Violence is not the answer. It's the question. The answer is yes.
Psh, more like Pew, Reload, Pew.
Undependent.

I mostly lean to the left, with a big exception of gun rights. I'm a strong proponent of those.

Tend to vote against the party that pissed me off the most in the election cycle.
Changed my CS.
Yeah, it's honestly my bad, I overlooked that relationship, I'll change my character's background. Perhaps, I should make a Hunter NPC, because honestly militia duty and hunting rely on completely different skills.
I could rewrite my background if you want.
Yup if that's not a problem. The description says that he's teaching hunting to young men.
Name: Nikolas Jager
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Class: Ranger(Level 0)

What you want to be when you grow up?
Nikolas is a shy young man and is a target of teasing and bullying by the other youths of the village. He tends to avoid most social interactions, preferring the solitude of the woods to the company of people. This aloof demeanor is merely a facade to protect him from others. Nikolas would love to participate in games and group activities. His greatest wish is to be accepted as a part of the group.

Who is your mentor?
Old Man Hoth. Hoth is an old human Ranger of the village, way past his prime. He walks with a noticeable limp, and his hands are warped by arthritis. Still he is a fountain of knowledge on the Flora and Fauna of the surrounding area, especially trolls. Hoth no longer trains hunting to the young men of the village, allowing Serath to take over that duty. He stopped Nikolas from running away and took him under his wing. Nikolas proved to be a very eager student and developed a very close bond with his mentor.

What person(s) of interest do you know in the village? Who all do you have a relationship with?:
Old Man Hoth: An old Ranger that teaches Nikolas archery and the subtleties of Ranger skills.
Old Autry: Nikolas met her in the forest during one of his solo outings. He occasionally gathers herbs for her.
Jathro Jager: Nikolas’ father. There is no real relationship here anymore. They reside in the same house but ignore each other's presence.

Equipment:
Mother’s composite short bow.
A quiver with 20 arrows.
Hunting Knife.
Cloak.

Brief Biography: (Tell us where you came from and how you were raised.)
Jathro and Nikolas Jager are relative newcomers to the village. Jathro moved to the village a year ago after his wife has passed away from an illness. Her death was a serious blow to Jathro and he still hasn’t recovered from it. He moves through live in a daze, taking an occasional menial job to put food on the table. He’s considered a village idiot by most of the villagers and seems to be oblivious to existence of his son. More often than he could count, Nikolas had to resort to scavenging, to feed himself.
Unsurprisingly, Nikolas became a prime target of taunts and bullying from the village children. He’s become adept at avoiding his tormentors. Several months ago he decided to escape the constant ridicule by running away. His attempt was thwarted by Hoth however. Instead of punishment, the old Ranger offered Nkolas a chance to learn the Ranger trade. Nikolas is extremely grateful to Hoth for the lessons and respects him deeply.

Class Skills:
Archery: Nikolas is a very promising archer. He practices archery daily, though he still lacks real world experience.
Survival/Tracking: Over countless outings with Hoth, Nikolas learned the basics of wilderness survival and animal tracking.
Spot: Nikolas took Hoth’s lessons about the importance of attention to detail to heart.
Knowledge (nature): Nikolas has a working knowledge of the wildlife and plants in the surrounding forests and moors.

Villager Skills:
Hide: Over time Nikolas learned how to avoid unwanted attention of his peers.
Craft(Bowmaking): Nikolas knows how to maintain and fix his bow (in theory). Can create simple arrows.
Climb: Climbing trees is a great way to avoid bullies.

Oh hush, you'll scare him off.

Shh, that's my only weakness, the criticism of the anonymous peoples on the internets.
Fair enough, I'll rework it so it fits the lore.
