P E R S O N A L I T Y

To describe Sania briefly would not be very difficult given the fact that she isn’t very nuanced when it comes to the depths of her personality.

Beyond all of Sania’s kindness and polite manner stands a girl who is the very definition of meek, shy, and reluctant. This isn’t particularly because she lacks any form of courage but rather that she lacks the confidence to be assertive, flirtatious, or prideful in any situation. It is due to this that her innate talent in magic may be seen as redundant because she is so cautious to the point of hesitating and second-guessing herself and the situation; especially when it comes to a scenario where she needs to act swiftly. Ultimately, Sania is very well aware she needs to be brave and be better than she is but the truth of the matter is that she struggles to want to; she’d rather someone think her cowardly or pathetic than see her as evil, dangerous, and threatening— she doesn’t want to be villainized and hated.

Her fellow guildmates have found it difficult to break her shell.

HISTORY

Sania was born in a small village of unremarkable reputation sixteen years ago, though she admittedly knew very little of her parents— a fact that was due to their disappearance before Sania was old enough to walk. In her parents stead Sania was raised by an old eccentric wizard named Belchardt Akranos, the only noteworthy individual who took residence in the small village at the time; a man whom Sania would recognize as her guardian. It would be relatively early in her life where she would discover her innate magical abilities; a discovery that would change her relationship with Akranos from foster daughter to student. But her tutelage was not conventionally legal due to the laws of the Librarium, though it wasn’t exactly for this reason that Sania’s idyllic life would come to an end.

The phrase “magic attracts magic” is very old and very true— and Sania would witness it when demonic abominations set their sights on her unremarkable village. The resulting battle between Akranos and the demons would result in the near destruction of her home and the loss of her mentor, though she struggles with remembering it in perfect clarity. The surviving villagers branded her a witch, cried for the Librarium, and Sania fled the village in fear for her own life. Following her fearful escape from a place she once deemed her home she now found herself a homeless nomad, travelling place to place trying to survive by any means necessary whether it was stealing food or scavenging what she could. She was twelve years old.

Eventually she found herself being discovered by someone who offered her shelter. But more importantly what she was offered was a new home and a new family— the Cloud Chasers.

In New Frontier, I incorporated Carol Danvers and Jessica Drew in a way that both heroines could be utilized to write superhero spy romps, adventurous escapades, and overall kind of silver age-meets-modern age cheese. I have a lot of untapped potential in playing out stories with them so I’m going to give it another shot since my Vicki Vale and Jason Todd POVs are more auxiliary tools to tell Batman stories with Jon (Green Grenade). This will likely be my final POV I request for this game unless I finish up with Space Ghost.

I will be retelling my “Geomancer” story with tweaks to start off before springboarding into other stories.

I will also be forward to working with other prospective characters that are rooted in the modern era including ventures in space, political bits, and with some leeway from the X-Men player to touch on the governments involvement in dealing with Magneto's Brotherhood of Mutants. However with that in mind I do not simple wish to copy and paste my posts from New Frontier, so things will be adapted and revised so I am just not giving the impression that this is old hat material.

I will be dealing with the supervillain known as Geomancer as my central antagonist (or first one), but the idea is to explore SWORD/ARGUS/SHIELD so expect characters like Nick Fury, Amanda Waller, Abagail Brand, and their ilk to show up.

Backstory: Arachne

When reports show Jessica is a metahuman she is investigated by SHIELD. Jessica finds herself recruited in their organization and afterwards is awarded a codename— Arachne. The rest is history.

Backstory: Captain Marvel

Not the first to bear the Captain Marvel name, Carol Danvers will most certainly not be the last. Working closely with ARGUS and the Intergalactic Community Carol tries to balance her sense of adventure, independence, duty, and ideals in a universe that wants her to be a militant drone and enforcer. She rejects that idea entirely.

As an adult, Carol found herself involved with NASA’s foray into a new space program which had her cross paths with Mar-Vell— a former member of the Kree Empire and an associate of NASA’s in the regards of interstellar expansion and affairs. Not too long after her initial meeting Carol found herself thrown into the thick of trouble when Kree forces appeared and attacked the base she was stationed on. Despite Marvel defeating the invaders Carol was thrown into a damaged Psyche-Magnitron; a device born of Kree technology. Carol was critically injured and the attack by the alien invaders was covered up by SWORD. However, when she recovered something strange had happened: the damaged Kree technology had reacted adversely to Carol’s physiology, changing her genetic structure and molding her into a Kree-like being. The change would be one she wouldn’t discover for sometime.

Following her recovery, Carol eventually severed ties with NASA due to a variety of reasons she was not at liberty to disclose. As she began having strange blackouts and meta-phenomena she decided to check herself out by meeting with experts in the field of meta-biology. With information gained from the studies she would discover what the battle with the Kree had resulted in. As if on cue, ARGUS came walking into her life and she found herself recruited. Remembering Mar-Vell she would take on the codename “Captain Marvel”, a name that stuck.

Soon afterwards she became a superhero in her own right.

Timeline

◼ 1997: Carol Danvers joins the United States Air Force.

◼ 1999: Jessica Drew leaves home to join the United States Armed Forces.

◼ 2001: Jessica Drew is recruited into SHIELD after they discover she is a serving metahuman.

◼ 2005: Carol Danvers is cosmically altered by a Kree device known as a Psyche-Magnitron.

I am with @Leslie Hall on this one: I have an incurable urge to write and explain everything I can think of (often pondering over the smallest of details). Sadly it can pretty easily turn into filler ^^

BTW I laughed when I read through the part where your character clonked the deacon, haha. That’s great. I feel like everyone in Cloud Chasers is the exact opposite to Sania which is good. I expect a lot of fun dynamics ahead.
