Carolina stood with the other students, she had waved goodbye to her sister awhile ago as she stood with the other children around her close to her age, some were younger while others were the same age. Her eyes wondered around the group of kids, noticing some of them had looked completely different, like they were out of some kind of weird movie. Noticing one kid appeared to have some kind of scaley like skin, which was weird to her, Carolina wasn't sure what this school exactly was for aside from helping people like her with certain abilities. She looked up at the sky as a thunderstorm went on overhead, but Carolina actually did not mind the dark and gloomy weather. She enjoyed the loud clash of thunder and the flash of lightening in the stormy night sky.

She ran a hand through her wet hair for a moment as Carolina turned her head to the girl that was standing next to her, her eyes wondering over towards the flame that she was holding in her hand. She noticed the girls blonde hair and pale colored skin, she then watched as another flame was produced in her hand. Carolina knew that her sister would have a field day trying to find out how that was actually possible. Luckily her sister just thought if was just a special boarding school for her to go to she gave October a soft smile but didn't dare try and touch the flame in her hand.

"Nah i'm good thank you though." Carolina said, her english accent coming through very noticibly with a soft smile as she looked around at the others. "I'm Carolina by the way." She said as she held a hand out to her roommate giving her a soft smile.

As Cassandra sat there she brought up her portable datapad that she carried around pretty much everywhere she went, she started to look over some projects and stuff that has been catalogued so far by the teams still exploring the city. While occasionally eating some of her breakfast, she closed her eyes as she started to enjoy her meal and leaned back as she continued to read the reports. For a moment Cassandra started to wonder about her younger sister, she knew that she was being watched over by her other relatives in the states by her cousin. She started to then go over who she was assigned to the next outgoing team for a trip through the gate.

She jumped slightly when she heard a voice and looked up seeing that it was Clarice, she remembered bumping into her once back at the SGC when they were about to leave once. Cassandra remembered going over the team file and that she would be working under Clarice, she smiled and gave the woman a friendly smile and nod. "That would be me, and feel free." Cassandra said her British accent coming through somewhat despite her time in the states that never changed as she pushed out a chair for Clarice to sit down in the seat. "So any idea what the plan is for today?" She asked.

Riley still did her best to try and avoid staring down at Felix, wondering why he was still talking she wasn't sure if it was just the shock or what. She would have just passed out if Cynthia was the one that had done it to her, Riley looked away for a moment listening to the 911 operator telling them that the paramedics were on their way. That's when things turned even more gruesome then seeing Cynthia's attempt at making a 'pretty picture'. The new crazed asylum patient who seemed to be friends with Cynthia, yelling out, in what seemed to be possible german or something. Riley saw Jaina taking off her necklace and a bobby pin, then she was on top of one of the orderlies tending to Felix.

This day just seemed to turn from just a boring lazy day recovering to a straight up, shit show first finding some guns in Lawson's apartment shed. Then getting a call from some unknown caller that threatened to kill more people that she knew and cared for if she didn't hand the guns over to them, and getting a picture of her sister and her friend Ronnie dead in some driveby outside of Club Afterdark. Up to now her old high school rival who is now just a complete nutcase gouging out an author's eye out with a dull crayon.

Riley was in shock as she saw blood starting to pour out of the orderlies' neck, and Marc tackling Jaina onto the ground it took a moment for Riley to do anything. Riley shook her head when Marc told her to get Cynthia out of the room, which she nodded, but she was scared the woman did just fucking gouge a dude's eye out. "Y-yeah, i'm on it.." Riley said as she quickly got up and started making her way over towards Cynthia offering her hand to her former high school rival. "C'mon lets go somewhere else Cynth." Riley said looking over at the new woman that sounded French that came in, and asked if Cynthia was alright she assumed that this woman was her doctor. "Is there a room to take her so she wont hurt herself or anyone else here?" Riley asked Iris. Riley started to regret just taking the time off now to recover, and wished that she was out on tour and somewhere else now, then be anywhere that would get her killed.

History

Why You Were Invited to the Institute: During the night Carolina was sleeping she started having weird dreams like they were out of body experiences. These had been going on for several weeks after that. Carolina decided to keep it secret from others thinking that they were mainly just dreams, she then started to realize it started to happen more frequently then they have been. She started getting a basic grasp on it, until a few weeks ago Carolina was handed a letter by her sister that was addressed to her, that invited her to attend the school.

Life Before Attending the Institute: Originally born into a rather poor family, Carolina was mostly raised by her older sister Cassandra and her older brother. Her parents were always busy working multiple and odd jobs, barely scarping by with the little that they had. But growing up Carolina had a lot of friends to keep her happy and content, however when her sister was old enough and got accepted to MIT Cassandra left her home and moved to the states.

Now being taken care of by just her brother, he to started taking up work just to put money on the table she was mostly home by herself to take care of the house. Then she started to ask her sister if she could move over, which she eventually said yes. Cassandra ended up getting a job with the US government but she never was told about the work that she did.

Feeling more content being in the states and knowing that they also did have relatives living there as well which she occasionally got to visit more often then she used to before. Carolina started a new school and made a new set of friends, she still stays in contact with her parents and brother still living in the UK. Then her Deviance started to appear, and a few weeks later she received a letter from the Institute which she accepted more from her sister urging her to go.
