Elliot stepped forward her hands up, "Maybe Jacob's wrong... Maybe they didn't lie to you... Maybe they will make the war end... But how do you think they are going to do that? You give them what they want and they'll cease and desist... That isn't what is going to happen. They'll end this war by steamrolling us... Killing every last one of us in this building until there is no one left to fight in this war."

Her hands shook as she held them out. She was terrified about what might happen to Jacob. She looked at Kyle and pleaded, "Please... Let him go... You don't want him to die.
