Anyone still here?
What are you talking about? It served perfectly. I'm sorry I didn't post earlier, but I honestly kept postponing it because I'm an idiot.
Lumos Fawcett, at your service.

Lumos had been practicing what he would say a few hours before arriving to the said location, but panic overcame him. When Corvus addressed him, instead of repeating the line he had methodically learned at a normal speed, he ended up mumbling quickly, "LumosFawcettatyourservice.". You could see the blood traveling through his veins towards his cheeks.

And then he realized they weren't the only ones sitting at the table. As Lumos shook Corvus' hand at an awkwardly quick rate and saw his other arm extend to the man sitting beside him, he actually jumped a little bit, successfully hitting his knee on the table. "Ouch! Sonofa...", he said as he rubbed his leg in an attempt to make it hurt less.
Well, there's no way this could get worse. Might as well play it cool. He thought.

"I'm awfully sorry. Nice meeting both of you." he said, more comfortably now, as he stretched his arm to properly greet Farrus. "Lumos Fawcett. They call me the Optomancer, because I can make pretty lights!" He pulled a small prismatic lens, and started to create a light show, as promised. He had in mind the countless times he had performed his trick before, and the also countless times he was told it would be more fit for a child's birthday than a formal meeting, but he still didn't care. He was proud of his "pretty lights".

Oh, poop. I'll post as soon as possible!
I-I did the thing, guys! :^D
"We survive".

Piotr stepped out of the ship just as the creature attacked Jack, being able to see what happened. In the split second he spent outside the ship before the incident, he couldn't help but stare at the jungle, astonished. They had made it, they were the first to explore this unknown spot in the universe, and it was up to them to study and catalog the place. But before they could do their duty, they had to assure their own safety. As the attack happened, he immediately realized the imminent danger they were exposed to. They weren't at home and, as far as he knew, anything could mean the end for this squad of Space Explorers. It would take a while to get used to the idea of having to be careful of absolutely everything around them, but they had to do it if they wanted to get back home at some point.

"You", he said while turning his head at the hurt soldier, "if I were you, I'd get that checked immediately. For all we know, that creature could have injected some sort of neurotoxin and you could die any second now". He now directed his speech to everyone around him. "As for the rest of you, I'd suggest you to be really careful. You may not have noticed it yet, but we are no longer on Earth, so don't act as if we were. Be wary of your surroundings. If something gets close to you, it's likely to eat you".

Still here!
Piotr walked slower as he approached the Dropship that would eventually lead him to the uncharted territories that the crew was about to explore. He still couldn't believe the fact that he was one of the sole humans to ever step on this place. It simply astonished him how far they had come as a species. When the moment had come and he was called to the hangar, he stood paralyzed for a few seconds, in shock. He simply couldn't digest the fact that something of that magnitude was even happening, and he surely refused to believe he was an active, vital part of it.

He rushed to the dropship and lowered his pace until he had reached the ship. He trembled out of excitement, you could hear the collision of his teeth as his jaw shook, trying to dissimulate his absolute joy, and fear. He didn't know what to expect from the unknown planet. What kinds of life forms would they find, if any? Is the planet a kind host, or would they end up devoured by this new, savage world?

He tried to escape the storm of thoughts that was his mind by tapping his fingers on his lap, along one of the many piano songs he had learned during his formation. He waited patiently, both like a father waiting to see his child for the first time, and a convicted murderer, awaiting his inevitable execution. Only time would tell their fate.
So, um... I suppose there's a free place now?
So um... yeah, I did the thing.
