Small ones like these are usually dirty from living out in their natural habitats. When you appropriate it from its burrow make sure to give it a thorough bath so it loves you. Baby bunnies love baths, even more than the warmth of a fire. Carefully hold it so you don't hurt it, but firm so it can't escape your love, then proceed to place it under the water. If it squirms, don't worry, thrashing means "I love you".
