I am not shooting it down; I am merely saying that there are things which necessarily have to be corrected before this kind of system can be implemented - since at the current state, the remainder of the site's mechanics is bound to break the table-format you suggested up.

I do not oppose new ideas, but I maintain that some additions should be witheld until they can be made work *well*, and furthermore insist that all extras should be opt-out. EVERYTHING which is not IC/OoC thread and plain text ought go be opt-out. 

And never forget that fixing a bad system is a much more arduous process than thinking things through before throwing anything new out there.
