So... that was his favor? Telling her his name? She gave him another exasperated look before turning to the window and following his gaze. The stars were like diamonds on a backdrop of purple and black. They were so pretty, she wished she could keep one for herself. But there were more... devious matters on her hands at the moment. As she walked to the window she caught sight of a couple of wyvern and Pegasus riders, enough to make a platoon. As their shadows passed over the city, she could see that the people were terrified. They hid in their little houses and shut their doors. Fear started up in her heart, but she quickly pushed it away. No. She had to fight, she had to. If she was going to defend these people, she had to stand her ground. "A platoon of winged riders." she turned to Zaino, who had smashed a spider against a wall. It was sort of amusing, but now wasn't the time for that. Her eyes narrowed as she trembled. Stay calm stay calm stay calm- "Your sword is in that corner, along with your armor." and with that, she began to pull on her quiver and her bow. The quiver rattled as it was swung over her back, and she pulled out an arrow and knocked it onto her bow. The red haired woman, trembling even more now with anxiety, darted out of the room, careful not to bump into Trina of course, and out of the inn. She grunted as a gust of wind filled with sand filled her face, but she brushed the grit out of her eyes and aimed at a Pegasus rider. She breathed slowly now, focusing on the wingbeats of the Pegasus and calculating where it would be every few seconds. The silver tip of her bow followed it as the beast and her rider glided on the air. And then, she let it go. The arrow wooshed through the air, embedding itself into the snowy white pelt of the Pegasus. She could see red blossom even from where she was standing, right where the heart should be. The Pegasus screamed a sound so horrifying that she had to wince herself. The wings stalled, and soon fell limp. The winged horse plummeted to the ground, dragging her rider with her. The woman screamed as well, right before she slammed into the ground and broke her neck. All that was left of the two once living things was a bundle of crippled bodies on the floor. The other riders shouted to one another, but Ambra didn't hear what they said. She hid under an overhang as the winged horses and wyverns landed. Please don't find me.
