Which organ is it that makes cats so flexible? And can it be removed? I'm starting to have nightmares.

Bio

I prefer to write in the first person when not writing about/from a character, I am sorry if this may make me seem a bit obnoxious at times. So this is my bio, which means you are interested in finding out who or what Jyoliod is, even if it's just a fleeting moment of pure curiosity, or something to pass the time in-between posts. Either way, I shall indulge you, while also throwing my ego out there for the world of RPGuild to observe.

Jyoliod is, or rather, I am, a character on the stage of RPGuild playing the puppet master of (soon to be)various characters, eccentric, gloomy, thoughtful, harsh, annoying, these are all attributes I may throw into posts depending on the author's state of mind, yet I hope to hold a solid presence of familiarity that I can share with all of you. My goal is ultimately to enjoy my time while not disturbing the comfort of others here in the guild, in the guild I'm not only looking for various RP's to enjoy and craft, but also friends and discussions to partake in. Though, in this manner I can be quite submissive and enclosed, I'm not much of an extrovert so bare with me if you will.

I am always happy to have a discussion and I really enjoy learning new things, so if you're bored enough to have read this far, throw a topic at me in a PM and see where it goes. But enough of that, I'll throw out some more substantive stuff in regards to my RP out-look.

The Genre I like:
Horror
Fantasy/High-Fantasy
Action
Heavy Magic Emphasis
Science/Technology Emphasis
Modern
Slice of Life
Apocalyptic/Post-Apocalyptic

The Genre I'd like to try:
Diplomatic Emphasis
Sci-Fi
Mystery
Family

The Genre I tend to avoid:
Fandom

RP Style:
1x1
Casual/High-Casual
Advanced
Arena

I like:
An emphasis on detail, I have a structure complex and find it easier to post when a RP is well defined. However, I'd gladly jump into a free-for-all sandbox type RP just to let loose from time to time, but never as something I plan to or hope to do long-term. I like character development and creating personal quarrels to over-come as a character. I especially enjoy the idea of long-term RP's where the character not only develops mentally but also physically.

Gore is also something I enjoy incorporating into my posts, though I only use it in the proper context. It's an easy thing to detail but also has a lot of room to work with, you have so many areas you can choose to detail and such a post, pulled off correctly can easily contribute, quite powerfully, to the current atmosphere of the RP.

Other Stuff:
I am dyslexic, meaning when I read and write, words and letters can often be switched around or substituted for completely different words or letters. This is an issue I try to stay on top of , but if you go through a post and find the structure of words or letters to be mixed up, I'd be grateful if you informed me of this. I make it a habit to re-read my posts three or four times to combat this.

Okay, in a couple of posts we're going to have an interesting experience!

Essentially the ritual that we mistakenly make with the parchments is going to force us into our Victus forms and take us temporarily right into the Realm of the glyph we've been given. The experience will be very brief, as any more time than a few seconds will cause our Victus forms to essentially be consumed by the local essent. When we come back, we'll have our books.

Are you still taking 'Order'?
"Mr. Londe, you know why I am here I'm sure." A young women asked peering at Juric. Her uniform reeked of bureaucracy but did not belie the elegance of her smooth movements, everything she did seemed as if it were on purpose, from the way she sat on a chair to how she walked and glared at the bed ridden Juric.

"Yes, you want me to reiterate what happened, for the one hundredth time." Juric spoke begrudgingly. Ever since his surreal experience Juric had been imprisoned in a hospital room with security at the door, as if he were a criminal. Juric's eyes peered past his glasses and at his left arm, the scars were back to normal save for one, which bulged and seemed to pulsate with his every heart beat.

"This is only the eighth time I have been here." The young women responded with a huff.

"In only five days!" Juric snapped back.

"Regardless, this is for your own sake. I need to confirm the data that I have gathered regarding your incident before I can send it off. Now, if you'll bare with me, can you please run through what happened once more." The women spoke sternly. Juric didn't enjoy their exchanges, she was like a vulture trying to peck at a corpse that had long been ravaged, there wasn't more he could add.

"Honestly, don't you have enough information to scare the public some more?!" Juric responded harshly. The women only raised an eye brow in response at first.

"This is indeed a scary reality, I assure you my motives are sincere." The women responded earnestly.

"Sincere? You and your goons have me locked up in this dingy room and refuse to tell me why!" Juric raised his voice. It was clear he was pissed off. "Honestly, first I get attacked by some fucked up ... thing! Then I wake up a week later in this fucking room and no one tells me anything." Juric stated as he lowered his voice. He shifted his gaze to his lap where his hands lay, if memory served right, he had pierced the chest of that creature with his hand. Most of the event was a blur in his memory, but he remembered the voices, screaming at him and then the sickening rips, tares and splats as the creature was absorbed by the scars that dotted his left arm.

The young women let out a long sigh before pulling out her mobile and standing. "I'll be leaving for now." She stated before walking off. Juric paid her no mind as he continued to stare at his hands.
Welcome to the guild Henwen, I'm sure you'll fit right in.

You seem pretty prepared, I hope you find some RP's to fill your time! You seem pretty set, but remember to read the rules and stay cool!
If you need a hand with anything, you can PM a moderator, ask here or in a relevant topic section, or feel free to PM me and I'll be glad to help to the best of my ability.

See you around!
"Right!" Leigh said hyping himself up as he charged towards one of the crowds. Pushing all his momentum into his lance Leigh rushed a crowd of Jaggi, the force of his thrust dragged him whole body forward while his feet remained stern, dragging along the ground. Several of the Jaggi had dodged the attack, but two were hit, one taking the full force of the blow landed several feet away. Quickly, Leigh shifted his footing as several of the Jaggi left high into the air, diving at him with their claws bared but before they found contact, Leigh swung his mighty lance in a wide horizontal arc, sending the mid-air Jaggi crashing to the ground, the blow was weak but at least it stopped their jump attack.

Leigh brought up his shield to meet the Jaggi charging at him on foot, they moved too fast for him to get another swing out and so Leigh kept his shield up and bashed a the creatures to keep them from dog piling him, his shield did next to no damage, maybe a bruise, but at least it kept them back a little.
Using raw meat was a classic hunter trick, but Leigh never thought of using it to split up a big group before. "Sounds good! I'll charge one of the most isolated groups the moment they start to gather!" Leigh said confidently. He drew his lance and shield from his back and pulled the trigger, sending the lance springing out to it's full length in a quick burst as it locked in place. Leigh prepared himself for the coming battle.
Oh crap, I just remembered that I've been forgetting to add arcs to the vault, I've got quite a few written on pen and paper.

I'll tackle that a bit later, since it isn't very important yet. Though I'll clue you in on one arc idea I have, I've been thinking of something that'd promote our characters to try their hand at a variety of Victus related skills, even if just on a very basic level. The idea involves a festival at a shrine where certain activities in the festival are practiced by the monks of the shrine, civilians are allowed to participate in competition with the monks in regards to these activities, but only during the festival. The activities themselves will be very minor looking feats of Victus magic that use tools that are very rich in essent naturally.

The basic idea is that the activities are far too minor to draw any serious scientific investigation, and that to do well at them one would need to be quite skilled at various Victus related skills(such as summoning, alchemy, rituals, ect.). The monks themselves, consider the activities to be divine in nature and practice very often, due to how minor the feats are (essentially they are just very inefficient ways of doing typical extremely simple processes) and the monks themselves are in a way, only inadvertently using Victus magic and over ever exist on the border of awakening their Victus forms. ~~ Just a leisurely arc that could operate yearly, something not too hectic and could be used to emphasise some slice of life aspects if we wanted to use it.
"Why would I care what they think?" Heon asked confidently as he stuffed the parchment back into his bag. 'So she's a student dragged here by Jonathan as well. No wonder I couldn't remember her, she seems so timid.' Heonhime thought to himself. "Anyway, if you're waiting for the gate to open you might be here awhile." Hoen stated coldly. "If you want to get to the gym, you'll have to cut through the oval, there is a hole in the fence." Hoenhime continued. He didn't want to be kept waiting if she didn't know how to get to the gym after all.

As was typical of his conduct with others, Heonhime turned back to his journey without offering his name or even a proper greeting. Sliding his hands into his pockets he followed along the school's border until he reached a large grass oval, the oval fence followed through to a small clearing of trees and untended grass, it was here that the fence was damaged most and a large hole could be found, produced by a split in the fence's links that were pulled back to produce an opening. Ducking through the hole, Heonhime took a deep breathe when he emerged on the other side. This hadn't been the first time he'd done this and he doubted that it'd be the last. Across the oval sat a large red brick building with a basketball court to it's side, Hoen could see some figures next to the large structure off in the distance and started making his way towards them.
"M-eh-lynx?" Leigh mused to himself after taking his potions back. 'Oh right! How could I forget!' Leigh thought to himself. He'd come across a Melynx here or there in the past, but they weren't usually so up front about their theft, the ones he met instead stole out of your pocket by charging a tonne of coin for crappy goods, probably goods they've stolen off hunters!

Together they approached the area Ren had pointed out, from afar Leigh stopped to assess the situation. He turned to Ren, "There are quite a lot of Jaggie there! It's hard to see them properly from here, but some of them look pretty big. Got any plans?" Leigh asked. His excitement was starting to fade as his calm nature started to kick in, he couldn't let himself get carried away like he did with the Melynx, other wise he might end up with a Jaggie claw stuck in his back.
