FLORIAN SABINOV

The time Florian spent in his bed just reminiscing of things and thinking about what could be helpful to the case felt longer than it actually was. Forty minutes long casual lying on that ugly yet unusually comfortable bunk and alas the announcement finally came. They are at their first landing already. He decided to get his things and take them downstairs to meet with everyone else. It wouldn't be too long after the first drop before his team has to set out as well. He tightly gripped the large suitcase expecting to struggle with it, but it was as light as feather and he seems to forget it every time, its size being quite an eye fooler. As he made his way down he noticed many have already assembled in the meeting room, ready for departure.

A room quite large, almost inexplainably, given the house's appearance from the outside. It had a very high ceiling with two majestic chandeliers hanging from above, covering every inch of the room in their light. Walls are tall and covered in some very dark wood up to the middle with exquisite designs while the other half that connected them to the ceiling was coated in wallpapers. Large entrance on one side, wide enough to fit four average humans standing shoulder to shoulder, and a pair of tall windows on the opposite end, starting somewhere at the hip level and stretching all the way up, just barely short of the ceiling. Most of the room itself was fairly empty as far as furniture goes. It was meant for assembling teams before going on missions and on some occasions house parties.

He approached the group not saying anything, just creeping up with his giant suitcase which he then casted aside. Seems as though the Texas case team was exchanging information about their case, which to Florian meant nothing so he stayed out of it. Finally, his team assembled just as well on the side, forming a circle of their own with his partner sharing valuable information to the rest of the crew. Florian listened carefully trying not to miss a single detail. Loads of unusual stuff and he wasn't sure what to make of it without further examination. Shortly after finishing her dictation, Bunny made her way over to Florian, almost pushing up against him which made him feel slightly uncomfortable. While he was trying to figure out how to get out of it, he noticed with the corner of his eye that Nickie was spectating the event for a brief moment. "Is she jealous?"- he pondered keeping her in sight for a second then looking away not to give her any ideas. After all, they never did have a talk about what happened that one time. He's not the type to settle down for a relationship and he didn't think it would be an issue with her, either. But it's been a fairly awkward situation ever since, and he's been wondering if she had actually taken it to heart. As a result he's been limiting his contact with her to a minimum, not opting to tell her directly. After all, he was never a big conversationalist anyway.

And finally the time came for the first team to leave the premises. As they departed, Florian's group slowly prepared itself as well, getting a hold of their luggage that was scattered around and slowly assembling in the lobby before getting off. "Looks like we're here." - he stated as the house was now slowly descending in some remote area of California, supposedly not too far from the crime scene.
Children who agree to this go missing and later are found with their teeth pulled out and their eyes gorged out with a fork.

@Xilaw@Lauder

I think the conversation is interesting and love the copious use of Gif and Meme

Well back to Dumbfoundead

Lol, you should join the chat then, cause apparently I got it wrong.
@Lauder I'm an idiot, 'cause the answer is literally staring at me, taunting.

PS: If I'm embarrassing (lol, if.) myself I'd like to say that I've been drinking. Hopefully it minimized the damage.
@Lauder ah the centuries old question and the centuries old vague answer that's okay, don't answer, you're not the first I asked and made it awkward

I notice a lot of people on this site hide their gender. Not sure why it's a big deal, though.
@Lauder I expect nothing less. Lad.

@Lauder and I have decided to spice things up a little extra. I've edited my Impressions list in the CS tab for anyone wondering what's up.

DYLAN CRANE

Another day gone by, the sun setting behind the small red-brick buildings of the small town of Holland with it's last beams of light barely piercing through the blinds of Lou's Vinyl. Dylan was on his way to the place just in time to close the locale and say another routine good night to his boss and best friend, Lou. He took one more hit from his cigaratte before throwing it aside just in time to enter the store. His hand firmly grasped around the door's handle pulled it downwards and pushed the large glass barrier encased in iron.

As he put his first foot inside the shop an endearing bell sound went off right above him, a small copper alarm device Lou put up to know when someone gets inside his little disc store. He closed the door behind him with one hand, while the other one brushed against his hair strands, pushing his thick black hair aside. The place was fairly empty with slightly dimmed lighting, one bulb sporadically flickering in the background while an older man was casually brushing the floor few feet away. Lou looked up, his right hand still holding the brush while he swiped his sweaty forehead with the left one: "Thought you said you fixed the lightbulb", insinuating at the one flickering in the back. "Oh, yeah." - Dylan responded, not flinching for a second, slowly walking over to the older gentleman, reaching out his right hand as in to take the brush from him: "I thought I did."

Lou just gave him a smirk as he left the stick in the boy's hands to continue the work. "Finish up here and get to bed. We got a lot to do tomorrow." - Lou continued as he made his way towards the storage to leave his working hat: "We have a delivery coming in."

"The new CDs I told you about?" - Dylan inquired while leisurely brushing away the dirt off the white tiles that were laid around the shop.
"Yup, those." - Lou continued as he now strolled towards the doors.
"I'm telling you, those will sell a lot more than this crap." - as he pointed around the vinyl disks, Lou's favorite.
"Hey, we may be close but you don't get to disrespect Righteous Brothers." - the veteran exclaimed in a serious manner, but gave a small grin at the end just to make Dylan sure he was kidding. The boy smiled back as he continued swabbing: "Good night, Lou."

"Good night, kiddo."

The doors closed, the night finally arrived and Dylan finished up. He left the broom in the back, went back to the door and turned the sign on them so that the "Closed" side was facing the outside and promptly locked them while pulling down the small curtain fixed just above the glass. He then turned the lights off and slowly made his way back to his room where his loyal friend Miles was. The small pup hastily jumped off the bed and onto Dylan's legs. He gave the dog a quick rub on the head and then took his clothes off, set up the alarm clock lying just next to his bed and laid down. With both hands tucked under his resting head and Miles curled up between his legs he quickly fell asleep, tired from another long day.

DREAMWORLD

Not much longer after closing his eyes, Dylan found himself deep in a dream. However this was no ordinary dream as he realized. At first he thought it was another one of those dreams where you become aware of it, but this felt a little different. Not only did it appear to be very convenient to do whatever he wanted to, he realized it felt too real to be a dream and it scared him a bit. It was a dark space with a light breeze that gently caressed his skin. It wasn't necessarily dark, just void of any content as it seemed, because he could quite vividly see himself, despite no apparent light source present. It was disturbingly realistic yet clearly unreal. He felt a little anxious to be experiencing something like this and was unusure how to snap out of it. Not much longer, from this vast void that stretched in all directions into the unknown, an eerie echo suddenly announced itself: "What...? What is this place...?"
Despite all his instincts going against it, he decided to head in it's direction regardless.
@Sarcelle Renard dood I just now realized we're in the same two RPs.

I've been telling myself I'll do it tomorrow morning, then after lunch, then before bed. Basically how I deal with life. I'll try to get something done today. I'm about to pop a beer so I'll probably have more inspiration. My mind works like God - in mysterious ways.
