Yup, it's pretty big over there, I hear that as soon as you get off the subway there are billboards and advertisements all over for clinics. It doesn't have quite the same negative connotation in the West though (it does and it doesn't), especially since it's not called "plastic" surgery, I forget what the word is but it implies something closer to transformation. The beauty standards can be ridiculous and surgery is sort of common-ish (it isn't uncommon at all for k-pop stars get a combination of eye+nose surgery before they start their careers, even Leo has) but there's a term for people who go too far called "plastic surgery monster". o_o The worst thing is that at least with women, some kind of start to blend together after a while? Like the equivalent of copy+pasting faces on people D: There's actually supposed to be a Korean show starting soon (maybe it already did?) where they help people who want to go back to looking the way they did before they had surgery. Although... that requires more surgery... ._. What are you seeing a doctor for exactly? That reminds me, I should be getting my blood test results back later today. And the clothes I ordered a month ago should be delivered today too. *w* Good luck with your essays, Rex! I feel like playing classic Ragnarok Online for some reason... But only if it works on my netbook =3= I'm just killing time until I have enough money to spare to renew my FF14 subscription, haha... (Edit: I've been playing Tiny Dice Dungeon like crazy on my phone, too!)
