Once the cockatrice was dead, Winnifred walked over to the boy still tied up on the ground from Haruka's binds. "Beat, huh? I don't really get it," she said, listening to his story and looking at his weapon with a perplexed look on her face, "But... It doesn't sound like it should be a problem for us. Or at least for me anyway, I dunno about the others. But next time I suggest just joining a team ahead of time. I dunno about some people here, but I don't bite. Unless you turn out to actually be a weirdo stalker or something. I'll totally bite if that turns out to be the case. But, uh, since Haruka's the one who tied you up, I'll go ahead and make it her call on what to let you do." After she had finished speaking, she sat down on the ground to wait for the rest of her team to decide what to do and when to head back. "So, what stuff are you guys gonna want from that thing?" she asked.

Oh, I probably won't be available to post much later today, sorry! But I should be free for the rest of the weekend, I've got no plans tomorrow or Sunday.

As soon as Winnifred's second shot had landed a direct hit, she looked over briefly to assess the full situation, only to realize Haruka had made a swift change of course to target the newcomer just like Rian had a moment ago, even though the cockatrice was still up and moving about despite its injuries. "Wha - hey, hey, hey!" Winnifred shouted, then gestured towards the cockatrice and added, "This thing's only mostly dead, you know! Can't you save that for after?!" She then quickly turned her attention back to the cockatrice, letting out a deep breath to regain her focus. She held up her gun, taking aim for a third time. Surely, she hoped, this would be enough to finish it off. She'd been hoping to get this assignment finished quickly and without much hassle anyway. She pulled the trigger with another command of "Bang!" still aiming at the beast's head with the hopes of landing a finishing blow.

I feel like the entire cockatrice battle has been moving along super quick come to think of it. Though not too sure on an exact estimate.

As soon as Winnifred fire's the first shot getting a hit on the cockatrice's eye, she begins to aim again, only to be distracted for a moment by the sudden appearance of a fifth student, one she didn't recognize at all. Trying to keep an eye on both the other student and the cockatrice's movements as it tried to aim its venomous spit at Rian. Thankfully Rian was far too fast for it, so Winnifred at least didn't need to worry any about the team's healer getting petrified. She turned her attention back to the cockatrice, although she was still rather confused as she wasn't used to people suddenly appearing in the middle of assignments and it looked as though Rian was casting a spell targeted on the new arrival as well. Winnifred couldn't spare much attention to it though, as she was more concerned at the moment by the fact that the cockatrice had already started resorting to its petrifying spit. Something like that had to be stopped right quick. She took another deep breath, aiming at the cockatrice's head again. With any luck, this thing would go down any second. "Bang!" she said again, firing the second crippling shot. Winnifred was aware she'd already used up a good chunk of her energy with these charged shots, but she was sure she'd be able to use a couple more if she needed to.

Seeing the cockatrice reveal itself as it made its first attack towards Ryouta, Winnifred readied her gun, taking aim. Even though its attack had clearly connected with Ryouta, Winnifred was somewhat surprised and a bit impressed to see him pull some sort of teleporting escape out of the beast's claws. As soon as she saw Rian finish casting a spell, and the monster faltered in its movement, Winnifred took it as her chance. She focused a shot, studying the monster's movements closely, and tried to aim for its head. With a deep breath to steady herself, she pulled the trigger as she gave the command, "Bang!" She fired a shot at the cockatrice's head, hoping to land an effective hit right away and make this battle even easier, though she had enough experience with exbeasts to know it usually wasn't that simple.
