Oh my god you've had 136 deaths? I'm on my -200 winstreak of deaths lmaaaao but that's probably only because I like to scream and run into enemies when I don't get anything from the first item room, or the rerolls.

I really don't like any of the other characters, but I know I'll be forced to use them for chieves and items, I really don't like Azazel because he's waaaaaay too easy, I feel. Which makes him fun but gets pretty old quick. I don't know I feel

I wanna know mega satan's patterns if you can tell me because I've been able to challenge him one too many times but I felt I didn't have good enough damage or hearts
@NuttsnBolts

That's insane, how are you so lucky, share this luck with me pleaaaaaaase
"Satan", "Devil", "Lucifer", "Adversary", "Iblīs" all were names given to the angel that supposedly opposed God since it deemed humans to be too imperfect to bow down to, let alone respect. The Angel was then cast out from heaven because of their pride and disdain for God and God's decision. The Angel became a dark force that orchestrated all kinds of evil in the world out of severe contempt. They became the Adversary against God and all that was good in the world. They stoked the devilish fires of the world, and kept the evil strong.

In truth, the Adversary was not opposed to God, was not cast out from Heaven and condemned. The Angel continued to be the Adversary, but against mankind. They were to weed out fakes, test the good, and condemn the evil, all to carefully prune the world the world's good. All throughout history, the Angel did their best to keep the world as pure as it could. The Adversary had essentially devoted its entire existence to keep the world pure, for God's happiness. So, when God abruptly disappeared their heart crumbled.

Whatever was left of its heart, ached and grieved over the loss of essentially their parent. The idea of not doing well enough bubbling within their soul. Of course, they weren't the only Angel that felt the agony of loss or the worthlessness. They all grieved, and wept for the loss of God. Nobody was there to guide them and nobody stepped up to take the place of the one who raised them. They all grew frantic before certain Angels began to theorize that maybe it was a test for them now. All of them soon clung to this hope that God was testing them. If they passed, God would return and again all would be right. They continued to worship God with a new fire and intensity in their hearts. All continued with their jobs, just with the extra effort to bring back their God. The Adversary had also succumb to the idea that it was a test. Doubling their effort, and eventually going as far as to begin eradicating the evil themselves.

After several more centuries of tirelessly working away, the Angels gave to the idea that their God is truly gone. They still had their duties though, and to continue God's legacy they continued to work. Now just solemnly, with the flames of their spirits doused by grief and uncertainty. The Adversary lost most of themself when constantly drenched in the darkest of human nature. Hatred and loss wrapped around their soul like broken glass. Their goal becoming lost in time.

Thanks, for reading that.

Anyways, let's get into it.

I'm not trying to spark any religious debate or whatever. I was listening to a podcast and it talked about the evolution of Satan and I liked the concept of them being the Adversary against sinners and such. I just want to explore the reluctant relationship between an angry Angel that has the emotional development of essentially a child and of course a human person. This lore is mostly made up, influenced by actual sources and biblical scriptures.

I was meaning to play Satan of course, but if you want to that's perfectly fine as well.

I mostly roleplay Casual, can go on for paragraphs if need be. Honestly I range from free to high casual. I post frequently so you don't have to worry, and I'll definitely say if I'm going to be gone for a while.

Anybody is welcome, if you're interested shoot me a PM or post on this thread.
I've literally spent 5 hours, just going on runs over and over again to actually get something good in the first item room. The D6 for Isaac didn't help at all and I literally refuse to try any other character because I just unlocked the D6 for Isaac through a grueling and painful run with blue baby. I want to exhaust it and revel in its power but its just not giving it to me

*silent crying in a corner*

Well, enough with that... What about you guys? What are some of your painful experiences with the game?

Hey, names Corvotius but Corr is good too. I've roleplayed for a couple years now, I prefer OnexOne, casual, and free. I'm still working on advanced.
