Enasi mentally sighed when the conversation turned. He listened to Crios, but his attention turned to Harper noticing the spikes of annoyance and confusion. "Hm? Oh, sorry." He took the belt and put it around his waist, pulling his jacket over it. "I'm sure he won't need it, but okay." Harper regained his composure and spoke of his part. Enasi started to say something, but Rue spoke out. Harper turned toward the little kid and frowned, in no mood to deal with him. The rabbit started to speak, but Enasi held his hand up, immediately silencing the guard. "I'm not going to make you apologize for your opinion, but you do need to calm down." This made Harper sigh, his ears drooping slightly. "My apologies sir." -- “Aww, if that ain't the cutest look I ever seen on you Hops.” Seishu mutters with a patronizing pout. His ears immediately snap back to attention but Seishu ignores him. Instead he begins poking at the thing rustling around under the sheets. The distinct sound of muffled giggles brings a grin to the guardian's face. After a couple seconds of prodding the pale rosy cheeked little face pops out just far enough to look Seishu in the eye. “Hey, before you go, what was the dream this time? Please please peeeease! I'm dying to know!” he chirps, the biggest widest pleading eyes growing larger and larger as he begs. Seishu stares back, his own eyes going wide like someone who's seen a ghost. Crios sighs, almost ready to tell the boy to wait, however he too is beyond curious to know what Lord Enasi and Night dream about together. 'After all, this world has made the most cynical guy I've ever met think he's fallen in love. This could be very educational' Laughing slightly Seishu finally breaks and looks towards his counterpart. “I think we can spare a few minutes.” His words sound like they should be a demand, however he falls silent and waits for Enasi to make a ruling none the less. --- Enasi's eyes traveled else where when Rue perked up about the dream. He was fairly embarrased about the entire thing. From the beginning to the end. And he planned to make no effort in explaining the many times he blushed and the many times he stumbled over his words. All eyes were on him, awaiting judgement. "I... Well I'd rather not have Rue explode. And it's not like you won't tell." He held his arm before running fingers through his hair. "I told Rue the last dream I believe. You can do. . the honors." For some reason it felt like a bad idea to let Seishu explain the dream. Harper moved farther away, toward the door paying closer attention to the conversation. Crios too had a look of curiosity as the guardians exchange words. --- With a little shout of joy at his guardian's words Rue shuffles to the middle of the bed and lays down on his stomach facing Seishu. Propping his head on his hands, he stares up in already evident curiosity and wonder, and Seishu hasn't even said anything yet. Off to the side Crios settles against the wall to listen, and Seishu can not help smiling at the rapt attention. A large part of his ego threatens to inflate, however the nature of their dreamish thing keeps him from downright preening under the curious gazes of the dream beings. Settling himself in a bit, getting as comfortable as he can, Seishu closes his eyes and lets himself remember. “Like last time, I began in the dark. It was only for a short time, and as soon as I felt it, that feeling in my hand, I took off to where it directed me. As I ran I got the feeling of being very high up, the ground beneath me becoming solid stone. When at last I saw him a breeze had started, taking my hair for a ride this way and that. It was so refreshing.” Rue lets out a soft sigh and wriggles around a bit. Harper on the other hand remains fairly still, his gaze sliding to his guardian every so often to see his responses. “The sky erupted in flaming colors as I come close, the emptiness giving birth to a sunset of oranges, reds, and yellows like you've never seen. It was dim enough not to hurt my eyes, but bright enough make darker skin than mine glow.” He lets a smile sneak across his face but keeps his eyes shut. “We could see it now. We were standing on a high cliff. A rock wall to one side, open air on the other, with a sizable shelf for us to move around on. I ran to the edge, no fear inside of the height and down below a thick blanket of fluffy clouds spread out, covering everything as far as the eye could see. I know not how thick the clouds were, nor what lay beneath them, but I knew what I wanted to do.” Seishu can feel Rue shift a little closer, but too far into the memory to let it distract him. “I let myself fall,” a gasp, “the wind whip by me drawing my hair before my face as I fell backwards into the world below. However before I entered the cloud my wings sprang forth. I soared, and it was wonderful. I did not want to have fun alone though so I turned to invite Enasi to follow. But it seems I was the only one experienced in such things.” Seishu pauses, only for an instant, the urge to tease nearly irresistible, but after only half a breath he moves on. “So I took the only action I could see as fair and carried him with me out over the clouds.” He decides to gloss over a few things, not wanting to get hit mid story. “We enjoyed flying for a time, and I sang that song I promised to sing him. The lullaby of my world. But after a time, I wanted to do more.” He smiles once more. “And that world let me. With my hands I fashioned him his own set of wings.” His fingers move across the blanket at the memory of weaving that strange energy. “White and feathered, very beautiful and they suited him well. I coaxed him to fly on his own, and he took to t like a duck to water. Even with only the wind to guide him, and a few hints from me, he began flying as if he were made for it.” Biting his lip he lets out a sigh. “I teased him a bit, my devious side making it harder on him to fly, but it was right about then that we fell away from one another and I awoke.” With that he opens his eyes and gazes down at Rue with the same placated smile that covers his face when he thinks of things he cares deeply about. --- Carefully, both high ranking minions listened to the story, not wanting to miss a single detail. Harper was probably more attentive than Crios considering he had recently learned of this new information. His gaze flicked to see Enasi taking a seat in his usual chair, staring down at the floor. 'I can't read his emotions. Embarrassment maybe? Harper's ears twitched towards the sound of his guardian being teased. That's when he noticed Enasi's darkening cheeks as well. Crios on the other hand was watching both of the guardian's expressions. With the new information he learned, Seishu's expressions of. . .love where more obvious. And Enasi had a more soft look in his eyes. There was obvious some unspoken embarrassments the two had, but Seishu spared the dream guardian. But in Enasi's eyes, there was something . Was it love too? It was hard to tell with the emotional guardian. Enasi didn't catch either of the dream minions glancing over at him. He was too busy reimagining the dream and every detail, including the things that hadn't been told. And then, Seishu finished the story. Rue beamed immediately as Seishu looked up at him. "It sounds pretty! But...what do you mean you mean you teased Lord Enasi?" His head tilted cutely in confusion. Thankfully, Crios was the one to save Enasi. "He'll have to tell you later Rue. We need Seishu to heal up remember?" "Oh, right!" Enasi stood and gave a gentle smile to Harper. "I'll be fine. I promise. Just keep the kingdom in check okay? And Rue, don't forget. You're my little messenger." --- The rabbit man lets out a sigh, conceding to his lord's wishes silently. Crios pushes off the wall and scoops Rue off the bed. The little sparkler opens his mouth to object but falls silent as Crios takes him to the side of the room and turns so he can see the bed. He nods silently and Seishu rolls his eyes. Harper raises an eyebrow at the action but Crios beckons him over. Still looking curious he wanders over to stand beside the doctor, turning to stand at the ready should Lord Enasi need him. Meanwhile the Nightmare Guardian lets out an over exaggerated sigh and throws back the covers. Still in his bathing attire he stares at his pale legs for a few seconds before deciding to save his energy. 'I can change once we've gotten to a good place for it. I hope it's not mid-winter wherever Hops decided to dump us' Scooting carefully to the edge of the bed he can feel the throb of his stomach wound growing harsher and he reminds himself to not tear his stitches open again. As soon as he's at the edge of the bed he looks to the Dream Guardian and cocks his head. His hand comes up to hover in the air, his fingers motioning him over to help him up. Seishu could do it on his own, but he wants to save his energy. --- Enasi ignored the fact that he was still in only shorts. At least he was in shorts, unlike when he spoke of swimming nude in his- Why was he thinking about that at a time like this?! He shook the thought away and walked up to Seishu as he beckoned him forward. "In the hall right?" He held his hand out to Seishu and waited for him. Harper had never watched the two interact so close, and once again he was on edge. Which was another reason Crios moved him off to the side. "Yes sir." Harper said before turning to Crios, feeling a sharp prod with his arm. Immediately, his energies lowered and he stepped back, closer to the wall. Once Enasi was able to adjust with Seishu, he led the way towards the door, the other three falling behind him. "Alright. It shouldn't be that complicated." He held Seishu's waist in one arm and wrapped Seishu's arm around his shoulder, gently taking his hand if he so happened to fall or stumble. --- Seishu pulls himself up carefully, letting Enasi control the situation for a few seconds while he fought the urge to vomit. 'The waves coming off Hops is enough to gag a maggot' Soon enough though the energy pulls back and he's able to breathe easily again. His gaze turns to the male beside him, the faint rumble of emotions in the back of his mind making him smile wickedly. He's ready to pick on his counterpart over them, however there is something feels he needs to do first. Taking a firmer grip on the hand gripping his own he leans in close to the Dream Guardian, his voice a low apologetic purr, “I'm sorry I let you fall.” While the words are honest and simple, Seishu still feels a wave of nausea afterward followed by a trickle of positive energy sliding from himself over to the man beneath his arm. Behind them Harper tenses at the motion, the odd exchange of energy confusing him greatly. He looks to Crios in question however the doctor looks just as confused. Rue noticed the exchange, but isn't worried about it in the least. Pulling back Seishu smirks. “Lead the way, oh great and mighty flufflord!” he declares, his voice very mocking and jovial, but Rue lets out a giggle, knowing Seishu is just being nice in his own mean way. --- The Dream Guardian halted to a stop and watched Seishu. The purr in his voice was... He didn't know the word for it. A good kind of odd. One that had him blush lightly, but not exactly out of embarrassment. It was hard to put his finger on it, and it was going to roll through his mind until he figured it out. "It's no problem. It wasn't your fault." His voice was soft and he looked away for a brief moment before meeting the other's eyes. He didn't notice how nice they were until- Enasi blinked and cleared his throat slowly making his way to the portal that was previously spoken of. The feeling of the pure positive energy made him sigh softly, and smile. Harper narrowed his eyes towards Seishu, but quickly led the way to the portal. "I haven't been to the human realm in awhile." He admitted, and with a small wave, he led the Nightmare Guardian through it.
