Hello! This is the profile of Mikanu, or me!
I'm looking for casual roleplays where I don't have to worry about a specific post length. I'll probably be doing a few group roleplays, and 1-on-1's too. I'm usually a stickler for detail, but the reason for me looking for something more free-form is because I'm too busy to HAVE to post 5+ paragraphs all the time. That and I'd rather just have fun with it than meet some standard. Because let's face it... When there's a standard, most people either meet it or feel like they failed. I don't want to feel like that. I don't want to apologize for not writing more filler.
QUALITY >>>>>>> QUANTITY
I enjoy writing horror, adventure, action, fantasy, mystery, historical, psychological, and dark genres. There are most likely more that I missed. Slice of life is on occasion. It gets boring and repetitive, and I'm already living a little slice of life. I'm not a huge fan of romance because it is often forced, awkward, and/or instant, but I will certainly include it under the right conditions.
I really like to roleplay fandoms! Okay, there's really not much that I've played or seen, but I have a few.

Hello, the name's Mikanu! I'm a flexible roleplay partner who loves to have fun with writing! I've never liked dragging the plot along by myself so please don't hesitate to help me out with that aspect. I really enjoy out of character communication with my roleplay partners but do not require it.
Here's some information to help you understand more of what/how I like to roleplay.
1.) I enjoy all genres. I mostly lean towards more action-packed themes such as adventure, horror, fantasy, mystery, and many other types. I am okay with sprinkling romance into the equation as long as that's not the main plot. I have no triggers and am a complete lover of dark themes.
2.) My roleplay length is mainly around 2-4 paragraphs. This is my average and the numbers are just a way to show you how much I write. I am okay with getting more or less in response.
3.) I can be a busy person, but at the same time I can be online for hours. I have more time in my schedule for roleplaying, but please don't bug me every single day for a reply. I still have a life.
4.) I can play MxM, FxF, and MxF. I have no preference between these three. I can also easily play either male or female. I am okay with playing children, teens, young adults, and older adults.
5.) I do Canon x Canon, Canon x OC (usually with doubling), and OC x OC.
6.) I roleplay over personal messages, threads, Skype, and e-mail.
The Fandoms: I am perfectly fine with playing any character in any of these pairings. If you have a pairing from any of these fandoms that you want to do but isn't on here, feel free to tell me!

@ZeroL While your character IS very nice, you are supposed to place the finished character sheet here for approval. If you do so, to abide by the rules, I will accept you.
@Inmento Riku I don't mind him as he was written, though that's most likely not going to be the main reason he lost his memory. I don't want to control ALL of the plot, but I don't want any characters to be "super special" than all the rest or whatever. I think it's completely fine that he has lived past lives, as it isn't exactly something you can godmod with as long as he doesn't remember like the history says. If you do end up godmodding with it, though, I'll give you a fair warning.

@Framing A Moose It's starting when true loneliness occurs, that or boredom. An actual desire for companionship, or actual human interaction, rather than the synthetic humans that appear when simple, base companionship is desired. BUT, you can certainly give a little backstory of how your character reacted at first to the land.
