No demon, to his knowledge, openly disobeyed the first of their laws, and that was to interfere with summoned demons and their slaves. Lia never liked her father, per say, but he never knew that she would openly break a law like that. Much less using angelic dialect that Oliver was staring at, as if trying to see it. Once, Oliver had explained that he couldn't read plain text, aside from Braille, but other text he could because it carried aura. Darker texts were demonic, something he knew well, and lighter texts were normally from other seers or clairvoyants, but now he was wondering about this angelic text. Mostly, what it said, because he didn't know anything could stop a summoned like that. He finally removed himself from his mind and looked to Madelyn, who was freaking out, but calmed when she found her master gone, and soon the trio were making their way through the dorm halls. He looked to her when she began thanking him, and he gave a soft smile. "It isn't a big deal, really. I didn't do much, I just wanted to help." He said, and he noted how Oliver continued to stare at the markings. They were finally at the hallway, and Ayden could feel Madelyn getting weaker. Had she been any other girl, in any other circumstance, he would have asked her to hand him the keys, but this time, he reached into her pocket and grabbed them with ease. After opening the door, he finally scooped Madelyn into his arms, and carried her, the pink key at the ready, and he opened her door with ease. He set her on her bed, and placed her keys on the nearby stand. Not two seconds later, Ayden saw Oliver take the hand with the markings on it, and he traced the air above it. "I didn't know demons could use the angelic language." Ayden sighed, "Demonic language is derived from angelic, but the demonic language is easier for us to use, and it is less likely to cause repercussions. Lucifer hates the angelic language." "Then how does he feel about their warding abilities. I saw this before, in a dream. It's a sort of ward to banish evil entities. It's an old marking too." Oliver explained. Ayden looked to him. "Good to know it works though." He said, leaning against a nearby wall. That was when he saw a hound enter the open door, and the headmaster follow. "Thank you, Rose, go rest." He said, and with a wave of his hand, the hound left, and he headed over to Madelyn, taking up her hand to see the mark. An unreadable look was on his face, but he carefully wiped the dried blood off of Madelyn's hand, and popped her wrist back in place with ease. "Thank you, Oliver, Ayden, go ahead and head back to the festivities, I can handle this." "Will she be okay?" Ayden asked, and the headmaster gave a nod. With that Ayden and Oliver headed off in relative silence until they got to Oliver's dorm. "See you." "Be careful." Oliver said, and Ayden headed to the ballroom and saw Lia sitting with a new guy, and... holy shit, was she SMILING? Ophelia Rizolia, the coldest of them all, was smiling, and it was beautiful. Ayden, however, knew to keep his distance, as neither Rose nor Lily were around, and that meant good things. Lia was rather intrigued. Zephaniah, a fallen angel, wasn't turning away from her, rather, he wanted to sit and talk to her. Not even the demons had made her feel so... well... she never felt like it was okay to be different. Granted, she didn't want to show that, so she nodded. "Alright, I can give you a run down." She said, and when he pulled out the seat for her, she couldn't help the smile that graced her face. Handsome, and gentlemanly, how rare. His first question made her chuckle. "Most of us here are learning to successfully integrate into human society, Zephaniah, these things really set a good tone for modern times." She answered before she saw him motion to Silva who was looking over at them as she danced with Luca. She waved her hand to Silva who just went back to dancing with Luca, and she seemed to be enjoying herself. "And, if you'd believe it, she is one of two I consider real friends. The crowd I run with more or less, hang around because most of the people here wouldn't dare mess with me. I tend to be a bit ruthless." She admitted before she moved her hand gently, and two cups of punch came over and one levitated towards Zephaniah. She took her own and took a long sip, setting it down. "This place, as hard as the headmaster tries, is safe, but it has been getting exceedingly harder to keep the darker parts at bay. I remember last year, one of the Demonic Witches killed themselves to keep their master from fully taking over." She looked down. She sighed, but she looked to Zephaniah, and the smile she couldn't help came. "However, the teachers here are amazing, and if you would believe it, the education is worth it. I just hope I can get back to society, had to come back here because of a rather odd condition of power shifting. I guess all demons go through it though because as I get older it gets worse." She heard the song change in beat, but still fast paced before she asked. "Tell me about yourself because, I have to know why I can stay so closed off to others, but you... you take away any insecurities I do my best to hide I have." She said, her eyes looking over his face. Luca. Was. Drunk. Oh goodness could Silva smell it, but on him it wasn't just alcohol. She could smell the blood he had been drinking, which caused her to look to Lia a bit more. No markings, but demons were known for accelerated healing, just as vampires were. The dismissal that Silva received didn't much affect her, but she had to know what kind of blood was on Luca right now. Because it smelled divine. And dancing so close, she was already wound up, but then again, compared to others, Silva generally stayed away from benders full of lust. Because it bit her once, part of why her father sent her to the school again. Damn werewolves. He nipped at her ear and her eyes brightened to red as she moved with him through the changing beats, and she leaned her head back against his shoulder, and turned her head and gently kissed his neck and then nipped it. Her eyes lowered a bit, but she felt someone knock into her, so she, reflexively turned around and faced Luca fully. She felt everything slow a moment, and she gave a naughty sort of smile. "What do you wanna do now?" She said, finally placing the blood as their mix of fae and elf. For some reason together they tasted and smelled amazing, and she wanted to know what it tasted like mixed into Luca suddenly. Her wild side was coming, she could feel it.
