Character you have created: Harada 'Tremor' Tsunetomo Alias: Tremor Speech Color: Character Alignment: Walking the Line Identity: Known Character Personality (Give information on how your character acts, what he/she believes in, how they handle situations): Tremor is morally conflicted in most crisis situations. While he does have a very lengthy history with eastern crime syndicates, apparent world terrorism, and simple crime in general, he also has a history of reformative actions and welfare of the general public. He is a former Buddhist convert, and as such has a belief system that follows that point in his life. His personally conflict his how he is unable to follow his own beliefs many times. Therefore, you have a reluctant villain many times, reacting out of personal need or defense in brash and dangerous ways. Uniform/costume: Origin Info/Details: Harada grew up the bastard son of a lowly yakuza member, gradually learning the business before at a young age being thrown into an orphanage home due to tragedy. The details of his mothers death have always been uncertain to him, but being a criminally minded youth in the urban Tokyo was a recipe for mischief. It wasn't long before his powers began to show, and he began taking on headhunter roles for his former yakuza relatives. within a decade he has both risen and fallen from those ranks, and his history is a tattered line of Interpol reports, mob rumors, religious revivals, and natural disasters. Hero Type: Energy(Seismic) Power Level: World Level Powers: Tremor can generate, manipulate, and nullify vibrations, especially seismic fluctuation of the earth. This manifests itself in very acute senses such as hearing(if the object in question is grounded, he can sense it through the earth. He possesses extremely powerful striking ability(he generates earthquakes with his strikes) and is trained in a few martial arts to a master level making him very dangerous in close quarters. Tremor has amazing reaction/endurance/strength due to amplified muscle structure, though compared to real super muscle or speedsters he can't really compete but is in the top tier of endurance for meta-humans. Attributes: Strength Level: 2 tons Speed/Reaction Timing Level: 50. Endurance at MAXIMUM Effort: 5 hours. Agility: 2X Intelligence: Average Fighting Skill: Mastered Resources: Minimal Weaknesses: Tremor's powers seem to be tied directly to his cardiac system. Should he over exeart his powers, or should outside forces compromise his heart/vascular system, the result are catastrophic, potentially lethal, and uncontrollable. Generating a R-9 earthquake would literally give him a heart attack and vice versa. Tremor is personally only vaguely aware of this(he knows his powers seem to change with his emotions, but emotions deal with your heart rate.) Supporting Characters: Smoke:Employer - Tremor has recently fallen in with an old infrequent employer of his named Smoke. He doesn't know much about him personally, but he knows he pays the bills, and plays both their cards straight. Do you know how to post pictures on RPG boards?: Si Sample Post (Minimum Four paragraphs containing dialogue. As this is an Advanced Level game, Sample must also meet the RPG forum's minimum requirement of 12 lines): The whiskey tasted sour. He never much liked that, but hey, it got him where he needed to be. It eased the soreness at least, that slow throbbing that built up somewhere between hurt and broken. Twas a shame it never quieted that nagging at the back of his brain though. He'd learned how to ignore it by now, even if it did get loud at times. So why did he keep drinking? Was that really a question to ask as he lay slumped on the bar wondering if the stool could handle his moodswings? Ah well, the bartender didn't mind either way. That is until the door opened. Smoke rolled in, literally, figuratively, the man was a vagrant of culture, and a devil of a man to cross. Nobody knew what he looked like under the hood and draped clothes. He had more in common with a store mannequin than an actual person. Supposedly he was a shapeshifter but the only shifting Harada had seen from him was his dancing around questions. Tremor lurched up from bartop to look at his whiley partner, trying to stare through that have empty hood that floated where a face should have been. He almost giggled at the thought of doing business with a puff of smoke, but that's what life was at the moment. He stifled a hiccup before speaking. "What is it? Did the job go wrong?" "Oh no, just a whole district of lower east Venezuela shaken up. You really don't know what subtly is do you?" sneered Smoke, having placed himself by Harada in the corner. "Neither does the cartel." countered Harada, sucking his teeth at the snide remarks. Smoke took something out of his jacket, placing it on the table as he spoke, "Neither does Interpol you drunk." He opened it, with a hazy appendage that looked like hand where his sleeve hung. Harada gave a inquisitive grunt. "S'that>" "Money. Or at least if you look hard enough for it. People these days are calling it 'opportunity'. You game?" Harada looked down over the edge of the glass hanging from his lips. New Haven's landmass looked skewed from the light-shift of the amber whiskey, but he still registered it. He'd heard rumors of the place, and now he'd get to check them out. Harada plopped down the glass with a CLINK. "I'm game."
