Lexi’s buried herself in her burger as Harry went on and on to Peter, though she swallowed a laugh by swallowing a bite of her food when Harry would look at Peter in a shocked manner as he guessed what happened over and over again. She groaned a little into her burger when he tried to make it sound like it was her idea. “My idea was to get the food not to go there. Geeze.” She rolled her blue eyes rather dramatically before giving Peter a twinkling playful look. Yeah she wasn’t lying but the two of them had their secrets from Harry and it was understandable as to why. The day was long and boring, and Lexi was dreading her talk with Peter. It wasn’t her fault. Her mom picked her up from school and took her home before she showered and changed out of the dress into a pair dark blue jeans and a black t-shirt before running out the door with her book bag over her shoulder. “Going to study at Peter’s, be back tonight!” She called out through her house before slamming the door and walking to his place. The sun was shining and the day was bright and she had a feeling that Aunt May would cook some form of big happily meal to celebrate her two favorite kids being together. She would stop every now and then while walking and look around her. Sometimes one just can’t shake the feeling they’re being watched. A shrug lifted her shoulders as she continued on her walk. Arriving at Peter’s seemed to take forever then again, she was taking her time not really looking forward to the lecture she might receive. There were no cars on the block of his house since most people were still at work and even Aunt May seemed to be out. A small sigh left her as she walked up the stairs and knocked on the door. Her weight shifted from her left foot to her right as she ran her small hand through her thick black hair and pressed her full soft pink lips together, the smell of the vanilla perfume floated lightly in the air around her. She was ready to face the music but hopefully, it wasn’t too bad.
