And the votes are in! (Good job @Holmishire you snuck in after midnight but before I woke up. So. Your vote is valid. xD)

RPGC #11 (Heatwave): Voting Results

Winner: The Watched Pot by @McHaggis!

Earning six of the seven votes that were cast, with the biggest margin in the history of RPGC, it's clear that The Watched Pot was an audience favorite. Congratulations McHaggis, and great work.

Runner Up: The Springs Gone By by @Keyguyperson!

As ever, Keyguyperson continues to impress with his epic works of historical fiction. Great work, Key, and congratulations.

Honorable Mentions: The Tenth Circle by @Silver and The Spark by @Esoteric!

While neither of these entries was awarded a vote, they were both marked as runner-ups in several reviewers' commentaries. Therefore it is only fitting that they both receive an honorable mention.

Judges' choice awards will be compiled at a later time, and trophies will be handed out at the same time. I believe we are still rather backed up on trophies but we will sort it out soon, I promise.

This marks the conclusion of RPGC#11. @Terminal, the floor is yours.

edit: Oh bother Aria did a derp don't hate me please

Voting and Disccussion Thread

Voting Deadline is October 18th at 11:59:59 PM!

Six entries this time around, with a wide variety! I think you'll enjoy reading through. A word of warning, though -- in keeping with the contest theme, a few of us (*ahem* me and @Keyguyperson *ahem*) maybe went a little overboard on our 'scary and disturbing' themes -- those entries were submitted with disclaimers/warnings/etc, so they're included here in the hiders, in case you'd like them. Now, for the usual:

1. If you didn't specify 'anonymous,' I won't have it anonymous. Incidentally, nobody specified anonymous, so nobody is anonymous. PM @mdk if that needs to be changed.

2. Only one poem this time around -- I've put it first, but there seems to be little need for a whole section break there.

3. One of our entrants requested their name at the END of the story, and well, it turns out I think that's cool, so we're doing it across the board.

4. Remember to vote by using the @Vote tag! It pings a count-account.

5. If I messed something up -- new internet installing right now, so the fix will have to wait a minute. Sorry!

Still here
