I like the Username thing that's happening, but why are my name's blacked out? @Mahz

We can still see them for moderating purposes, but there are several reasons why people want to have their name changed and don't wanna be remembered by their old name.

Keep an eye out for site updates.

Oh no, are you suggesting? The blue check mark? Lol, but that's a fair idea. Just like a nice little tick to show that the user has a verified email.

Another thing that could be useful for keeping bots out is making it mandatory that the user makes a intro post, as well as maybe a captcha if you can implement that sort of thing into making sure someone is in fact using a real email and is a person.

Wait til you see the daily subscription fees. Not monthly... Daily. Mwahaha

We can do a bit of that with the Verification too, but some bots are getting smarter to bypass that. Currently from memory you can't add a bio until you add a profile pic. That in itself could swap to the verify mode.
Verified.

Is there a way to add that someone has been Verified to their Profile Page so that people can see who is legit and not?
Now we can see all the cringe past usernames.
Someone I was talking to made the odd suggestion that the old guild chat be brought back, dunno why really. Maybe cause most of us don't even use the guild discord, or rather in public. 🤷‍♂️

Thinking about it...That would be horribly archaic.

It is another case of moderation where if a mod wasn't active some weirdness could happen. Technically... It still exists
By any chance are you using the back button?

So what can happen is that you can re-enter the Inbox through an old cached version, meaning it may have an old session preloaded. Usually refreshing the page sorts this out.

You can also replicate a similar effect by editing a post, saving it, and then clicking on the top right hand link to look at the Raw text version. The only way out is through the back button but that will lead back to the old session on your computer of the post. The edits have been saved to the site server but the browser is trying to reduce how much data it downloads by utilizing the temporary internet files.
