It was very little warning, but it was enough to let Chloe cover her ears and brace herself, though the shot still managed to make her head hurt a bit. A soon as it was over she uncovered her ears once again. She looked back at Josef to see how he was doing and nodded before turning around and being grabbed by one of them. In an effort to get free she thrashed her legs and kicked until Josef freed her and she crawled away. He opened up the door leading to the top of the flipped vehicle and managed to pull herself up and through. Letting out a sigh she took a moment to survey the area and her stomach dropped. “J…Josef…” She wasn’t sure if she had said his name before or if that was correct. “We have a problem.” They were absolutely surrounded by those things. Slowly she pulled the shotgun off her back. Was this really the right course of action? If it went off then it may draw more of them. No, a lot were already coming, she had to take this opportunity to clear a path for them so they could try and make a break or something. Chloe tensed up as she aimed at the walkers and struggled to hold the gun steady. Finally she pulled the trigger and although it managed to hit something, it was off its mark. What could she do? She had never held a gun in her life, the thought had never even crossed her mind and now that she was in the thick of it she was beginning to regret it. “Please I need some help, or a plan or something.” She said to Josef, backing up slightly before trying to shoot once again.
