Anticipating the reaction of several of those at the table, Alexander had quietly and subtly placed a dagger on the table in front of him. He stood now befote them with their questions in mind and prepared to put them to rest. With a small wave of his hand, the contracts that had been filled vanished while the rest remained.
"Trepidation is expected, in turn, I will sign my contract to you. It read as follows. 'I shall preform no rituals involving your blood. I shall not harm you in any way. I will give you the guidance and support expected of the guild master.' To quench another question, this guild is not a direct partner of the Adventurer's guild, it is registered with them. The blood seal is required for confirmation of your person, not for anything else. As guild master I give you my word."
With the last words, Alexander grasped the dagger in front of him, and after pushing up one sleeve to reveal a slightly pale white area of skin, he drew his blood and as the drops hit the table, a red light flared from the words of the guild master's contract which had been carved into the table.
"Seal the contract and give your signature, or leave. We have no more time to waste on pleasantries."
Well that was an unexpected series of events. I should have it up today the 9th.

Edit: Phone got shut off. So. Now I'm late.
I'll go ahead and move us along. I'll be posting on the 6th or 7th.
Be sure to read the info.
As the small band of adventurers gathered inside the room, out from beneath the cloak, a hand waved for them to sit around the table. Without pausing for them to sit or get comfortable, he spoke.

"Each of you have come here for a reason, be it curiosity, coin, adventure or perhaps even seeking help. Whatever your reasons may be, you sit here now before me and in return I offer you what you seek. In exchange for joining this guild, you will have the support of everyone here to help you attain your goals, in order of urgency. Those who seek riches may do so by helping to collect contracts, those who seek adventure will find no end of it and those who who need help will be given it."

As he spoke the last sentence, he waved his hand to dispell the cloaking spell lain over the table. As the cloak faded, it revealed contracts at each seat, a finely sharpened piece of charcoal next to them and a small closed box.

"If you still wish to join this guild of adventurers, read the document and sign it with your name on the line, and place your bloodmark upon the page to bind it. If you no longer wish to partake, you may take your leave now.

Alright, I've given it long enough. I'll post tomorrow and get us moving, if you are still here post in OOC or just like this.
I think that you guys can go ahead and post again. I don't need to do anything until you're all in the room with me so you can go ahead and figure out your interactions and your entrances to the side room. Try not to overlap your posts.
Just waiting on the last two. Until then, if you need another post to get into the side room with me, go ahead and at least think about it. If you get it done go ahead and post it. Or wait. Your choice.
Watching from the short distance away, Octavian couldn't make out a lot of what was said but still managed to follow the meaning fairly easily. While they had all been getting introduced, yet another came from the boiling cauldron of humanity to the meeting place, this time a priest came forward with all the wrath and fervor Octavian had come to expect from the Ministorum. As the priest reached the group, Octavian kneeled and said a quiet prayer as was the way he was taught on Ferrum. After rising back to his feet, he spoke to the Psyker without approaching.

"I apologize for our unusual meeting, I don't fully understand what I'm capable of yet, Octavian is my name. I'm here for the same purpose as you."

Looking at the rest of the group as he spoke, he quickly realized that only perhaps three of the members had a chance in combat, and that included himself. With a slight internal chuckle he thought to himself "At least I don't have to do much of the thinking, I can focus on the rougher aspects". He shifted his pack around on his back in anticipation of moving on.

"Shall we continue on?"
I'll get a post up soon.
