Beacon's Light: Rising - OOC (RWBY)

*Sigh* Memories.

I was looking into RWBY again for a tabletop game with friends, and I remembered way back when this was going. If anyone reads this, again, I'm very sorry this fizzled out. My job was manual labor and I was built for sassy comebacks and eating Cheetos, so I just did not have the time or energy. Things aren't much better now, I do have a better/less time consuming job, but school is also a thing.

But this was one of the most fun and engaging roleplays I'd taken a part in, and the brainstorming sessions were amazing to be a part of. I'm sorry that so many hopeful stories from this never happened, but I hope everyone's still going strong in their new stories.

I miss everyone, and still am pretty busy, AND my Skype isn't compromised now like it was a few months ago. So if anyone reads this and wants to catch up again, my Skype is feistric, and my email is feistric@gmail.

Well, we had some good ideas and plans, and we had a lotta fun. I doubt I'll have time in the future for something this big again, but you never know, I guess. It'd be great to keep in touch, if possible, I had more fun roleplaying with you guys than a lotta other ones I tried. :P So, if we cross paths on here again, that'd be coolseville, if not, then it was great while it lasted. Maybe it'd be better, if people still wanna do it, to have separate roleplays with just one team, I think that would work better for those who still have the time and inclination.

(I still need to copy Dusk's info down from before, hope I don't forget. >~<) Once again, I'll give my contact info to whoever would like it. I don't check Skype super frequently, but I'm feistric on there, and my email is [e-mail]. I might attempt a smaller roleplay on here sometime, maybe with one or two more people, but I totes won't have time for a 20+ character one like this. Which was pretty impressive, to start with.

So, kudos to us, while Beacon's light dimmed in the end, it did shine bright while it rose. :P

Argh, I wasn't able to get on here at all last week. >~< Okay, I'm clearly breaking my own rules for being active in the roleplay, which is prolly pretty annoying to you guys. I'm thinking about giving my characters and their future development to whoever calls dibs on 'em, and only interacting in the roleplay as a storyline planner or something. 'Cuz I'm not sure I can be active enough to properly moderate as (a) character(s). I'm incredibly sorry, still, of my absence, I've just been really busy in other aspects if life after getting my job.

What's the general consensus? I'd be willing to give up my GM position to another member that gels with the current GM's, 'cuz I'm just worried that I'm not doing the roleplay justice. >~<

Lucius, you want Valerio to come in, maybe give Rygar some legal stuff and info about a Beacon supplied prosthetic, for until Isaac's company sends one? His character has a prosthetic arm too, dunno if you thought Rygar would get any benefit from speaking with him.

I asked him to have the character name begin with an "A," so there's no mix up there. We'll prolly decide when he submits, but it'll either be Orion or the new one. We can decide for sure when it's up, so not much we can do now. But anyone else wanna grab the mile before it goes back to Arrun? We can pause for a bit, prolly, as I should at least be able to check in to see posts from my phone, so I shouldn't be AWOL again. :P

But if everyone's alright with Rawr's friend stepping in to fill Arara's spot? He'd been reading up, and messaged me with interest to join, but we'd already allowed souleaterfan to appear later on. But SF seems to not have messaged me his CS far past when he said he would, so I don't think we'll be seeing much from him. He seemed to write well from his message, good grammar and such, so is it cool if we ask him to submit a CS?
