This is true. My dad was stationed in a navy base ((marine base) in Sasebo Japan. My mother learned enough Japanese to become fluent and became a translator for the United Nations. I've been to Japan and am semi fluent in the language. I'm also a lover of mythology. My mother's Japanese friend gave my brother and I a pottery grenade. It's my most prized possession. We also climbed Mount Fuji.
