@Rofka Alright! If there is any news on it PM me. I really liked the idea.
Interested.

We have a few god roleplays in the guild. Divinus is the oldest one (I think?) and since I found about it after someone there used my name (by accident) I have been in the mood to play something similar. (That one RP is just too long for me to ever catch up).
Interested
Oh no! You are 4 months behind in the IC! How do you deal with the situation?

a) Read the IC posts, or at least their summaries. (which all players provide)
b) Explain in the situation in the OOC and request a general summary
c) Post again in the IC anyway without caring that you are contradicting everything that has been established.

Thankfully the co-gms are lovely lenient folk (as long as it doesn't effect their characters.)
In this RP a group of magical users would find themselves blockaded inside a town. Everyone else can leave it normally but any mythic thing is reflected back by some sort of invisible wall.

Soon after this started to happen random mundane people of the town started to have sudden bursts of power, unleashing spells that would normally take a mage decades to learn. To top all that sometimes the sun doesn't set, or more specifically, it freezes in place as it is about to reach the horizon. When that happens everyone normal vanishes from the town and soon after odd creatures start to march in, they will attack anyone they see on their path but will oddly ignore anything out of their way, even if the person is in clear sight. Once the creatures walk out of the town the sun sets, everyone normal returns and night goes on as usual.

The RP would follow the magic users of the town as they try to understand what is going on and how to stop this "siege". There would be two types of players:

-The Trained: People who had magical powers before the siege and had formal training in the mythical arts.
-The Blooming: People who had a sudden burst of power after the siege. They have no training but posses an immense power.

The difference between them is the difference between a Paladin/Knight and a Barbarian/Berserk.

Anyone interested? The OOC might take a while since I want to properly develop the town and lore so you people can actually try to explore its mysteries and find an way out.

Samieh found herself unable to get worried, the whole situation was oddly familiar to her, the anxiety of the crowd was the same of her group on their first poaching trough a noble's forest. Of course leaving the wall and going into the few woods of Enn had a gargantuan difference in danger, but she theorized that the key would be the same: awareness. The beauty of mankind was the ability to learn with other's mistake so it was mostly a question of not being the first fool to get in trouble right now.

She followed the trail of newcomers and their leader, her cage on her hand, she was still trying to figure out Spook and his distance to the people he personally called but it looked like it would be useless until he decided to actually explain the mission to them.

Her team didn't really look like a team at all, Kelsier had left to do gods know what, Scarlett had zoned off until now, Sharie was being an unwilling leader and Andica was, well, as much of a soft girl as she remembered. Many would hate such setup, she however liked it, she had never liked the city because of its rules imagine having to deal with a harsh leader outside too?

The vision outside of the wall was fabulous even if a bit expected, wilderness, unclaimed and probably unexplored. She started to wonder why she had never tried to reach this place before, those woods were probably full of game and with no noble to chase her out... though the thought about what substituted the nobles and their hounds on these forests was a bit scary, she would say to herself to be aware and to leave the job of committing the first mistake to others one more time.

"Its funny to see the earth meeting the sky isn't it? We are accustomed to have this damn wall between those two" she commented to Scarlett, who she guessed to be a huntress, considering her gear and all, though she was unsure if she was officially one or a poacher like her, but was nevertheless a sister in trade.

The day had started normally, her parents didn't ask any question about where she was going or why she was going, they never did, but they would always leave fresh bread for her to pick. For a second she thought about telling her parents that this time she wasn't going to be out for a couple of days, but as she thought harder about it she felt her bread becoming increasingly saltier and a bit wetter. "No way in hell I would let them see this, they would try to convince me to stay and become a baker" she thought.

Not that she had a distaste for bakers, maybe in another life, in a fairer place without nobles to steal the precious money they made in the form of harsh taxes. In Enn all she could do was to constantly bash against the law and one day or another the law would caught up and she knew pretty well the officers wouldn't be limited to just punishing her.

Before going into the meeting she made a quick stop in one of her gang's hideout to get some gear: a bow, a couple of traps, a knife and a piece of fur should she move into a cold place. With that she felt ready to finally check out what was so hot about the out-wall world and to leave this corrupt city behind.

For her surprise she soon saw a familiar face, her cousin Andica, but her attention would be quickly focused on the Traveller himself, what an odd fellow, odd mask, odd behavior and an apparent disinterest from her group. To top all that he barely looked like he cared about guiding them. Nevertheless, it was her only chance to leave and she had to take it.

Soon she noticed everyone in the group were introducing themselves, and she tried her best to look civil but she couldn't help but to giggle at Andica. "Oh please the hound is more noble than you" she teased "What are you even doing here? Mom told me you had finally got high in life, yet here you are, leaving town" as soon as she finished the question she waved her hand to the others "I'm Samieh by the way. I guess we will be on this one together eh?"

@DFTBA Sounds interesting! I think the two characters could have an interesting dynamic between sharing a distaste for nobility while also having two very different life approaches.

@Crimson Raven I don't think many officers caught a noise of Samieh's poaching or even the smuggling, though a few did (which is why she is leaving) and nothing stops Kelsier from being one of the few.

A sly poacher and a brutish daughter

Most people just know Samieh as the brutish daughter of a baker, a good for nothing bully who spends most of her day lazying around the street and who surely hadn't inherited a drop of the hardworking and gentle personality of her parents. Little did they know that the meat they buy for a rational price is just possible because of her gang.

Enn is, sometimes, a very conservative place who respects its nobles wishes way too much, that gets particularly ridiculous when the few woods of the land are often claimed by "nobles" who think they can own everything they can see. Who could be okay with eating only bread or overpriced cow beef when there are so many rabbits, deers and wild plants a walk away from their village? Surely not Samieh and her friends. The local noble is a bit slow, mind and body-wise, and has barely noticed all the traces of the nightly hunts in his land or all the game the local butcher had been selling.

Eventually the slyness of her poaching got the eyes of more serious criminal groups, she declined most proposals but eventually she had a job as a smuggler, a line of job pretty similar to her poaching. Things went smooth for a short while but she soon discovered the policing of her new activities was much more intense, even the slow lord started to get worried and questions started to be asked in her village. For now she had kept up the image of just a slow and brute daughter of a baker, but she knows that it won't hold up much longer.

The chance to become a Traveller showed up in the best time possible, she needed to go away from all the trouble and control of her hometown. Furthermore, she was curious, usually the places the higher ups deemed as dangerous were the ones where all the "nice stuff" was kept at.
