Thanks! Supposed to give a bit of a taste as to how they run things
Alden Scout, owner and Captain of the ship Two for Flinching for the past twelve years with his partner Tanna Barrett, or Tommy as she prefers to go by. The two of them met during the Colony Wars, when planets were being fought over by different factions for expansion. They served together for several years before getting out and going into the business of bullets and bounty. They've got a bit of a reputation now in their field as reliable hires and effective when it comes to whatever job they choose to take on.

Scout is in his mid thirties, not a man of impressive height but he doesn't need that to make himself heard or seen. Sharp grey eyes and dark brown hair, he's almost always wearing some sort of crooked smile if not a hard glare. He's a quick draw, likes his knives, and has knack for coming up with plans on the fly and running things on a whim. He'll back up his talk without a moment's thought and has a knack for seeming to create trouble wherever he goes in his down time. A junkie for a good fight, but knows when to put his fists down when it comes to his own people and get things straight. Doesn't mean he always goes with the right choice.

Tanna 'Tommy' Barrett keeps him in check, even if she is just his second. A brawler despite her smaller build, Tommy can hold her own in a fight and has dragged Scout out of more then one close call. At the moment she's flying the ship, got a basic knowledge of the controls but has never claimed to be an expert pilot. She keeps the Two'fer going though between pit stop repairs and the skin of their teeth. Blonde and blunt Tommy doesn't really like beating around the bush, leaving the fast talking to her partner while she'll cover his back.

they've been around each other for the majority of their lives now, and have seen their fair share of arguments and fights over how things should work in their little business but both of them have agreed that bigger pay is gonna need a bigger crew. That's where all of you guys come in. If you're looking for coin and aren't afraid to fight for it you're their type, and if you've got a skill that makes you more then the average wanna be Merc with their daddy's first pistol then they'll pull you on board. Careful though, doesn't mean they're gonna trust you. It'll have to take a few stints in the thick of it to see how that goes.

Keeping CSs pretty informal. Feel free to post it as your character trying to sell themselves as a good hire or a resume if you want. Have fun with it guys, I'll be doing the same.
“Well look at you, aren’t you all shiny and hopeful huh? Knock it off, ain’t got time for that shit. My name is Alden Scout, some of you may’ve heard of me. You have, then you know to keep your damn mouth shut when I’m talkin’. And you know I’m in the business of bullets and bounty, Mercenaries for hire me and my partner Tommy Barrett here. Lately we’ve been lookin to upgrade our score card and resume. Which has got me feelin generous, and is ultimately why all you rooks are sittin here yeah?

So open up your ears cause we’re takin on a crew for this latest gig we got. No, I’m not tellin you details ‘afore you’re even in my ship don’t think me for a fool. We’re looking for the best, rough round the edges is alright we’ll make you pretty. But we don’t have time for hand holdin or babysittin. Alright, Tommy here does but I don’t, my itchy finger just gets the best of me when I have to listen to whining I’m sure you can relate.

So, why don’t you all make your case? Tell me what you can do, better yet show me. Better be able to back up your talk or my partner here will have to race me to see which one of us can get you out an airlock faster. Come on up one at a time, no need to rush. Limited spots an all sure, but if you’re good then you got ‘em and I’ll be lettin ya step on up here and join us in the Two For Flinching. You’d be the first in awhile in here save for us who isn’t visitin in restraints. Tommy?”

“Could mean for a fun time Scout. Alright then brats who’s first."

Des didn't budge when he was shoved, digging in his boot heels and glaring at Kacey with a clenched jaw. Practically growling he took a step towards her, not seeming too have been discouraged by the insults and the physical berating he had just received. he didn't see Cin and Laura running to intervene from behind, to focused on, in his opinion, the jumped up bitch who had just slapped him to try and put him in his place. Desmond didn't loose his temper often. Sure he was smartass who called people out on their shit at a moment's notice or stirred the pot. But rarely did he actually get emotionally involved in a fight like this one.

"Listen here, bitch," he started with a snarl, "As I said, you don't own me. And I ain't scared of a slap and a few bold cusses. Words are words. You think that's what it takes to kick me into line with the rest of your little followers? You gotta 'nother think coming. And I don't need you. Next time you-"

"Des!" Cin came to a slipping stop next to him, basically running into him and her boots sending up a cloud of dust as she nearly collided with him. Grabbing his arm she tugged, keeping her eyes on him as she pulled with all her weight away from Kacey. This didn't need to go any further, she was sure enough damage had been done. Des tended not to hold back when he got quiet angry, and Cin didn't want to risk Kacey putting a bullet in him for his temper.

"Hey Des, I got a few more rounds why don't you try to teach me that trick shot again huh?" She suggested, not giving up on tugging him away from the woman even when he did give a step or two. Tearing his eyes away from Kacey to look down at Cin. He wasn't stupid to what she was doing, no matter how much he wanted to finish his sentence. "C'mon, I bet I get it this time, lets go huh?"
"Oh I don't know shit about it?" Des didn't seem ready to back off yet, even though he'd gotten what he wanted. Cin was to come along on a heist, finally. Hopefully that would be enough to calm her. Even if things went back a pace afterwards, there was the chance Kacey would see Cin's potential though and start giving her a bit more responsibility in the gang's actions. But right now, he didn't see her as the gang leader. He saw her as petulant and throwing a fit, and he didn't have the patience for that. Des wasn't one to willingly suffer those he called fools.

He didn't back down, instead stepping forward and growling,

"Blood or not, that girl is my sister much as Laura is yours. You telling me you wouldn't go toe to toe for her much as you pretend otherwise? Not buying it, I'm calling bull. And I'm not askin you to take responsibility for us. We may run in your gang but you don't own us. Cin'll prove she's useful herself, I won't have to do nothin. And all you gotta do? Is stay out of her way when she steps up. She ain't your sister, she's mine, and I'm not gonna let you kick her down because that's how you got Laura under your boot or whatever the hell other reason you might have."

He stopped rather abruptly, already turning away from Kacey and scowling in annoyance with his own inability to keep his mouth shut. "Say the word when you wanna move out." He said in a louder voice over his shoulder, already walking briskly in the direction he had seen Laura and Cin head off in to go shoot. "We'll be ready."
"You'll think about it?" Des was going to let it lie there, ignoring the fact that Kacey seemed to be walking away from him and following after her pointedly. "Better do more then that. Damn well more." He had had similar conversations like this with Kacey before, but was getting a little tired of feeling like he wasn't being listened to. Desmond understood the importance of defined leadership and status in a gang like this, but being heard was just as important. especially when it involved Cin. He wasn't going to get brushed off again just because Kacey didn't feel like having this conversation right now.

"Listen, I've seen enough of your work with this crew to know your legit. Hell I've done enough work for you to see that. But Cin? Shes young yeah, but she's no idiot. And she ain't your sister either. So stop shafting her like she is and start treating her like a member of this damn gang and not an accessory." He didn't raise his voice, dropping it instead and speaking in a tone little more then a growl as he glared at Kacey from beneath the brim of his hat.

"You might've gotten away with that shit when it was Laura you were kicking in the dirt, but Cin isn't gonna take it lying down. You ain't blood to her, and sooner rather then later she's gonna walk. And if she walks I walk. And you'll be out two riders cause you can't stand having someone talk back to you with good reason. Hell, solid shame right there."
