Did he? I thought Flagg explicitly said that land was off-limits.

If @Dynamo Frokane is okay with the land Zero gave him, I'm okay with him being there and @Vinsanity taking the peninsula. That work for everyone?
@Vinsanity

I whipped up this, which I think is more or less everyone:

I'm not sure about the size of Flagg's or The Zax's territories since they haven't posted maps, but I'm pretty sure I've got the right area at least.

Thanks so much, Zero, that looks right to me!

We factored it in! :) As our joint leader's history states that they were captured in a Justinian raid and put into death camps, a common occurrence and a catalyst to the rise of the new government. I suppose since there are no public sheets this wouldn't be known as of yet but we are on it.

I also apologize for the buffer time for Aristo's or my sheet to be posted. I know we are usually the first in and last out type of players but since this is a giant joint collaboration and we are doing a lot of experimenting, it is taking a little more time than our usual rate.

all good!
@FlaggI'll get you a claim today, even if it's the only thing I do (hopefully not)!

I think this is what Gold and I are rolling with, for now.

I thought the Marches were mostly Justinianist kingdoms? I suppose either Aristo or Gold (whoever's red on that map) is the exception.

Nex raises a good point- namely, that you're right up against an Imperium that regularly culls the population of Nagath and is actively hostile to all of our factions. If you want to be in that area, just factor that into your histories.

Also, @everyone- please throw your WIP NSes in the Character tab. I will share my preliminary thoughts on them as you work on them, but I'd like to kick this shindig off this week so we dont loose momentum.

sorry I didnt mean 'add' land to the map, I just meant naming areas of the map like what has been done with a few of the approved CS.

I just wanted to label the mountains in the top right corner the 'Kellerach Mountains' and the small patch of land between it and the ocean the 'Oni Plains' if that could be arranged. Obviously only if my final CS is approved.

yep, that's cool. players can name the land they claim. I'll add everything to the map once all the NSes are accepted.
@Flagg If i want to add areas to the map for my faction how do I go about that? or do I provide you with details and you edit the map for us?

Like...add land? I guess send me the details and we'll see what we can work out.
@Flagg

Hey man, I've been thinking about this and I've decided that this RP isn't for me after all. I'm not trying to diss on all your hard work or anything, I just think that I personally would not be able to pull something like this off. Thank you for your consideration and I wish you luck.

Sorry to hear it- you ever change your mind you're always welcome back.

By the way, addressed at everyone, does anyone whose faction has at least a modicum of occultists/mysticist/wizards/whatevermancers and who has access to the Sea of Curses have an interest in being part of my background story? I'm piecing it together and have come to the conclusion that I need some delvers of the arcane to have made a journey northwards some 100 years ago, finding the Tiamath and its disturbing cargo - and activating it, thus giving rise to the Pureblood Empress. I could pull some deus ex mage dudes out of my butt, but I think this is a great opportunity to forge some inter-player relations. Got some more specific details for those who are interested.

I'm down.

Looking good so far. My faction is always in the market for slaves and is in the business of breeding slave-races, so we should be thick as thieves.
Anathagos Vain

He stood at the tower window, smoking a thin dark cigarra as he watched the last light of day bleed from the horizon. Below him lay the Delorano mansion and gardens, busier than usual on a damp and unpleasant evening, and teeming with guardsmen- for whatever they were worth.

Anathagos Vain knew of five house guards in the pay of rival families, and was sure there were plenty of others on the take. He hadn't moved against them yet- it doesn't do to show your opponents how much you know of their operations after suffering a loss- and besides, he was making sure the information they were taking back to their masters was the information he wanted them to take- a good deal of it false.

Exhaling a cloud of bluish, spicy-smelling smoke, Vain opened his mind momentarily, allowing the Mark some freedom, and let the buzzing waves of confusion and anxiety that filled the Delorano household wash over him, mingling with his own suspicion and unease.

He felt it there still, just as he had for the last several weeks. An alien presence. Someone Marked by the Umbra, nearby, prowling.

Vain's pale eyes wandered the twilit city, flitting from shadow to shadow.

He saw it.

A flash of two great wings, black against the bruised-purple of the sky, swooping from a spire in the palace district down onto the mansion below Vain's window, where the family of the dead were gathering.

"Ulsid, Gabor," said Vain, and two Umbrakin in assassin's leathers seemed to materialize from the shadows of the room behind him, "I must go down to pay my respects, but the manor has an unwanted visitor. Search the roof. I will want to question whomever you find."
