Name: Selma Olinda av Kyrka Agnes Eklund (guardian protector of the church Agnes Eklund)
Nickname: Agnes or Aggie
Age: 701, looks 15
Race: Kyrkogrimen - The Church Grim
Appearance:
Personality: She is not a welcoming person due to her reserved nature, and she is always cautious of unfamiliars. Whether it's the pastor or a wandering soul, she was always feared. Her anxiety of others is caused by the almost accidental fear she induced upon them, and Agnes is well aware of her power. She is extremely knowledgeable, for the heart of the grim sees into the eyes of creation. Since her job is so serious, she tends to be a serious person. She knows very little of the outside world, and is fraught with uncertainty of others, and appears nervous around her unknown surroundings. The lack of experience with people who weren't church goers has left her quite lonely, the only thing she can think of that delights her is the ringing of the church bells. Though it sounds like Agnes is unfriendly, she will respond when talked to, though responses will vary since she is timid towards strangers.

History: When Agnes was alive she was a servant to the wealthy home of the town's church pastor. There since she was a child, she became good friends with the pastor's son, William. Eventually they ended up falling into forbidden love, and when their secret was found out the two were permanently separated. There was a new church being built in town, and as tradition they bury an animal underneath the podium to ensure the church's safety. However instead of just the animal, they decided that a much better sacrifice could be made.

Agne's heart was encased within the sheep and buried under the church, her soul reincarnated into The Church Grim. She remembered not much of her living life, but now she knew so much more. Her soul was heavy because of the heart she bared, the heart that opens the eyes of the universe.

Her role of responsibility and protection has continued from the day she appeared, and when she left her church the feeling of freedom was almost uncomfortable. Her responsibilities included ringing the church bells during funerals signaling the soul's departure, as well as guarding the graveyard from thieves and robbers. Since most people couldn't see her, Agnes kept to herself. The people of the church were aware of her presence, sometimes the children would see her wandering the grounds or observing from the bell tower. The stormy weather signaled her appearance, and other signs of her presence was the ringing of the church bells at midnight, signaling that someone local was close to death. No one ever visited the church at night, for the people were worried of Agne's protection would be put against them. Only sometimes would there be a real threat, and it was Agne's purpose to defeat said evil.

During weddings they would ring the church bells loudly, and she always enjoyed that. Her life in the church was comfortable, but she always wondered what it was like on the outside world. She lived on at the same church for decades, never giving thought to the idea of leaving. She believed she couldn't because the body of the animal that rested underneath it's floors bound her from leaving, and she was destined to protect this church for eons. That's what she thought, anyways.

On New Years Eve, she would gather with some of her fellow myths and await the Year Walkers who seeked the future. Most people could never complete the ritual, for they usually were killed by the spirits that tempted them to their own deaths. She was the last step to the tradition, and her fellow spirits taunted the humans as much as they could to keep them from her heart. For the heart of dear Agnes saw into the eyes of creation. One could find their future and learn the mysteries of the universe.

Only one person was able to escape the Huldra's seductive ways, bypass the Brook Horse, and walk around the church in the correct pattern to meet The Church Grim. That man was none other than the old pastor's son, William. Agnes recognized him immediately, and she watched him traverse the snow covered wood towards the church. He always left flowers by the Willow Tree, yet no one was buried underneath it. Agnes liked to sit by the tree and watch the funeral procession, and sometimes he would look her way, as if he could see her.

One stormy night, a raven visited her in the graveyard. It perched on top of the old willow tree which resided next to the bodies of the dead. She looked at the raven, her eyes curious. Through the darkness the raven transformed into a man, someone she had never seen before. The man smiled devilishly at her, and Agnes replied with a suspicious squint. The man introduced himself as Achak Chogan of the night. With his name she seeked his past from behind closed eyes, learning about his life, his death. Ash would visit her at night, and they would talk among themselves during the night. Eventually they became good friends, and one day, Ash asked Agnes to leave this place. Ash had found a small town with a local church that was unprotected, and the two of them could stay there together. She declined his offer, for she was bound to the church for eternity. However, the raven reminded her that it was December, and the next person to die could become the Church Grim for this church. With this in mind, Agnes agreed to his suggestion, and once the last death of the year occurred, the two set off for Gravette.

Special Power/Weapon: Agnes has the power to manipulate time. She can see into the past and future, as well as slow down time, fast forward, and stop time. Her cosmic knowledge allows her to be aware of the mysteries of the universe, at least, whatever the Watchers tell her. She also has teleportation powers (similar to Blink from X-Men) which aid in her fighting style tremendously.
Other:
- she's wearing a wednesday addams like dress
- her eyes are usually super dark but when she's using her powers her eyes turn light grey, no pupils.
- she's very passive, and won't start up fights unless actually provoked or in danger
Everyone was able to find something relatively appealing about the Mundane's surface world, but Anon thought nothing of it. The bright daylight annoyed her, the people outside going about their daily lives, their immense ignorance of the truth. She sat upon the broken metal frame of a bed, one of the ones that just so happened to be left in the abandoned building they hid within. One single window lit up the cracked stone of what was their room, Anon stared outside at the light from what was apparently called the sun. The others found the star entrancing, but she thought of no such thing. She twirled the sunglasses around on her finger, they had given them glasses to hide their eyes from the public. It was a little strange to see such bright golden eyes on a person, and Anon's hair was different enough, she'd rather not bring any more attention to her appearance. She wondered if she was really the best fit to join this mission. The Uisilon was aware of her title, it was a rather large burden to bare. Her family was known to have Golden Uisilons in their DNA line, but Anon never imagined she would be the one to have the trait this time around.

Anon didn't sleep much that night, for she lied awake thinking of the mission. She thought of how their race was belittled and discriminated against enough to initiate their assassination plan, and she didn't object it much at all. She wasn't very friendly with the other people in their group, at least not yet. Lucas would help with that, he almost always knew what to say in those situations. In fact, most of the others in their group had gone out to explore the world, she didn't want anything to do with the Mundanes. She wasn't interested in their culture, the reminder of her family's death ran through her mind. Her hair fluffed from the electricity she generated, and her anger almost crumbled the glasses she held.

"You'll need those." Lucas said, sitting up with his bedridden hair. Anon's hair flamed from her surprise, and she looked over to him a little annoyed. He glanced down at the glasses, then back up at her. She then looked down at the sunglasses, the sun shined off of their shaded lens. Anon sighed, relaxing her hands, and placing the glasses in a pocket of her leather jacket. He was right, she shouldn't break them.

"Sorry.." Anon apologized with a sigh, looking back out the window, tracing her finger on a crack on the wall. Lucas looked at her curiously, the shadows had warned him she was feeling uneasy of this place.

Lucas, like the others, had developed a fondness for the nature of the surface, the blue sky and breeze of the air felt better than he ever could have imagined. He was troubled that Anon couldn't see the beauty of it all, for her heart was clouded with hatred - grey and angry like the ocean during a storm. Lucas rubbed his eyes with a hand, still trying to wake up. He had tried to persuade her to try and get some rest, but she refused. The others in the group thought she was just pissed about everything, and in a way she was, but Lucas knew that she was nervous. The boy swung his legs around and got up, his boots thumped on the concrete as he walked over to sit on the metal frame next to Anon.

"Hey.." He started, bending his head down to meet Anons eyes. "Don't wallow in hatred, look outside, and try to observe past all which you despise." Lucas stated poetically. Anon looked at him, her eyes somber, then glanced out the window. The sun did feel nice at least, it was warm and inviting. She smiled a bit, something that the girl almost never did. Lucas grinned in response, he knew she would listen to him.

It was then when laughter erupted from another room, and Lucas looked out their door curiously. "You can stay here if you want, it seems that some of the others are awake." He spoke, standing up. Anon looked over to watch him leave, deciding she might join the others later. Emphasis on might, since Anon wasn't usually very social.

Lucas walked into the room where two others sat, Joon and Saiwala. They seemed to be getting along fairly well, no reason he couldn't join in on their conversation. "Hello all." He greeted with a yawn, rubbing his eyes again though it still proved to be ineffective in helping him wake up. Lucas didn't see another chair or anything so he just decided to stand.
FINALLY DONE.

Name: Anon

Age: 18

Appearance:

Personality: Anon is a very self serving, independent individual who can perfectly take care of herself. She is not the girl who stands behind others, nor is she the one to wait for others to act before doing so herself. She is canny, practical, and courageous – determined to easily maneuver through crowds to reach towards her goal. Other than her seemingly positive traits, Anon is cold, serious, and an extremely vengeful Uisilon. Others will be subjected to her stone exterior as well, for she is not selective of those who must deal with her personality - Uisilon or Mundane. Her strong but silent nature makes it hard for others to feel anything similar to sympathy, not to mention it’s very difficult to make friends. The only person she truly trusts is the one who saved her - Lucas. He sees her for who she really is, her true self shows when around him. It is quite easy to get her mad, her bright red hair almost reflects her hot-tempered personality. Sparks fly off as her eyes burn an electric indigo at her enemies. It is not wise to muck around with her, she could easily shock you into the next world.

History: In the past, it was known that her family carried the Golden Uisilon trait. Many of her family members were in the forces which attempted to destroy the evidence of their lives.

However, during one of their missions, some of the Uisilons got caught. Anon’s family made up a large part of that group, and they were killed mercilessly by the Mundanes. Her grandmother was one of the 5 Golden Uisilons that existed during that time, and was also part of the group that got caught. She gave up her golden title and sacrificed herself for the sake of their family - and so in a burst of lightning the woman eradicated the opposing forces, along with herself. Anon was told of this power from the day she could speak, how the golden title was passed down through her family, skipping a generation each time.

Anon was an single child, and it was a rather lonely life. Not many friends, most of the children made fun of her appearance – her bright red-orange hair was the main target of ridicule. Her mother and father had not joined the others in their family to destroy the traces of their race in order to live a more peaceful life on the surface. They took care of her as much as they could, but eventually went to join the others, for the sake of living properly. Anon was only 11 when an officer came to tell her of the news, that her parents suffered a similar fate as her past relatives did.

Her great capability was revealed as she matured, for she stumbled upon it while punishing children who made fun of her in the streets of the underground city. She was angry at those who killed her parents, at the children who ridiculed her, and she was scared. Anon had suffered a great deal from that fight, the other kids had gotten her pretty good before they got a piece of her. That was when she met Lucas, the young boy whom saved her life.
Years after she was told of a group whose purpose was to go up to the surface and destroy the devilish Mundanes who desolated their great race. There was no hesitation, Anon immediately joined in. Her rank was well known to most in the city, and she would do anything to avenge her family.

Rank: Gold Uisilon

Power: Electrokenisis

Stance on whether or not to retaliate against the Mundanes(Reason Why): “I am not against any sort of retaliation, in fact, I am a great supporter. It’s disgusting, what the Mundanes have done to us. They will pay for what they did to my family.”

Name: Lucas

Age: 16

Appearance:

Personality: Lucas couldn’t be more different from Anon, and their personalities perfectly balance each other out. Though he is not as brave or cunning, Lucas understands the world and it’s mysteries much more than anyone else. His parents were very spiritual, teaching his siblings and him the great wonders of their world and their race. Honest and charismatic, Lucas easily talks his way through any sort of conflict – for it is his preferred way of solving disputes. He is polite and selfless, never wanting to intrude on anyone’s current conversation. He is also very easy to get along with, and is always glad to make new acquaintances – much more cheerful than his friend. However positive his traits appear to be, Lucas tends to think lowly of himself, not realizing his true potential as the 2nd highest Uisilon known. Lucas’s powers easily change his identity to mirror his partner’s serious demeanor – especially during dire times. His family line is known to possess the power to manipulate the shadows, it brings a sort of mystery and intensity to his overall self.

History: Lucas lived in the underground city with his two sisters. His parents were local doctors, and sometimes tagged along during surface missions to destroy the evidence of their race. He learned a lot of things from his family, for they largely influenced his personality as he matured. They taught him and his sisters basic medical tactics, so that when and if neither of them were around they could take care of themselves.

At a young age Lucas discovered his love for helping others. He was always the one to break up fights, always helping whoever needed it – whoever he thought deserved it. His parents taught him about the Uisilons, teaching them how they were banished from the surface because they were different and seen as a threat. They spoke of spiritual beings, magical items, all sorts of things to spark their imagination. They believed in divine entities, and such thoughts helped preserve the powers which Lucas contained.

He has a rather different power than most Silver Uisilons. The capability to manipulate the darkness, his parents didn’t expect him to have such a somber skill. They were proud, however, that he obtained such a rare form of ability. Lucas had trouble controlling his powers at first, they were rather chaotic. His mother helped him train his powers so he could control them, and what a great teacher she made. Lucas was able to use his powers to help others, and though strange, it worked rather well.

Unfortunately, years later, his mother died a sudden death. She was called to the surface to help some Uisilons who were hurt from a abrupt attack. No one survived, no one came back home after that. The walls twisted and seemed to change, shadows moved across the floor as the young Lucas cried. He was truly devastated, and a hatred towards the Mundanes boiled inside him.

It was then when he found his counterpart, Anon. She was lying behind a wall, bruised and bloody. At first, the boy was too solemn to help her. But then he remembered, his mother would want him to help, she would want him to continue their work. He brought Anon home and fixed her up, bandaging her wounds. It was then when he realized her golden status, and after, their friendship blossomed.

Stance on whether or not to retaliate against the Mundanes(Reason Why): “They killed my mother. She showed me what the world looked like, through her eyes. She made me who I am today, and those, humans, will pay for hurting our race so blindly.”
OMG ;;;
Pfpfpfpt sorry its so long;;;
Her nervousness was getting to her, yet the little witch girl knew that there would be nothing to fear anymore. Anaïs wondered if she was the only one still alive. She assumed that those who appeared into the pond were ones that had died, and since she had arrived there bruised but living, Anaïs couldn't help but curiously scan the rest of them. One of the girls had spontaneously thrown themselves into the water, a giggle erupted from the little witch - it was pretty funny. After laughing to herself she made eye contact with one of the women chosen, and as the other nodded her way she gave a weak smile before quickly looking back out towards the water. Anaïs was never one to look in the eyes of those who conversed with her, her gaze always looked down as if she did something wrong. She also felt a little embarrassed for laughing, the older woman seemed to be mature and confident. The woman's body practically glowed in the moonlight, it was rather strange, Anaïs noted they all had some sort of aura. She looked down at her book, wondering if it was the cause of this new sight.

Her thoughts were interrupted when the firey haired girl began to speak again. Mena explained their rooming situation, it didn't excite Anaïs one bit. It sounded a lot like the 'home' she lived in for all her years, and that was a place she never wanted to go back to. She couldn't even think about it without cringing, all the times she was teased or mocked, was there any safe place for her to be in peace? She told herself to lighten up, for it was all over now. The other girls chosen didn't seem to be of the mocking kind, except for the green eyed girl, Anaïs made a note to watch out for her. She could defend herself, however the thought of killing them was out of the question. They were mostly already dead, what was the point?

Her mind had wandered and she didn't notice the groups movement. Jogging a little to catch up, the 6 of them proceeded through the waterfall - Anaïs was intrigued by their seemingly waterphobic selves - and Mena led them down a rocky corridor. Their footsteps clicked up against the stone - the little witch was tempted to use her wand to light their way, for it was rather dark within the cavern. Though once they got farther in there were light fixtures scattered down the cavern, and thus the thought was pushed away.

Anaïs continued to listen to Mena speak, becoming a little anxious from the thought of being next to someone she didn't want to be next to. At least they got their own rooms, much better than that dreaded orphanage. It still reminded her of the place though, she shivered a little from the bad memories.

Anaïs watched as the green eyed girl and the one that jumped into the pond picked out their rooms. It seemed appropriate for her to follow their footsteps, but she didn't want to be next to the crazier one, so she chose the room closest to the entrance. Sure it might be a little cold at times, but it was nothing she couldn't handle. Besides, now that she actually had magic, she could easily concoct herself a blanket or heating device.

"I'll take this one.." She said quietly, and proceeded to enter the room of her choosing. It wasn't as bad as she had thought, though the furniture could use some spiffing up. Anaïs placed her book on the dresser, moving the lamp so she could see the words move along the page. Flipping through she noticed that some of the pages in the back - originally blank - began to fill with words, her eyes sparkled to see new spells for her to try. Finally once she picked out the proper spell, she repeated the strange language out loud, copying the instructions for which she should wave her wand. Suddenly the tip began to glow a pinkish hue, and with a smile Anaïs began to redecorate her room. The floor was given a plush carpet, her bed was dressed with a new mattress, sheets, and of course a warm comforter to top it off. The dresser transformed into a taller case, it's decorative markings were of what she imagined. Pointing her wand to the opposite wall she placed a mirror, next to it a small bookshelf. There were no books yet, but she hoped to collect some more while she stayed here. The small alcove became a shelf, and as she was about to change the walls Anaïs stopped herself. It might be too much, she thought, unsure what decorating she was allowed to do. She also didn't know the reverse spell, so it was best that she left it as is.

Anaïs smiled, deciding she was satisfied with her room's new look, the pinkish color quickly vanished from her wand for it's work was done. She opened the door to see what the others were doing, her new furniture visible out of the doorway. Anaïs thought about going to ask Mena questions, but she wasn't sure exactly what to ask. The little witch was plastered onto the walls as a naked girl ran past her, Anaïs giggled as the girl stumbled over the others in a rush to get outside.
Mine seems so small compared to everyone elses aha;;
Anaïs carefully watched as the others were dipped within the lake she sat in front of, it's sparkling waters tempted her to settle within it. As the splash of one new member sprayed towards her a drop of the cool liquid landed on her bloody rose thorned arms. Part of her patterned wound healed, miraculously. She looked down at her arm in disbelief, all the spells and healing enchantments she tried didn't work yet this water from the pond easily cleared up a patch of her skin. Anaïs decided she should join in on their rejuvenating swim, though she didn't dip her entire self into it, only her arms and legs. They were the most affected anyways, no harm done.

She splashed the water onto her face as well, and the marks dissipated mostly - only the scars of thorns and vine remained, as if a reminder of what happened. How wonderful, she thought to herself. Suddenly, as if she had spaced out for quite a while, someone began to speak. Anaïs looked around to see there were more people now, and a redheaded girl began to inform them on their next steps. Her eyebrows furrowed, such strange words the girl spoke.

Pure souls? She repeated in her mind. How ridiculous. Anaïs couldn't understand the logic, how could she possibly be what they claimed a 'pure soul'. As the goddess was introduced, her words continued to flow around the environment, Anaïs was getting rather antsy. She rather enjoyed hearing about such duties, but no matter how greatly important they were, she felt unqualified. How could she possibly be the one to help serve the goddess? It made no sense to her. She looked down heavily on herself, her confidence was clouded by fog within her heart.

She almost backed down and denied their request. The little witch didn't think she could do it, and just as she was about to say no, she watched the others accept the and recite the oath. That made her reconsider, for some odd reason. Anaïs looked up at the moon, it glimmered off her silver eyes. She thought it would be better to just be reincarnated as someone else, maybe then she would be able to live a better life than the one she was originally chosen. Her was young, for it had only been reincarnated a few times. Of course she remembered nothing of those other lives, and she passed by those wondering thoughts.

Anaïs sighed, the choice had to be made now, she was out of time to speculate. Painfully bending down on one knee - her legs felt heavy from anxiety - she recited the oath in her small voice. "through bow or blade, through shield or fist, I vow to protect my Lady Goddess. Through blood and soul, through mind and heart, I vow to my Lady, to do my part." Once spoken, the witch took out her wand, it's metallic surface shimmered slightly in the light of the moon. She carefully placed it into the water, hoping there would be no complications, afraid that it would spew out angry magic or something else her paranoid brain could construct. Anaïs lifted her wand out of the pool, it shimmered even more in the light than before. She waved it around a bit, the tip spewed golden sparks, she smiled silently.

One of the new guardians spoke to the group, she stayed silent.
Why all this yelling..
