Saishu Haruno
Back Story:
With a small child being raised in the middle of the mountains, it was quite the job for the old wise woman that shinobi constantly came to visit for advice. Woman was left with a child, in the middle of winter. A handbag lay sideways in the middle of her ice and snow covered yard. Being awoken by a harsh scream, it left the old cranky woman no choice but to get up from her slumber to check on what was going on. Her bones cracking and grinding against each other, for her days of being adventurous would come to an end in some years. While hobbling outside into the loud howling wind, her eyes glared at the bag. Snow falling, the flakes resting and caressing the small child's cheeks once the old hag had opened the bag. The child had the brightest yellow eyes, that some would call almost inhuman. Her skin licked by the sun, which came to a shock in the dead of a heavy winter storm. The woman stood there, staring into the child's bright and sharp yellow eyes. Her hunch was telling her that something had to be wrong with this child, something that was a bit out of the ordinary. Scooping the child up in her arms, she could now tell that it was a female. Though, the odd moment turned into a troublesome one. A few streams of blood dripped down the baby girls leg onto the ground, seeing now that it was a huge cut. Most likely from some type of animal like a bear or a Mountain lion. It was now obvious why this child was ditched. She was left out to die.
A full grown female mountain lion looking animal squealed and snarled loudly for it had the same type of wound, but in a different area as if it had tried to stop the attack and save the child. The Mountain lion lay just a few feet away from the bag. Tears filled the woman's eyes as she say the name on the animals name tag. It was Saishu. Becoming angry with such a name given to a beautiful animal, she quickly grabbed the bag with the small child inside and carrying the mountain lion as well. Once inside, the woman felt like she had no way to save Saishu due to the wound being right on its chest. Its insides were visible on the outside, bleeding profusely. In a hurried attempted, she dabbed her fingers in Saishu's blood. Drawing and writing symbols and a large circle. Not much time had pasted as she then placed the small child in the middle, the little baby girl hadn't made any noise this entire time. Saishu placed next to her. With a heart-filled sigh, her old lips softly kissed Saishu's forehead and the small child. Just after those kisses, it seemed almost instantly. The girl screamed to all bloody murder. The child's hands gripped tightly onto the mountain lions paws for Saishu was wailing and crying as well. With both in terrible pain, their vocals were in seemingly perfect sync. Though, Saishu began to slowly drift out and the child becoming louder and louder.
Now a years later. The child was given the name Saishu as she wore the Mountain Lions collar, and a sealing mark right over her massive scar on the outside of her thigh. In the years that had passed, the old woman never told Saishu what that mark really was. To an outsider who came asking for advice, could plainly see it being some sort of seal. With Saishu now being at the age of 5, she asked the old woman she called Granny Chuti if she could learn something new and not out of the books Granny Chuti constantly read to her since Saishu could only see outlines, shadows and different shades and hues of yellow. In response, Chuti now didn't ask for money in return for her advice from different travelers but now to teach the small child she found annoying something new, interesting or something to keep her busy for a while. The first man that Chuti asked this of, gave Saishu two densely compressed wooden Yo-Yos. For about a month Saishu would be figuring out cool tricks and twirling patterns that would later become her fighting style. With no children to play with and smaller animals running from her, Saishu would often times play with the more... dangerous ones. Such as bears, foxes, Honey badgers and Wolves. As she grew up with these sharp teethed furry friends, she never felt in any danger nor did Granny Chuti realize or know. Though one day, a not so friendly visitor came to Chuti's hut.
It was a tall man, black skin with white markings. He towered over the both of them. The moon had just begun to raise as the sun seemed to have died. Even the stairs seemed to tremble. With the man entering, Granny Chuti instantly stood. Her bones cracking as Saishu was sleep in bed. All Saishu could hear was smacking, banging, thumping and cracking of different Items. With all this waking her, she grabbed her beloved Yo-Yo. Already getting it ready with a hellish glare filling her eyes. Though she couldn't see hardly at all, her sense of touch, hearing and smell was greatly enhanced. She could smell a rather fowl and... dead scent coming from Granny Chuti's room. All she could remember after that smell was both the man, and Granny Chuti's head rolling around the floor and her Yo-Yo covered in something she would later know to be blood. The mark on her thigh burnt as did her fingertips, head, back and feet. In a bit of a panic, Saishu took off down the mountain. Her feet and the rest of her body screaming to give up but yet her mind forcing her to go on and yet passing out at the bottom of the mountain. After waking, she didn't even stop to think of what was going on. She just continued to take off. A while of running and eating berries, Saishu somehow stumbled into a beautiful smelling place. It had a sweet smell that seemed to have peeked her interest. Wandering closer and closer to the smell, she soon found herself looking up at small little cute huts. A few villagers that didn't seem to give her a second look for they were happy with whatever they were doing. She had made her way into the Bamboo Village.
Appearance:

Age: 8
Height: 4’1”
Weight: 87
Identifying marks: A paw like curse/sealing mark on the outside of her thigh
Other: Two Yo-Yo

Personality:
Saishu doesn't speak unless really desiring something or spoken too. She isn't one for conversations and prefers to stay away from large crowds and cities. Being socially awkward, she also hates speaking to someone one on one. Most of her communication is through body language. When she does speak, it is very softly and almost as if a cat purring. Most of the time when she isn't trying to figure out something or trying out some Yo-Yo stunts, she is climbing tree's or sleeping. When she sleeps, its near impossible to wake her up. When angry, her eyes turn a deep leafy green and her Irish becomes elongated horizontally. Her nails on her hands and feet elongate and curl much like claws. Naturally, she already has sharp and pointy teeth that seemingly interlock perfectly but her two front teeth and canine teeth sharpen further and elongate as well.

Appearance:
The hair this child possessed was quite a sight to see. It was long, hanging down to the end of her shoulder blades in uneven and curled ringlets in each strand. Though they were uneven and not at all identical, they somehow seemed to flow together in a dark brown color which complimented her sun kissed skin. Her skin was a little darker than average for people in her area. Her eyes were even stranger. They were the brightest yellow to ever be seen. Though her eyes could be seen with ease, her sight was impaired. She could only see outlines of objects and people along with shadows. That wasn’t the only issue with her eyes. They were color blind, only being capable of being able to see shades and hues of yellow and gold. Her eyes were well complimented by her eyebrows that started off simple and tapered off, ending them. Her nose was small, cute as a button that would lead down into thick lips with a cupid’s arrow. Her lips were a natural pink being plump with a small frown. Giving her face a real stern look. Her neck and jaw was slip but sturdy and durable. Her clavicle was hidden under an off white, greyish, old shirt. It was baggy enough to hide her large breasts but long enough to where she had it tied up past her hips in a simple slipknot that was tucked on the inside. Giving it a slight balloon affect and exposing her core. The shirt was short sleeve. To hide her arms, she wore an open and simple black sweater. The sweater only covered her upper arms down to her elbow but it was just enough to satisfy her. Her bottoms were a dark mix of a blueish purple blend with a wrap on her right thigh, hiding the seal mark. Her legs adorned thin, midthigh high leggings that had a grey tint to them. Neatly ending in a pair of white sandals that came up just past her ankles. The wrap on her Tanto was the same color of white. Her Tanto was strapped onto her tool pack which was anchored to the back of her belt. The bag was a light beige color. The buckles a silver with dark brown leather straps, completing the look.

Height: Five foot, Three inches

Weight: 167

Body type: AB

Eye Color: Red

Hair Color: Black

Complexion:
Standing at only five foot and three inches, she was short immensely short for most girls her age. Though she was nothing close to a human. Her eyes the color of a petrified red rose, showing what she truly was on the inside. Frozen in time. Her skin was pale and lifeless. The light had left her. Though her lips had a red hue to them that was natural and offset her entire look. They seemed to be the only lively thing about her. The only thing that could still bleed seemingly. Her cheeks were plump but still held definition. Giving off the effect of maturity but youth all at once. Though the rest of her body, including her slightly sloped shoulders showed a well-developed body. Her chest, arms and core were hidden under a ragged, stained, old and heavy brown sweater that covered her hands and hips. In the middle of the stains and mess was a hand drawn symbol that seemed to be carved into the backs of her hands. Hiding the scars on her arms, sides, and core as well as the size of her breasts. Though her hips were bare and completely noticeable. Thick and healthy. Well-proportioned as no clothes seemed to cover them. The only bottoms she had were white undies, refusing to wear pants and shoes. The bottoms of her feet are black with mud and dirt stains. Darker than her large, baggy sweater. Her hair fell to her hips in dark brown, nearly black ringlets of curls. Each curl was different from the other but fit together perfectly like a puzzle. On her forehead rested a pendent with a red jewel in the middle of it with golden symbols scratched into the gold plate that it sat on with the chain matching the color of the plate. What hid under it would be something she refused to show and refused to ever expose.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Personality:
Quiet and shy. She hardly speaks at all but has one hell of a temper. Something that should be avoided at all costs. When close to someone she trusts, she is goofy and speaks her mind which is rather rare. She prefers the company of animals over people. Her trust for humans and people is not existant.

Weapon of choice: None

Fears: Being around a lot of people and being the center of attention

Strengths: High IQ, quickly gathers information.

Weaknesses: Mental battle along with physical disadvantage due to height.

Abilities:
Shape Shifting:
As a Mart, shape shifting runs within her. It isn’t uncommon nor rare, though has a huge tendency to shift into a cougar for stealth kills and close range combat. More often though, she can pull off a partial transformation like turning her arm into a front leg of a Cougar.
Fighting style:
She prefers to hunt or kill silently without causing much of a mess if she could help it. Odd for a Magician and a Mart, she prefers close combat.

History:
Not all stories were meant to be told. Some secrets save the innocent and give sight to the blind. That’s what she discovered he hard way. In her mind, there is no such thing as a balance of all people. Some people must endure the pain of others to allow them to survive. There is no such thing as an equal or perfect balance of light and dark, in her mind at least. Her selfless nature wasn’t taught by anyone but herself. She had no need for anyone… Nor was she given anyone.
As a child, she was born healthy with no complications. She was born a happy child, smiling and laughing instead of crying and wailing. The joy that she was born with seemed to never be ripped from her in her early years. Her father and mother were both Alchemists with no magical abilities or elemental abilities. Though they were highly intelligent, sin and corruption of foreign substances got the best of the parents. Their relationship with the substances caused the child neglect, starvation… Permanently scarring not just the physicality of the child but the mentality of her as well. In her eyes, the people who made her didn’t love her. They weren’t doing their job. Nearly killing her on several occasions. With the toxic house and poisoning parents, the father. He finally left.
With a single mother, showing no love or any emotions towards the child. She wouldn’t pick it up, feed it, bathe it, nothing. Any meaning the child once had to her was long gone. At as young as two years old she was already learning to read and write on her own, learning to take care of herself without parents. With the ability to tend to herself, mother became violent… Carving and burning into the hands and forearms of the only child she had at the time. With such physical abuse, it scarred over. Leaving disgusting and ugly markings. The abuse became so harsh, large burn blotches covered in scar overtook the child’s back, feet, hands and fingers. Though once she turned three, everything changed.
Another child was on the way. Momma was being naughty with a man she had poisoned and taking advantage of him, landing herself with another child. This child was born screaming and crying but ended up beautiful. Everything her mother had wanted. Everything the bitch tried to carve into the oldest. The starvation worsened much with the abuse. It wasn’t just burns and cuts, but now punching and horrid beatings with anything she could get her hands on. Resulting in cracked teeth, broken jaw, cracked skull, broken rips, hands and feet. The neglect seemed to never end. She grew used to it. The feeling of being alone, no love, no safety. Homelessness was her home. Though something happened that broke her. Something happened that made her lose all control of everything she ever had.
At the age of eleven years old, it finally happened. She had finally gotten a pet. A Morning Dove. She loved it beyond belief. It was her best friend. The only thing in the world that had ever loved her. It slept by her side, ate with her, helped her with anything and everything. Mother didn’t get her the bird, she got it herself with money she had saved up from years of work. This day was one of her favorite but most hated day of her life. It was the day she was given her most valued object and the day her best friend died.
The Morning dove had brought her a new looking shiny pendent that was made to hang on her forehead. It was early morning when she was given the item and it made her life. She was beyond happy she smiled as she held it tight to her chest. Though at that same moment her mother entered her bedroom, holding a glass bottle. Spotting the bird resting on her daughter’s shoulder, a hellish smirk appeared on her face as her grasp wrapped around the bird’s throat. Her grasp tightening and tightening almost seeming that the head might pop right off. Within a few seconds, that is exactly what happened. The blood splattered everywhere and covered the kids face. Her eyes widened as the body of the bird fell onto the floor into a puddle of its own blood just as her sister walked in. Standing there in total disbelief, she couldn’t remember what she did or what happened. She blacked out and woke to both her mother’s and sister’s head on her bed with their bodies in a pile. The mothers on top of the sisters. Their blood coated her hands and face along with the bird’s blood covering her chest. Everything she ever knew, was dead within what felt like a minute.
With two weeks after leaving the house filled with blood and memories, she was limping and stumbling. Her arms dragged by her side wild trudging along in rain and mud. She couldn’t go on any more, her body couldn’t take it though her mind begged to keep going even though she had no idea where she was going until she nearly faceplanted into the backdoor of a seemingly large hill-side built kingdom. At least someone would find her here. Within a matter of seconds, she fell on her side. Out cold.
