She stands at about 5'10 and is thin and lanky, mostly due to her diet of whatever father is growing on his farm. Her face is square-ish and pale, which are showed off in full form thanks to Sybil's mother, who believes that a woman's hair should never cover the face at all. And so, the thick, white-blonde hair of her's is normally curled up tightly behind her head in a flat bun. Sybil's lips are somewhat large and always curled into a pout, while her nose is small and rounded. Her eyes seem to be blue-gray, and almost have a silvery appearance to them. Normally seen wearing the usual puritan outfit for a maiden. Personality: Sybil is timid, to say the least. Her family's rather pushy attitude towards everything had a negative effect on the poor girl, and she lost her ability to speak up for herself and instead became someone who simply followed the rules, despite her utter hate for most of them. She is extremely quiet and polite in public, only speaking when spoken to and even if that happens it is with short sentences. Because of her soft-spoken nature, though, Sybil has gained somewhat of an air of mystery to her. Whether that is a good or bad thing is entirely undecided, though, as many people in Warren are rather scared of mysterious things. When alone (or with a close friend or her sister) she is a bit more open, which shows in her imaginative stories and endless curiosity that can sometimes lead to trouble. Surprisingly, Sybil is somewhat mischievous, and loves to play pranks on the other villagers when she is sure no one is watching, and she also sometimes steals glances into her father's books to read about leadership and other things that women were not apart of. Sybil is also very, very stubborn when it comes to certain things, especially if it concerns her rights, and even though it would be rude to speak up against it she does show her distaste through exaggerated facial expressions and refusal to move or speak until she gets what she wants. She is also somewhat moody, and can have mood swings that range from being content one second to full on quietly screaming the next. No one, not even Sybil herself, knows what caused these swings, but it's best to stay calm when they happen as the worse moods pass quickly. Her imagination is also rather large, and Sybil has plenty of stories and dreams to share with her older sister, Truth, who is more then happy to listen. Very studious, and is extremely interested in books of all kind and writing (has a stash of writings and a few, not-so-religious books she had managed to get her hands on under her bed). Normally keeps journals about her dreams, most of which are very well detailed. Background: Sybil was born into a hard-working farming family, just five years after her older sister, Truth. Her mother, Maria, and father, Joseph, were very much in control of the household, and both were rather pushy towards their children. Church this, school that, there was no time for breaks. Both daughters were forced into the seamstress life, taught not to complain, and slowly they began to grow apart from their parents. Began to become more secretive, willing yet mischievous behind closed doors. Consequently, that meant the sisters became much closer. They spoke often and enjoyed each others company, despite their obvious personality differences. Sybil was quiet, Truth was a well-known gossiper, Sybil was studious and Truth could care less about books, but despite all this they are still as close as two sisters can be. When Sybil was younger, she used to dream often. The dreams were rather obscure but somewhat symbolic, and even now she could remember some of the things that went on. As she grew up, though, she began to remember her dreams less and less, but they continued either way. She has recently began to keep dream journals in hope that perhaps she'll begin to dream more frequently once again. The Barwicke family has been rather quiet about the prospect of witches, but there has been rather scary gossip about the eldest sister, Truth...
