@Kibaro Milx is a mouse, correct?
@Kibaro I'm gonna be getting up an OOC today hopefully! Works been a bit crazy. As for the stat system, I don't think so. I haven't done one before and I kind of find it interesting to have people figure out as you go.
Potential Solution: We don't side with either Zeon or the Feds.

This is just a hypothetical, but what if we took a page from Gundam F91's book and center the story around some ragtag third party? In F91 it was essentially space pirates in the form of the Crossbone Vanguard. Suppose we're playing as something similar? People whose homes (be it a colony or a place on Earth) was hit by war between Zeon and the Feds and were forced into doing whatever it takes to survive in a harsh world/space that's being torn apart by a war. The idea is that we're essentially scavengers. We try to salvage shipwrecks and especially mobile suit parts. We do it to both make money and arm ourselves so that we aren't defenseless. Naturally, neither the Federation nor Zeon take too kindly to people like this potentially learning the secrets of some of their machines and so we'd probably be treated like outlaws or pirates.

In my hypothetical scenario, we have a plausible reason for why no one would start out with a Gundam (because their parts are just that hard to come by for us) but also gives us the potential to acquire one or two of them as time goes on, assuming we survive long enough to reach that point.

Edit: I also think at least one person ought to play as a masked antagonist of some kind. It just wouldn't be Gundam without a Char clone. Hell, I'll gladly volunteer for that part myself.

Yes. I personally think this is gonna be the best option. Cause there would be a lot of things to figure out if we sided with one or the other. Like which characters from the series do we have and which do we use. How does that all work and whatnot. Also, figuring out who gets gundams is gonna be way too exhausting.

Or you run off like every Gundam storyline: someone's long lost family member gives them one. And they aren't always pros at flying them.
@Varicke Ahaha. See I hate posts that are just redundant, like I'd rather post something that moves it along. I'm sure that's because I've gotten used to doing 1x1 rps and you always have to be moving things forward. But to me, it's almost just filler to write something that is all reaction. Same reason I don't like writing super long wordy posts that just describe the scene and what is going on around them.
I have no questions and I just don't know where to go from here.
It's more of your all on the same team so you'd learn to fight together and to play off each other's strengths. No one is useless in a combat unit if they know how to work together. And it would definitely be a little odd to have like 8 people in gundams. Unless we went with how they did it in AD and everyone gets 60 gundams!!!!! Just kidding. But I do think it'd work okay. Plus, the pilots aren't great when they first start out anyway. And some of the custom mobile suits can hold up against a Gundam.
@vietmyke Yes Zeon!! Alright, I loved Garma, which is kinda weird for me cause he's so... Almost prissy. But I think being on the side more often labeled as bad would be very fun. There is also the option of introducing a third group (not like celestial being) that have formed to protect their own colony during all of the war.

As for the gundams, I'm thinking a smaller number could actually use them. Like three people who have gundams, but also have slightly personalized suits for the others.
@Double Well I suppose that would be where character development comes in. To start with I would expect them to all put their crap aside for the mission, but over time it may become too much on some characters and they could defect. However, I think this would be harder to have happen in the rp as a group would have to defect to keep it interesting for a character most likely. Unless they became like a spy I suppose.
@vietmyke This is probably gonna be the worst answer you ever wanted. But I want all of it. I want characters who are just fighting for the thrill of it and others who feel that they have a duty. I want loud, obnoxious, crazy characters and the ones who are quiet, analytical, and much more serious. In rps I've come to believe that having everyone on the same side of a fight tends to work better. It keeps everyone moving at the same pace (usually) and allows for people to work together and still get in struggles based on personality and beliefs. You're not going to get one group altogether who are serious if this was for real, there are going to be people who get on and go a little crazy with the power and excitement of it all.
@vietmyke I haven't watched all of the shows so I'm worried I won't know something that's like important really. And I just really don't want to end up jumping down a rabbit hole that doesn't even make sense in the series. Like accidentally changing something crazy. I wasn't expecting a turnout like this though, I thought people would just be like slightly interested and not as open to talking and sharing everything as people seem.

@Rin Sigh. I suppose I'll give it a try. Just gotta finish 00 and then I'll move on. I can't watch two at once or anything, I get too confused. Or breaking in the middle gets me all messed up on who is who.
