victims. The user cannot change someone beyond the energy of their body and the recipient's combined so re-growing an arm will take the same amount of energy using the magic as it would do if humans could restore it normally so a large transformation would require either several sessions or an abundance of naturally occurring organic energy. The initial idea of the magic was to do what I consider white magic cannot, which is to restore or rather to create limbs for those who never had them in the first place and as such cannot be "healed" better. These are a few of the limitations, not including the inability to learn any other magic but the idea of the magic is second to how the side affects of having it changes the psyche of the character I very rarely have this character actually use the magic (He himself despises it).

A question: Is it alright if I use a brand of magic that I've been coming up with? It will be properly explained in the sheet but if you know of vicissitude in the Masquerade you will have a good idea already of what I want to use. It will be a flesh sculpting magic, sort of an offensive healing (That I have Dubbed Epideromancy for the sake of a name) to mutate the recipient of the magic restricted to touch spell flesh contact meaning clothing or any sort of dividing material will nullify the effect of the magic (Grown armour such as chitin would count as flesh contact).

Hey guys I've been searching for this (Though rather half-heartedly) since the site went down, I was wondering whether it would be possible to join once again as I have more confidence in my ability to post and regulate my characters (Previously played as the character "Nathaniel Lictor the warforged")
R.I.P

Talking to Roxas every day

in which case would you mind supplying us with a reason as to why he is delayed, even if it is as simple as "Busy". Any reason would be better than just 'Wait' or silence. I only have his RPguild use history to base my assumptions on after all.
Well Roxas has been MIA for two days and looking at the history, they tend to be so for weeks at a time so I'm thinking this might not fly much to my disappointment.
My character doesn't even have a sword. I mean he has secrets but I don't mind telling you that he is not skilled in either offensive magic nor tactically trained in combat techniques. He has a withered arm meaning that fighting is not his style at all even despite his curved spine that causes him agony if he stands up straight. I at least consider myself to have created a specialised character but not one that would help in a legitimate battle, he simply would never seek to find himself in that sort of situation.

~Roxas, I have sent you a PM to notify you of the rest of Hevan's abilities and background for you to confirm or dismiss.
Updated. let me know if I need to put some more work than the few more minutes I managed to squeeze in allowed me. Now off to work.
Name: Hevanseer Evinlost (Hee-van-see-er Ee-vin-los-tuh)

Age: 28

Race: Human

Appearance: Hevan has a constant stoop owing to the warped nature of his spine (Kyphosis), forcing him the bend almost double to prevent discomfort. He walks with the aid of a exquisitely carved cane shaped at the head into an outstretched Crow's claw and at the bottom it tapers into three different points making a tripod style walking stick. He stoops at 4'8 and has incredibly pale skin. His left arm is withered and he often holds it close to his chest although it is still fully articulated and posses all other functions as a normal arm would. He wears a simple set of common clothing with a single gold signet ring and his cane marking the only signs of wealth. However his eyes are bloodshot and he is balding heavily aging before his time. Yet despite this he still manages to pull off a decent smile at all times, showing his white teeth behind the pale purple lips. He is clean shaven and tries to make himself as presentable as possible given what he has to work with. In contrast to this he carries a very large and imposing backpack. Rigid in shape and giving no clues as to the contents within.

Abilities:

Natural Healer: Hevan was born with a natural affinity for healing magic, which he continued to train in and expand when he was sent off to a temple to further the study in order to help the injured. However he slowly became tired of the constant restriction on the magic he had in plenty, eager to learn the methods that would allow him to repair his back and to help those truly in need, not those who donated money to the temple's cause in return for healing aid. When he reached the age of sixteen he slipped away from the priests and priestesses and vanished into the crowd. Thus he knows a reasonable depth into his magic, enough to repair damage done to skin, muscles and simple bone but he does not possess the secrets a full healer would have in their repertoire.

History: I shall omit this section and a small number of abilities from the CS as I would prefer to keep them a secret for now and to not reveal anything simply in the character creation section that could miss out on some of the IC interactions.

If required I can PM the details to the GM to confirm the suitability of the character's abilities and background.
